Wizkid pulled off an unexpected stunt last night!
The "omo jaiye jaiye crooner" caused a 30minutes stampede at the New Afrika Shrine last night when he threw two bale of N500 notes supposedly around the sum of N100,000 into the crowd.
The fight for the N500 notes amongst the crowd couldn’t be controlled by the stage security - In fact security guards joined in the fight for the money.
The fight led to a stampede and lasted for another 30 minutes until the intervention of more security officials and show host Omobaba who pleaded for the crowd to be calm.

Our first lady, Patience Jonathan, was honored with a doctorate degree in South Korea on Thursday October 10th; that's her fourth Honorary Doctorate degree since becoming Nigeria's First Lady.
The ceremony was attended by wives of the governors of Benue and Ebonyi, wives of the Chief of Army Staff and the Chief of Naval Staff, among other dignitaries.
On receiving her latest honorary degree from the Hansei University in South Korean, our first lady said“I was just doing my own thing not knowing that in far away Asia everything was being noted. I want to assure you all that with God’s help I will do more. My grandma used to say: `Whatever little you have, share; If you have a thousand and you can’t share, you won’t share a million if you have’.” Mrs. Jonathan said.

Aww Tolu Odukoya Ijogun is so excited about the new addition to her family! The first daughter of late pastor Bimbo Odukoya of Fountain of Life, Tolu Odukoya Ijogun and her husband Olumide Ijogun welcomed their first child - a bouncing baby girl - on September 8th in the US.
The new mother shared the photo above two days after she welcomed her baby girl. "Becoming a parent doesn't change you, it makes you realize that little people that You created deserve the very best of your time..."

A yet-to-be identified batch C corps member died this morning in a fatal road accident which occurred at the Akwanga-Lafia road in Nasarawa State. He was on his way to Lafia for the Batch C Passing Out Parade when the vehicle he was in got crushed by a truck.

In a recent interview with a national newspaper, Chinagorom Onuoha, better known as African China, disclosed how he fathered168 kids from different women before he got married. African China says he is not a sex-freak but he was unable to turn down sexual advances from his teeming female fans thus "the many children"

Onuoha, who sometime ago was involved in a sex scandal in the UK, said he decided to accept the pregnancies because he did not want the ladies to abort the pregnancies.

“It is not that I enjoy running after the opposite sex, but as a star, I always find them around me and there's no way I can just chase them away. As a matter of fact, I had an option of telling the ladies to abort the pregnancies but I know the Bible is against such.”

Nairalanders, Bolanle and Segun had their first wedding anniversary yesterday and they were so excited.
With all joy, Bolanle (the beautiful bride/wife) who is full of thanks to God, says the marital journey has been AMAZING, she couldn't have wished for any thing better - aww!
Their love story is gonna thrill you guys...*winks*.
Bolanle and Segun officially met while they were both attending school at Rutgers University in February 2006. While they were both attending Rutgers University, Bolanle was doing work-study at the bookstore and Segun came to buy a textbook. While Bolanle was ringing up his item at the cashiers register, Segun smiled and said “hello”.
They were both shy to start up a conversation but they were drawn to each other already!
They met again but this time, Bolanle was sitting in the hallway in one of Rutgers famous building called “Roberson Hall”, and has God will make it, Segun was strolling the hallway with one of his friends called Olu.
As soon as he saw Bola, he overcame his shyness, walked up to her and said “hello”, and then he started a short conversation and ensured that they exchanged numbers.
As time went by, Bolanle and Segun spoke constantly on the phone, non-stop sometimes till early hours of the following morning talking of sweet nothings...
Because of Segun’s kindness and selflessness, he would give Bolanle frequent rides to and from work because at that time she had no driver’s license or personal car. Aww!
As the friendship grew even stronger, Segun asked Bolanle to be his girl and she said yes.
The Proposal
Throughout the mid to late stages of our relationship, they talked about what they wanted from the relationship and how they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
Fast forward to August 2011, Segun was secretly preparing to propose to the love of his life.
So on August 1st 2011, they went to a restaurant to have dinner and then to the movies.
"During our dinner date that Segun held my hands and told me I was his princess. We had a great time at the movies and he dropped me off at home. On August 2nd at around 8:40AM, still sleeping I heard a slight knock on my room door and Segun walked in smiling. Still unsure if I was dreaming or not, he walked to my bedside, got down on one knee holding my hand. He started saying how he wanted us to spend the rest of our lives together and other sweet things to me, removed a box from his pocket and opening the box to show the ring, and then he popped the question, of course, I said YES!!" Drama ensued at the third mainland bridge over the weekend when a crowd gathered around the car of legendary Afrobeat King, Femi Kuti, to locate a Lizard that almost caused him an accident.

Narrating his ordeal, Kuti, who arrived late to the MUSON Center, where he was a guest artiste at the pre-event press briefing on the coming MUSON anniversary concert, described the experience as horrifying.

He said the lizard appeared all of a sudden, from the dashboard of the car, while he was at top speed, starring at him snappily before ducking away..

“You know, it could have been a disaster if the lizard had run through my trousers, climbing to my private part. You can imagine how jumpy I could have reacted, trying to protect my manhood. Because, that to me is an important part of who I am, I can’t joke with it. Evil people could be at work,” added the musician jocularly, still wondering how the lizard got into his car."

After the event, Femi insisted he will not drive the jeep till the Lizard was found!
