Good day house, please those in u.k if I want to drive In the u.k can I make use of my Nigerian driver's licence or I have to go for the driving test. because I intend buying a car because of the distance of my job, pls people in u.k that knows about it should highlight me. because in the home office portal it said I can use my Nigerian driver's license for one year. Sometimes ehn... when we are stating our questions or concerns, it would be nice not to assume anyone knows our case and explain in details. I had to click on ur name to realise you didn't apply for visitors visa and that’s what people are/were answering you about.
Looks like you are a tier 4 dependent, you can also ask on the student thread. The answers from people in same shoe as you would help better.

To apply for visa: You need a bank statement to support your application.

If you already have U.K. visa then you don’t need bank statement. All you will need is cash / bank card that will cover your trip expenses

they did not contact me, my agent sent dem mail and they replied that it is ready, I believe the passport is ready because mine have been ready since 17th August

I submitted on the 4th of august they did not contact me, my agent sent dem mail and they repplied that my passport is ready for collection and they did not send mail to my daughter too but when I got there the 2passport was ready since on the 17th of august.

pls when you received this message what did you do, because I received the message too and contacted my lead applicant and the school gave her a letter but we don't have the home office mail nor number to send it to.

Just to update you guys.... Got a call from TLS to come pickup my passport. I collected it yesterday with the replacement vignette valid for 3 months.
Timeline: Submitted Aug 5th in Abuja.

my lead applicant contacted d school and was sent a letter that she is still an active student the heading was " TO WHO IT MAY CONCERN" but we did not knw were to send it to.

You have applied for a Tier 4 Student dependant visa and we note that the Lead Applicant's course dates have now passed, we have contacted the Lead Applicant to request new course dates.
If the lead applicant is providing us with new course dates starting within the next 3 months then once they have contacted us please also follow the process for returning your passport to us:
To return your passport to the VAC. Our commercial partner websites will detail next steps on the relevant geographical pages for each VAC: TLS contact (https://uk.tlscontact.com/ ) if you’re in Europe, Africa and parts of the Middle East VFS global (https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/ ) for all other countries. Please refer to the commercial partner website for your geographical location to obtain further details on the options for returning your passport for a replacement visa, as this may vary depending on your location, and not all Visa Application Centres have reopened. Please submit your passport as soon as possible following the instructions on our commercial partner websites.
