Please who can help in admission ro Cambrian college. I try applying to the school and the site is taking me to ocas site. And they are requesting for official transcript. And also all the program am selecting are close even up till January 2025. Any agent that can help in securing admissions. I don't want to rely on NBCC alone because they are already taking long in repling applicant. This is one month now no admission yet I check the fee on Cambrian college on same course I apply to in NBCC is 2k difference. I think I can afford that.
Meh is really tiring waiting for NBCC to respond though on their website it stated 4-6 weeks so hopefully from next week we should hear from them

Hello house.
A wonderful morning to you all.
I want to ask a disturbing question.
I got admission into Algoma university and in the conditional offer, I am to pay a huge sum.
I related with my agent letting him know I cannot afford that money before the payment deadline because it was more than expected. The school demanded 11500cad as initial deposit and I can only afford 5000cad at the moment due to exchange rate wahala.
He said I can go ahead to initiate the payment and he will work on it with the school to get the unconditional offer as they always know what to do. That the major decision lies with the officials issuing visa documents and not mainly the school as you can pay the full fee and still get denied a visa.
I am very confused now because I can see the school stated it that the main condition for acceptance is the initial deposit as that is what grants the offer for a place in the school.
Please what should I do at this crossroad ?
Has anyone been in this kind of situation? How do I go about it please
Thanks as I await your response

Please help a brother. I need a response to this.
This question should be directed to the admission officer, they are the one to help maybe set up a payment plan for you .

Before we apply to any school the first thing we do is to check for the deposit requirements and see if is something we can afford before we proceed.

Since the school demand that amount as compulsory deposit then you have to pay to get the admission. Though you can still write to the admission officer and explain yourself maybe they might consider but even if they do the time they will give you to pay the rest may not be enough for you to save up the remaining balance for the deposit.

So you know the best to do either to proceed pay the deposit or to decline and look for schools that their deposit is within your budget.

Hello everyone,sponsor as POF.

**Due to you great people here contributions I have decided to do the visa applications myself and I will need your guidance.
I will be self-sponsored and I have two options as POF and ur advice is kindly needed.
I have a balance sum of 3.5m in my savings account and I want to add a lump sum of 15m making 18.5m for the study expenses. I forgot to add I’m going for a year diploma course and the bal tuition is 9400 CAD.

My question is should I explained that I transferred the lump sum from my company account that it has been earmarked for my study purpose
Or
Should I explained I sold a property worth the 15m for my study sponsorship with deeds of sale and relevant documents as backup. Please kindly advise me please.
Please what is the name of the college andis admission still on?

I am also self employed. What i did was maintain my statement of account and paid the lumpsum into my student account(school) as part of my tuition, then i submitted both my bank statement and the tuition depositas pof.
How do you pay it with your account.. do you use form A .. because I also planned the same but I heard form A is not really going and I currently base in Europe which I can easily pay it here . But paying it from my Nigeria account that I plan using for my pof would have be the best ...

I asked if I can pay my tuition fee if I get to Canada
I got PPR on Friday 28 of this month
I applied for study permit without any tuition deposit
I need ur advice cuz I need to resume this sept
As long the school didn't require any compulsory deposit from you , or the school didn't ask you to pay any part payment of your tuition fees, then you can travel freely but have your bank statements to show that you have the tuition fees to pay when you get there .

My friend got visa and she has travelled but she didn't pay any tuition for school though we all base in Europe so she travelled from Europe.

Hello great people,

Please my flight is on Aug 11th and it's been hard getting a place to rent. Although I have started reaching out to some on kijiji, but I'll need a tour of the place first.

I just thought of putting it here if I could get a place or anyone I can put up with for about a week around Toronto, Scarborough, while I source for my own space as soon as I arrive.

I'm a guy btw smiley

Thanks so much and God bless you 🙏
If you can't find anyone, then try use booking.com and search for cheapest hotel within that area. You can even hostel very cheap to manage for the main time

Thanks, I didn't use Form A. A family friend in Canada payed it.
Okay , because I can easily pay it here in Germany but I just wanted to use my Nigeria account to pay since that is the account I plan using for my pof but anyway I think I will just pay it from here as long the receipt show my name and the account here is also my account.

Thanks

Does That mean when the visa is approved you’ll have to send your passport back to naija to get the sticker or you can get it over there?
The visa office where you apply may have certain instructions on how and where to submit your passport and how to get your visa. Your passport will be stamped by the nearest Canadian consulate.

Can I apply outside my home country ?
If you are legally admitted to the country you are currently in, you can apply at your nearest visa application centre or you can also apply online.

I am currently outside my home country, can I do my biometrics in another country? Yes, you can go to any VAC – it doesn't have to be the VAC in your country of residence.

?
Yes my pof is in my Nigeria account, to be easy for me to prove . If you have work contract wherever you are you can use your 3-4 months pay slips to show how you get your money.

To verify your pof , leave the job for the ircc to do , you just make sure your documents are genuine.

But for the biometric am not sure if you can do it outside your country of citizen, but ask the guru to be sure

Good day house so I finally got admission and I’m ready to put in the application my problem is I’m not in Nigeria although I work here I’m a legal resident but my pof and other supporting documents (home ties) are from nigeria..will I need to go back and apply from nigeria??
I also base in Europe and I have my residence permit here . So you don't need to travel to Nigeria only if you have done your biometric once before and if you haven't then ask to be sure if you can do biometric outside your country of citizenship. Because I once applied to Canada five years ago in Nigeria before I moved to Europe . So my biometric is still active.

I have Maths D7 in WAEC and B3 in NECO
Can i use the both to apply?
NBCC applicants with WAEC or NECO certificates are required to purchase a West African Examination Council (WAEC) scratch card or National Examination Council (NECO) scratch card.

Admissions decision will be based on your WAEC or NECO results. A minimum score of C6 on English and Math is required for admission to NBCC.

If your neco result is good then submit the neco but to combine two results that is what I don't know and nobody here can give you that answer except the admission officer, so help yourself and contact the school.

Try Conestoga. I directed a friend on how to fill out the application and he submitted on Thursday and he got an offer on Monday… just 2 working days and it’s for January intake. I think the course he chose is less competitive and the campus too…
What is the deposit fee?
