I have 2.1 but what is the least they accept for deposit?

Check out Liverpool Hope Uni, school fees for Data Science is 11400, if u have a Ist Class or a 2.1 u will be eligible to automatic 3000k pounds discount. There is also a 50% discount scholarship! There are other schools too.

If you are joining the University, you must pay a tuition fee deposit of £3,000 before you arrive, and then pay 50% of the remaining balance at registration, and the remaining balance within 3 months of registration.

Is it compulsory i must pay up to the 50% immidately i get to UK before i can b part of the enrolment

Is there anyone who have applied to Sheffield Hallam university. The form is a bit confusing for the applicant form it stated "Postcode "(UK ONLY) where will i fill my country postcode ? Unless i will submit without Nigeria postcode

If you are for January entry. You should be able to meet up with your tuition fees payment, but be ready to do all sort of jobs and sacrifice the good part of your holiday for work.

You are such a kind person taken your time to break down the whole expenses. Thanks so much i really appreciate at least many of us will benefit and understand what it takes to survive over there as a student especially those going for self sponsor like me .

Am going for master's program and tution fees is £13,500 if i make a deposit of 3000 pounds, the remaining £10500 with your breakdown i don't think i will be able to meet up with the rest tuition fees unless if i apply for student loan and pay back after my program that is if they do give.(

Minimum wage is £8+/hr
There are jobs for £9-£11.

Let's say you get a £9/hr job. 20 hours gives you £180 a week. Sometimes you might not get all 20 hours. So let's work with 17 hours.

17 hours gives you £153 a week, and £612 a month.
If your rent is £300-£350 pcm (I will peg it at £325), you are left with £287.

If you spend £30 weekly on feeding, you are left with £167 for that month.

In 10 months, you would have saved £1670. How much is the rest of the tuition?

During Christmas break, you can get 3 weeks holiday, during Easter break you can get 2 weeks holiday. These breaks are when you can work unlimited hours, and you will be taxed. If you get £400/wk after tax, that's £2k for the total break. Deduct rent, feeding and miscellaneous from it.

These monies will come in piecemeal, not in one block. You will receive several mails from your school to meet up with your payment plan.

Just give them some time they will get back to you hopefully this week

Exactly, People are loosing job everyday. Companies shutting down daily, restaurants and pubs not making enough money to employ more staff. Employers are finding it difficult to even survive this whole economic downturns. Best is for everyone to hold their job very tight now o , 2020 is actually a year of remembrance .

Also don't forget to tell us how struggle be for student over there ....

Please I need help. I am traveling very soon and I still haven’t settled with accommodation, I am not staying in the university hostel and I am still looking for an accommodation. How does it affect my travel plans, would the UK immigration disturb me assuming I don’t have a place till my traveling date, are there options for self isolating for 2 weeks for people like me.

Hamlak , read thru your note , well some of them are fact , which i have made mention in my past post about seychelles , Seychelles is a very expensive island for visitors , they make thier money from tourism. they are into the european markets and american market .

But seychelles is a beutifull place and a lovely place to work and start life , even so called canadians are coming to work in Seychelles , 3 of my colleagues are from canada , 2 from france . Seychellois are freindly people and very accomodating , they will never speak french to you , what they speak is Creole , which is ther local language ,but if u speak english to them , they reply you in english , altough thier english is funny somehow , cause they like stressing the last letter in thier sentence .

Seychelles does not have man power , 80% of workers in Seychelles are foreigners from france , Sri lankan , India , Mauritaus , Italian , Maldives and only 7 Nigerians working here with a permit . Seychelles has over 100 hotels and resort , they depend more on manpower from other countries , but no employee will employ you without a GOP(gainfull occupational permit), this is why i advise that who ever is coming to seychelles for work , should apply for his GOP before coming , I applied for my GOp before i came to seychells , it took about 1 month and 1 week , i arrived Seychelles and i started working at Labriz Silhouette after 8days .

Seychelles is just an island with 80,000 people , but with lot of potentials , the goverment controls everthing, which is good . They import all what they need , cause no farmland in seychelles , what they have is fish and tuna .
Food is very very very very cheap , they Seychelles Marketing Board (SMB ) runs a big super market at Victoria mahe , where you can buy all you need at cheap price , fish is the most chepest thing .

Like u said , you came to seychelles for visit with your family , before you came , did u make any research about seychelles ? 200 dolls for a night in a room is even cheap( U lucky to get it ) , the hotel i work is 900euro per night .

You are giving a 2weeks visit visa at the airport ( is that not enough to vist a country ) why would they extend your stay , when you dont have any money with you again . they have to chase you out .

Seychelles is a small island , and u can be easily picked up if you dont have a permit , its not like Nigeria , where everything is possible , or like london where nigerians can work without permit .

I stayed in London for 9 month , in london i was working as a dish washer , i hated it. but here in seychelles there are better jobs , not dirty jobs . and i have never regretted ever coming to Seychelles .

So my dear freind , seychelles did not runied you , dnt discourage people , u ruined your self .

You came to Seychelles to vist, they gave u 2 weeks visa for free , u spent all your money , and you think u can get a job and work to make some money , No way , no body will employ without permit .

Next time , make your plans before ever thinking of going to any country .

I was reading your post , with a Nigerian freind of mine working here in seychelles , we just laughing , do u think seycheles is Like London , where guys use fake passport or fake permit to work . Na ghana fit u , cause am sure in ghana , u can work ad live without permit (lol)
