I remember walking over to my neighbor's window, and watching Terminator 2; the same window I had watched many movies in the past. And the same place i would watch my first porn movie at the age of 11. I was there, wondering, why is this girl was drinking the guys's urine...thinking "Oh my God, this girl must be mad." Fast forward about twenty three years, and that act has become my favorite intimate act.


In life, you can never know what you would be in the future. You can plan all you want, but, somewhere somehow, things might get twisted, and not go the way you planned. Like my plans of marrying Toyin at the age of 25, straight out of the University. She was 21, and madly inlove with me. I would talk to her for hours, and she even almost failed a final year course because of me. That was how mad our love was. But with time, I learnt that it takes more than love to get married. I had to let her go. And although I think of her many times, I know she made the best decision. She is happily married with two kids, and I am still on my hustle. I might become the richest man in Africa in about ten years, but if she stuck around, she would be nearing menopause by the time. So, why put her through all that? I know that we might meet again in the future, when I am riding in my Rolls Royce Phantom, and she would think to herself "How I wish i waited for Kay." But I will know, deep down in my heart that she made the right decision.



I would never want a girl I hate go through all the trying times I have gone through, and might still go through. I guess this is the reason why most of the men that change the world usually sacrifice a lot for that change they bring to the world. You can't have your cake and eat it. I love love. In fact I love love so much that I have dedicate a large portion of my youth to writing romantic stories, but I know that fantasy is fantasy; you enjoy it on the screen for about an hour and the half, and you go back to your real life. But it is good to take your mind off the crazy world we live in. Like DMX once said- "To live is to suffer. To survive, well that's to find meaning in the suffering."



So, look for that happy place you can escape to when you are going through tough times. And most importantly, chase your dreams. But know that things wont always be rosy. You give and you take; in the end, I guess it will all makes sense.

I still love her music, but thank God Nas left her. See how shapeless Kelis is looking...She is looking more like Nas's mother in this pic. She has a 6 year old son for Nas, and this is going to be her second child. I wish her all the best, but it was a great thing they divorced.
