After almost postponing the scan till next Thursday again but for the intervention of a man from pathology department, we did it around 3pm. I didn't understand their terminologies but I could deduce the thing might be more than what we are seeing. We wait for the result tomorrow. May Allah help us.

The xray we supposed to do today has been rescheduled for tomorrow. In fact, they actually rescheduled it for Thursday but when my sister met one of the Doctors and gave her a note, they now said we should come tomorrow perhaps they will do it. I pray God lessen the pain she's going through and that they attend to us tomorrow. Below is the card of the xray we ought to do today.

Its not so bad, a little more and they should be able to reach her target.
From the pics you posted there it is evident that they know what they are doing. Mesporin and levoflox at the same time indicates they are battling hard with sepsis/infection.
The second X-ray i guess is to see the level of bone involved.
From all indications they are doing a good job. There is hope yet.
What's her bp like this morning? Is mama chatting with you guys or is she sleeping most of the time? Are her responses coherent?

That leg should come off by next week. If she survives the surgery she should be well on her way to recovery.


Another thing, anyone of you guys there giving her food that the doctor has not recommended are just making things worse. No eba, fufu, akpu, rice, yam, bread, honey, herbal concoctions, bitters, or what have you. If you are sneaking it in to her you have to stop that now. Unripe plantain, wheatmeal, quakeroats, beans and bean products like akara, moi-moi: that should be her diet for now and she should be strictly on it. This will bring her sugar level below 140mg/dL and hasten her recovery.

Thanks for your support Sir. She had not been eating those aforementioned foods for the past 5 years. Except I don't know (and there is no way I won't), she can't take herbal concoctions.

Those nurses wouldn't allow us to stay long with her let alone chat with her. I do encourage and give her good tidings whenever I am with her. I hope that is good.

Sorry, I couldn't on time. The one they sis this morning was 172. This after is 190. I have not asked for evening figure. The nurse said the morning figure is the real one.

This one that she had used is countless. They are also giving her insulin, morning and evening.

They said we should wait till 19th Monday to do xray to know where to start the amputation. What they are giving her now is more palliative so that it won't degenerate further. Below are some of the medicine they are giving her. They give her that mesoprin twice a day.

Now I am sad and bitter than ever. I came this evening only to meet the leg worse than before. I am pained. The wound is getting close to the knee Pray Monday comes early Now I am crying profusely. I feel restrained to share her pix again.

I left the hospital yesterday to attend to some also important issues at home and at work. But my sister was there. She told me that the doctor came and check the two xray we had done. He then wrote two other xray, one blood test and also wrote that she should take another pint of blood. All will be done today except one of the xray. That will be done on 19th (Monday). The person in charge gave that date for it.

I will go back tomorrow or early Friday morning. I need to vet teacher's report card and record my pupils' work too. Whatever happens I will keep you updated. Thank you all.

The one in cms, very close to Island maternity.

Dr came, he observed the leg, wrote down notes. He then said Orthopaedics will come to see it tomorrow. So we will have to wait till tomorrow.
I am afraid and fear is gripping me.

That's her pic now. The leg has been redressed. But the groan of pain by her is killing me.

Update.

I don't know why they are yet to tell us the result of the xray. What they said now is to buy a pint of blood that she will take.

Update.
Another scan of the leg done some minutes ago. The specialist will soon come to interpret it and tell us the deepness or shallowness of it plus the next step and that is involved.
