I know you are trying to help but at the same time you are not helping by posting details of those 'affordable' hospitals here because:

1. Agents monitoring this thread will take undue advantage of such info and within weeks those hospitals will be 'non affordable' as they will be bombarded with request.

2. People need to make their own findings and discover more hospitals rather than recycling few that has been mentioned here already.

3. Hospitals who charged thousands of $$$$ also need to pay to advertise here just as others are doing.

4. All the info one need to find new hospitals are here already and if you can afford to spend thousands of $$$ to give birth in US but too lazy to do some reading and research then you are not ready yet.

So basically ..please don't paste details of those hospitals here
I thought we had resolved all these issues previously. Even Seun had to come in.
She said she has details of affordable hospitals, if they are hospitals already mentioned here, I don't think she will be talking about them.
Coming here to read is also researching so I don't know what your argument is.
The hospitals listed on this thread have already been overused so having new hospitals listed should be encouraged.
I don talk my own... Cheers.

@0 Nnystc, to add to your question, the Ds 3053 I saw on the website will expire this August, can someone still use it after August?
Once either of the parents won't be around you need the DS 3053 form notarized ,not all lawyers are public notary, you need to get a notary lawyer to do it though,i don't know whether California accepts form notarized by lawyer or it must be notarised from embassy.
Please, Bisoye and Njidekachi,we need your clarification. Thanks
I had my baby in August 2015 in CA and I had my consent form notarised before travelling. The form wasn't dated and I scanned the form to the Lawyer after it was completed as requested by him to update his records.

Have you checked airbnb? Homestay? There's even a website for free accommodation for as long as 6mth to 1yr if you will provide assistance like childcare, babysitting cooking for a few hours daily. Sometimes, you may have a mansion to yourself if your host is never around.

There's another website for shorter stay, also free accommodation if your host is travelling and they have animals you may need to tend to when they are away.
That means Na Nanny, cook or help job I go dey do with big belle. I know say dollar exchange rates ain't smiling but e never reach this kain desperation.

I also flew with emirates, nothing was asked till I reached immigration in 9ja. Only baby US passport, also in Dubai for dubai connect. Didnt ask. I was already wondering if I wasted my money doing ETC till 9ja immigration asked for it. But errr... dat one fit be fluke grin
No be calculated risk! Mba, I no bell ooo
Wow, the lady specifically asked for my baby's visa oh. Since it's been established that you can fly emirate without a visa if you are below 16. Maybe mums using Emirates should try the visa on arrival option.

I'm using Lufthansa this time around and I will be in NY so I will do a passport this time.

Modath way don born finish... Nah Nef go bell the cat.

Last year, I traveled with Emirates, the specifically asked for my baby's visa and when the saw the hand written visa and had to go in to show her boss. I will not advise anyone to try it only if you mail the airline and they confirm via email atleast the wont be able to deny when you reach the airport.

I understand you but I think it's better people just do Dropbox

The fraction of people they call is really small and if they do call you then you can go with your burden of proof

I say this because I felt really bad when onilese was bounced. I even felt worse when I saw my name in the mix apparently he did it because of my own Dropbox experience.

thank God they still made it but visa is one of those issues when 'subjectism' can't be ruled out. Especially Yankee visa

The fact that you are qualified and have all your burden of proof doesn't mean you will get it

So I think I will say everyone qualified for Dropbox should go that route
I concur. I did drop box early this year but I wasn't called for any interview, after I got my visa. I applied for my son and I took him for the interview with my burden of proof yet no document was asked.

Just early this week I sent my notification of intent with my passport and visa details and I got a response an hour later saying it was okay but I should travel with my birth plan which should include my doctor's correspondence and proof that I can pay my bills. Please note that I had my 2nd baby in the US and I stated that in my renewal.

St mary's hospital in new jersey dress fares
Hello Tyrah, I just called St Mary's and they are affordable compared to other quotes I have gotten. However they claim to work with any Obgyn or certified midwife.

Have you used St Mary's, if you have which doctor did you use.

Thanks

Like joke oh, Nef don become hot cake.

Which banks are still selling PTA. The dollar rates ain't it at all. Last year I spent $12,000 (@200) that was N2.4m. FYI, I didn't pay for accommodation and feeding.

Now I'm planning my trip on $10,000 @350 that's N3.5m.

See the difference within a year.

Any PTA news or banks still doing Form A.

Welcome to the club... Hmmmm me I can't even shout. Before baba God will vex for me.
We r in d same shoes as per dieting... Bigfido comman see my partner.
There are vegetarians who get pregnant and give birth to healthy babies... So don't beat ur urself about the dieting.
My last baby I didn't take prenatals till I was like 5 months and even at that I wasn't consistent... I hate drugs Abeg.
So relax u r fine
No real club, I was seriously dieting and the belle was just getting big so I had to do a strip test at home before all the scans.

Glad to know I have a partner, they only person that knows is my mum, I'm wondering people's expression and thoughts when they see my belle when I just gave birth in August. Make I talk true shame dey catch me.

Is you EDD also December?

nefertitiram:
Confession time... I stopped taking prenatal at 10 weeks *shame face* and u sef don see my baby grin
You try oh. I have seen your baby's pic she looks good. It's just a miracle.

firsttymum:
Same here.. So annoying
For both my babies, I started prenatal at 6 weeks and Im very consistent. That's why I feel a Lil bad.

Don't buy tickets now. They will drop around October. I can assure you this
@ Nerf, are you for real. If I'm travelling last week of Nov make I no buy till October.

I got Delta to New York for 300,000

And you know this flexible fx regime is just a trial. If we don't get as much investors as we anticipate, they might be further devaluation.

Is 300k not cheap enough at an exchange rate of 285/$ and 345/$ (black market).

I'm just so confused.

See rough play o!December EDD ke? Means you are already 4 months gone and skipped a whole trimester without knowinghuh

Baba God this is the kind of preg we want ooooo! No morning sickness and the likes!

Congrats dear. This baby is for signs and wonders. Kids that come like this have greatness attached to them. Chai, I envy you o! For me, morning sickness starts before missed period sef. I end up miserable for half the preg period and I've been asking God that next preg I should not know till after 5 months gone! So happy for ya!

As per the prenatal stuff, I read somewhere that rice is high in folic acid, even though it's advisable to take supplements, we get a lot from our rice rich diet. Your baby is fine jare.
Nah real rough play. See me wey dey yab my friends wen dey carry belle shortly after them born. My daughter will be 11 months on the 5th and I don already get belle of about 17 weeks.

1st scan said I was 15w3d we were shocked, I told hubby that it's not possible that I will do another scan. 2days after on a Monday I went alone and 2nd scan said 16 weeks. That was also shocking and 3rd scan on a Wednesday was16w2d. The 3 scans were done in different places. So I'm stuck with a December EDD.

Well I'm hoping for the best and see this as a blessing from God.

Thanks and Amen.
