FreeStuffsNG:What kind of Nigerians are being flown home also matter to us citizens of nigeriay. What is coming home to us really matter. There is no sensationalism in it. |
The President Muhammadu Buhari administration has suggested that Saturday’s attack on Muslim travellers who were returning from a religious event in Bauchi, was likely carried out by Christians in what could be a retaliation for clashes in parts of the Plateau State. Speaking in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, on Saturday in Abuja, Buhari who expressed regret for the reported deaths of at least 22 persons with several others injured as a result of the attacks, said the attack was provocative and unwarranted no matter the justification. Shehu said: “It is widely known that Plateau State has been one of the states affected by herder-farmer clashes, which have, in a significant way, been curtailed following the intense peace-building efforts of the administration of Governor Simon Lalong. “However, to be clear, this is not an agriculturalist-on-pastoralist confrontation – but rather a direct, brazen and wickedly motivated attack on members of a community exercising their rights to travel freely and to follow the faith of their choosing. “With the evident preparedness of their attackers, it is clear this was a well-conceived and prearranged assault on a known target, location and religious persuasion of the travellers not an opportunist ambush. “These kinds of attacks on our country’s citizens are unacceptable, heinous, and stand in complete contradiction to the teachings of the great religions of our nation. “The Presidency stands steadfast with both Christians and Muslims at this time in condemnation of this latest attack and expects and insists that justice is swiftly but fairly delivered to the perpetrators.’’ Shehu also quoted President Buhari as saying: “Make no mistake about it: in line with my commitment to protect all Nigerians, I have ordered our security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of this gruesome massacre of innocent travellers and bring them to justice. Fmr Finance Minister: Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. I still find it funny that most people don't know why Nigeria economy went into recession, they love the incompetent lies of Lai Mohammed about the past government ruining everything. It's also myopic to think that if Jonathan were to still be in power, we would be worse off. The truth about Nigeria's recession is this; it was caused by the president's unguided rhetoric and uncultured body language. Firstly, there is nothing we are buying today that we weren't buying 5 years ago, therefore it's not our purchase that put pressure on Naira but withdrawal of funds by foreign investors. After the election, the president created instability with his unguided statements about how everyone is corrupt and how everyone is going to jail. The instability made foreign investors to liquidate their investment and change their money to dollars. In the process of trying to flee, they were willing to buy dollars at any price, which lead to high exchange dollar rate. Even though some of them were not ready to run away, but want their money in dollars to save their investments from devaluation, the president gave a bad signal by banning deposit of foreign currency into dormiciliary accounts. That was enough for free market believers to see the draconian handwriting on the wall, that was the beginning of dollar rush. To make matters worse, the president came up with another outrageous policy of rationing dollar to certain sectors and blocking many sectors out. That was the nail in the coffin which facilitated the emergence of free FALL. In the end, foreign investors took over $80B out of the economy within a short period and everything went down to free fall. To those who believe it will be worse if Jonathan is still there, you are all wrong. Policy continuity and political stability will not let billions of dollars leave our shores within such tiny time frame. Even though the government might have income shortage, the private sector will weather the storm by their confidence in the market. The fear of the unknown created by PMB is responsible for the economic downturn not low oil price. Interest rate in America is currently at 0.5% while it is 12% in Nigeria. JP Morgan Chase will not mind borrowing $50 billion from Feds at 0.5 and put in Nigeria for return of %2000 profit. Citi bank will do the same, likewise US Bank Corp. Chase gave Buhari warning about the repercussions of his fixing policy before they pulled out, but his illiterate cyber warriors and misseducated e-soldiers said JPMORGAN can go to hell, they no longer believe in economic metrics since their messiah is in charge. Funny enough they are all suffering today because of the stupid policy, but they find relief by blaming it on past administration and Gucci appetite of average Nigerians. For your information, if your president "continues" with his unguided rhetoric, Naira will go down to N1000/1 $. But we thank God, he is no longer talking. #Sent as copied |

Some peaceful protesters who were demanding Buhari's return to Nigeria were on Thursday evening challenged by the British police. President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly called police officers in London to prevent Nigerian protesters from gathering in front of the Nigeria House at Trafalgar Square in London, United Kingdom. This was according to report by SaharaReporters. After attending the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025, the Nigerian President stayed behind to see his doctors, even as resident doctors in his country have gone on strike. The police officers were seen speaking with the Nigerian protesters, seemingly persuading them to stop protesting there. Also, more officers were seen arriving in police vans while a Nigerian woman was heard screaming without fear, the demands of the protesters which included the President returning to Nigeria and putting an end to the killings in the West African country. A police officer was heard saying, “The cameras are on. Someone was sticking out last night, you just got lucky,” and when he was asked if he upholds the law, he replied, “I am without fear or favour". One of the female protesters said, “They are killing in our country, they are killing our people, Buhari is here with Boris Johnson and I am surprised that Prime Minister will condone such! Condoning corruption and murder, it is terrible. ”With all the killings in our country he has the audacity to come to this country for healthcare. He keeps embezzling our money and killing people, that's our story. Muhammadu Buhari, the President of Nigeria is a terrorist and we will not back down, we are not violating the law, it is our civic right and we will exercise it. ”Buhari is a murderer. There is no single healthcare in Nigeria, Buhari is still in government for over 6 years, he keeps borrowing, the economy is not good, there is rising inflation. Our Naira has no value. They are kidnapping children and killing our people.” A male protester said, “There's a criminal called Buhari here and what we'd like to do is get him back to the place where he has come from. Here he has no power he would have order us killed! After the police left, a male protester said, “Day 8 of Buhari Watch, we are here in front of Nigerian House here in Central London, Trafalgar Square, where our president is still missing, yes the police have come and they have gone, they know that we are not doing anything illegal, this is the right of the citizens to protest, they were here to protect us. Yes, the police were here to protect us. This is not Nigeria where right of expression is forbidden. “Buhari, your administration has been the worst in the history of Nigeria, that is the only award we can give you and your administration will not get away with the crime you have committed in office. The innocent blood you are shedding daily will continue to cry for justice. "You are hiding in London! Buhari, you are a wicked President, leave the government now. Release Nnamdi Kanu. Release Sunday Igboho now! Release all political prisoners now! Release all freedom fighters now! Go after kidnappers, go after terrorists, go after Boko Haram. Go back to where you came from. Go back to Sambisa forest. |

I did a sweeping reflection on Nigeria entity from amalgamation of the three main component groups of hausa, igbo and yoruba and I came to this conclusion. There has never been a time as this when insecurity aggravated from religious differences to ethnic supremacy in Nigeria. Now insecurity has become a subtle tribal campaign where a tribe threatens other ethnic groups all because one of its own is in power. They have suddenly become a monster plundering lives and causing devastation and endless scars. Only in a lawless country is such a baraface evil is known. It's so sad Nigeria has become one of such country. This is the buhari led administration legacy for Nigerians and it will go down in the history of Nigeria as one of the worst administration ever to rule Nigeria. From east to west, south to north the story is the same except for the brain dead ones. Ex president Jonathan dey learn for where buhari has taken us lol. Jonathan they said, took us to into pit but buhari took us farther; into abyss. Truly buhari has set a new record of bad leadership. He was fighting corruption while right under his nose corruption flourished. This to me is the worst time to be a Nigerian. And some vermins question why there was an nnamdi kanu and sunday igboho uprising! |

We southerners are hell bent on bringing this man down but I pray he overcomes this blackmail and challenges in Jesus name. Amen. Once we see a thriving northerner we get jealous and fabricate nonsense just because we control the media. Just like we unsuccessfully did with Pantami, I believe the holy ghost will surely vindicate Abba Kyari.
