Hi guys, my sister submitted her EE application on April 8th but still hasn't received biometric request. Has anyone experienced delays in biometric request? It's kinda worrisome.

I've already submitted without a LOE 🙉 But I had a LOE for a lump deposit from my other savings account. I'm not worried about the inflow and outflow because it's my salary account and quite clear.

Upload both loe and the statement, this way if the agent needs clarification concerning the statement ur loe will easily serve that purpose, therefore u wont be delaying ur application because the agent might send for more explanation concerning certain inflow and outflow on ur statement, but if there is an loe, the loe would sort that out.

Since UK banks don't give bank letter and we have to use bank statements instead, do we need to add a LOE to explain this? Or simply uploading the statements is okay?

Should all pages of your passport be uploaded for pr application? Or only the bio data page and pages with stamps?

Wait till you gain the required work experience legitimately 🤷‍♀️ why further complicate matters?

You guys, I'm in some sort of trouble and I need advice.

I applied for a US student visa in both 2024 and 2025 but got denied on both attempts.

Now, the US has banned Nigeria and I don't know how long it will take so I've decided to try Canada PR pathway. The problem now is, during my US student visa application, in order to "package" my application, I wrote there that I work at an organization that I actually don't work in and inflated my salary. I didn't have a job but I was advised that declaring I didn't have a job would lead to an immediate denial. So I inflated everything.

Now, it's haunting me regarding my Canada PR application. I do not intend to claim points for the US work. I currently work as a corp member and the only payment I receive is from the government.

Let me even come out cleaner. I worked at my PPA from January and left this March due to the fact that I wasn't getting paid and transport cost was eating me up. So I got a rejection letter from the organization and currently looking for a new PPA.

I was hoping to use my old PPA to claim point in case I don't get a new PPA till I finish NYSC. I was thinking if I speak to the PPA man, he'll give me a reference letter and the necessary documents I need. But I don't have a payslip or tax slip. For bank statement, payment is only the 77k payment the government paid us.

Lastly, I should mention that the amount I wrote I earn on my US application is quite high 400k+.

I messed myself up. Experienced and knowledgeable people in the house should help me please.

That's a bit confusing for me because I first worked 20 hours pw for months before switching to 30 hours pw. It seems clearer leaving it as two entries.

2. 7 months and 2 weeks full-time
3. Same job title and same duties (only hours changed)

I currently list them separately on my profile, but I’m now preparing my reference letter.

My questions:
Should I combine both periods into one employment entry since it’s the same employer and the same duties?
Is one reference letter covering the entire period sufficient (clearly stating the change from PT to FT and hours per week)?
Has anyone submitted something similar post-ITA and had no issues?
I want to avoid any unnecessary confusion or ADR.

Hello, I need thoughts on this please

I am in the pool with just almost 2 years foreign work experience in one NOC. I want to confirm that I can claim points for another job in a different NOC. Also, if the business has closed, how can I prove my work experience? I have offer letters, I can get bank statements and maybe the payslips for the period.

*Edit- I proceeded to add my other job experience in a different NOC and my points have increased. I'm unsure about being able to get a reference letter for this job. What are the other alternatives to prove my work experience?

I need a clarification please. Can I enter the pool without my spouse's ECA and IELTS? I do have mine but theirs isn't ready. Do we wait or I can enter the pool and include my spouse in my application without adding their language and degree qualifications?

I got offer from Salford around March, I did my TB test around April 5th with the intention of processing my CAS but unfortunately my TB certificate was delayed for almost ten weeks because I was told to undergo sputum test. While waiting for sputum result, Salford withdrew my admission because I didn't pay the required deposit to secured my place. I subsequently applied into Ulster University which I was given offer.

Now, I am preparing to get my CAS from Ulster because I have gotten my TB certificate after my sputum test result indicate Negative.

My complain now is that my TB certificate has Salford University address which Ulster has already clarity that it's not a problem, but my wife is about doing her TB test.

Should she use the same Salford address as mine or use Ulster?

If she uses Ulster University address as my dependant which is different from mine, hope UKVI won't see this as a fault?

A family is planning to apply for a school in January and there seems to be a new law on dependants from January 2024. The said law is going to restrict student from bringing dependants.

My question is, will the law apply if they get the admission on time and apply for visa by November/December?

I want to believe the law will not be applied until January 2024 or is it for all admission to January 2024 session?

You can't just top up, you have to start counting the 28 days again and ensure you have enough buffer to cover any fluctuations in the rate.

Oh. You did say you have picked a biometric date so it's confusing how you were able to get a date when you didn't submit. Anyway, once your POF is complete 28 days, you can upload, submit your application, pick a date for your biometric and go to TLS for your biometric capture on said date.

You are not supposed to pay and submit your application until the 28 days POF has reached maturity. You risk a refusal when you do that.

When did you request for the correction? How long has it been?If it is more than 2weeks please chase up by contacting UKVI either via paid mail or paid calls.

I won't worry too much on the visa vignette as that will expire.When you arrive and receive the BRP with same error then try to correct it

If you have time you can request to correct it now but know it will cause more delays

Please do you have an idea how long it takes to correct an error on the vignette after it's been returned? It is a passport number error.

Also, is it a problem if a spouse's initials are switched on a dependant's visa? Instead of A B Surname, it's B A Surname.

Please how long does it take TLS to correct an error on a visa? When will the passport be sent back to the applicant after they return it to TLS for correction?
