to9ice:Try this if it will work. Replace the link of the one that shows with the edu 732. Of the course Tma has been uploaded it would show. For instance: https://tma.nou.edu.ng/DisplayQuiz.aspx?tmaid=TMA1/EDU701&MatricNumber=NOU142635537. You then replace the edu 701 with 732 and send. |
SortCode:Register it for exam only and redo its Tma |

ginssel:TMA means Tutor Marked Assignment. It plays the role of Continuous Assessment of conventional university. Each course has 4 Tma ranging from Tma 1 to TMA 4. Each Tma has 20 questions. The best 3 Tma are used as your CA. How to solve it: The best thing is to print the Tma if you cannot save it offline before answering them. Then find answers to the questions in your materials. And then go back to the portal and submit your answers. Yes there are past questions for them. |

The Importance of Fasting Tasu’a & Ashura Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 5.172 Narrated by Aisha Ashura’ (i.e. the tenth of Muharram) was a day on which the tribe of Quraish used to fast in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance. The Prophet (saws) also used to fast on this day. So when he (saws) migrated to Medina, he fasted on it and ordered (the Muslims) to fast on it. When the fasting of Ramadan was enjoined, it became optional for the people to fast or not to fast on the day of Ashura.Ibn ‘Abbas reported: “The Prophet (saws) came to Madinah and found the Jews fasting on the day of ‘Ashurah. He (saws) said to them: ‘What is this fast?’ They said: ‘A great day. Allah saved Moses and the tribes of Israel from their enemies on this day and therefore, Moses fasted on this day.’ The Prophet (saws) said: ‘We have more of a right to Moses than you,’ so he (saws) fasted on that day also and ordered the believers to fast on that day.” Related by al-Bukhari and Muslim. Ibn ‘Abbas reported: “The Messenger of Allah (saws) fasted on the day of ‘Ashurah and ordered the people to fast on it. The people said: ‘O Messenger of Allah (saws) , it is a day that the Jews and Christians honor.’ The Prophet (saws) said, ‘When the following year comes–Allah willing–we shall fast (also) on the ninth.’ The death of the Prophet (saws) came before the following year.” Related by Muslim and Abu Dawud. The tenth of Muharram was a day which not only the pagans of Quraish, but also the Jews and the Christians of the time held in honor before the advent of Islam; and they commemorated this day by fasting. The Messenger of Allah (saws) declared that the believers, because of their true belief upon all the previous Prophets of Allah, had more right to honor this day and he (saws) encouraged the believers to differ from the pagans and fast two days, either the 9 and the 10 or the 10 and the 11 , in commemoration of this great day. Sunan of Abu-Dawood 2419 (part) Narrated by Abu Qatadah: The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “….. I seek from Allah that fasting on the day of ‘Arafah’ may atone for the sins of the preceding and the coming year; and I seek from Allah that fasting on the days of ‘Ashura’ may atone for the sins of the preceding year.” Tasu'a and Ashura is on Monday 11th Oct and Tuesday 12th October. Who Teacher Epp ![]() Everyday, whether the weather is cold or sunny, we feel comfortable or not, we knot tie and tuck in. Everyday, no matter what happens in our house, we smilingly teach our children (they are really our children). Everyday when most parents are asleep or watching TV, we prepare lesson notes. Because we want to be proud of our pupils we go extra mile, sometimes take personal money to equip ourselves. Under intense pressure, we teach with zeal and passion. We take responsibilities. Parents will "yab", administrators will say theirs yet we will not be discouraged. We still teach. They said our reward is heaven even as other professions receive their reward on earth, we never get discouraged. Our investment is long term same with our dividend, we don't mind. We are not satisfy until we see desirable change in our children. What a noble profession. We help the world. We make life. We make things happen. Be contended with your ignorance when you abuse a teacher. If you can write your name, thank a teacher. Happy Teacher's Day to all teacher of the world. We are proud of ourselves.
