Aderewah: Northerners have more tribes than south. Nope, kanuri, fulani, hausa, tiv etc. But they're one north while we divide ourselves into SW, SE and our individual strengths no matter what can never match up. We have finally learnt what they have been teaching us for so long. No more I am Igbo, I am Yoruba. We are southerners. A confederation of advanced tribes. And we speak with one voice.
Nice one. Supported! The earlier we start thinking like this the better or else the north we take us do suya finish and turn our land to their grazing property where cow will have more right than we human. It's best we become wiser now!
dared0637: Let Buhari be the last of the plagues from the core North that will ever come close to power, and any Southern politician who will go behind out of some blind loyalty to the core North (we know these Southern politicians) to sabotage the interest of the South and Middle belt must be SEVERELY dealt with.
Going forward come 2023, when that lanky dullard fuccks off to his bandit-ravaged home state in Daura, the South must act decisively on the collective mandate of the Southern governors that was agreed today in Lagos that a Southern candidate must be president of Nigeria in 2023, come what may. Personally, I don't even care any more which region in the South the president must come from as long as he's not a Buhari loyalist, cause we know these are the duplicitous elements that will kiss the arse of the North and sabotage the interest of the South... every and any Northern slave regardless of his ethnicity or interest must be treated in the language he understands.
Lastly, the rotation of the presidency must be signed and agreed that after a Southerner finishes his tenure, power must be rotated to a North Central (Middle belt) minority candidate as those ones are not as barbaric and bigoted as the core North, essentially any person(s) from any of the Southern Kaduna, Benue, and other Christian minority tribes from the Middle belt will be president after a Southerner finishes his tenure, and the rotation continues in that order.
If the core sharia Northern states want to unleash war, then let them bring on that war, we've tolerated enough of insults and arrogance from those desert-dwelling savages who are naturally beneath us in all ramifications and indices of life.
chuksahamefule: It was an emotionally laden interview with the father of little miss Success, the 10 year old pupil of Seed Of David International School Aba who was allegedly raped by his teacher whose name was given as Mr. Nathaniel.
In an interview with the News Gazette Online, the father of the little miss Success said that his child who recently turned 10 is in basic 5 and exceptionally brilliant, she takes the first position in her class until all of a sudden she became scared of going to school and sometimes when dressed for school she will start crying and asking if its a must to go to school every day, he told our reporter that he never suspected that anything was wrong until last week after dressing the child up for school the mother came to inform him that the little girl complained that her teacher was sexually abusing her and threatened to kill her if she dares inform anybody.
He immediately took her to the hospital where some tests were conducted and the doctor after examining her said that there was redness in her private part, that it had been damaged, and that the violation was not just once it has been going on for a while.
He said, he returned to the school and met with the teacher Mr. Nathaniel who pleaded and took them to his uncle who promised to offset the medical bills as the proprietor of the school was said to be out of town.
Upon the return of the proprietor Mr. Chibunna Isreal Okoye, he went to complain to the man over the sexual abuse of his 10 year old daughter by her class teacher, rather than show empathy or try to ask the little girl what happened the proprietor stood up in defense of his teacher Mr. Nathaniel insisting that he won’t do such thing, we now asked the child to show us where the teacher used to abuse her, she took us to her class behind a wardrobe and also pointed at the teachers’ chair but he, Mr. Okoye insisted that my daughter was lying against the teacher and told Nathaniel and his uncle not to pay the medical bills as it will amount to acceptance of guilt, he also went ahead to threaten me and my family that he will deal ruthlessly with us if we drag the name of his school into a scandal.
It was at this point that a rights organization headed by Mrs. Jane Ogbauta on hearing the incident moved in and reported the matter to the police area command, the police immediately conducted another test on my daughter in their clinic to confirm the abuse and subsequently arrested the alleged pedophile Mr. Nathaniel, who is currently in police detention.
He also alleged that he is still receiving threats from the proprietor of the school, Mr. Chibunna Isreal Okoye, asking him to withdraw the matter or he will deal with him and his family if the image of his school goes down, he informed The News Gazette Online that the wife of the governor Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu through her foundation had sent a delegation to his family and has taken up the matter.
Juliusmalema: Since 2015 and to this day all I have been hearing is FG strongly and seriously fighting for cows not even humans.
Being an almajiri and not educated can be regarded as a misfortune but been educated and be fighting for cows is like been carelessly and cowly educated.
I said this Sometime in 2016 and I will repeat it again
" I do not approve of anything that tampers with natural Ignorance. The whole system of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately, In Nigeria at any rate , education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did , It would prove a serious danger to the upper classes and probably lead to acts of violence in Nigeria.
namiji2598: Good morning Nigeria Good morning nairaland
I am a northerner, born and raised in the north, I have been to several southern states( SE,SS and SW).
Having been to so many states across Nigeria, here are my points 1. All Nigerian states have almost the same problem, to talk the Koko, there is hunger in Nigeria, I am not here to cause any tribal fight, but in all the places I have been to I have seen people suffering. 2. Security issues: almost the same in all part of Nigeria, fulani herdsmen are still here in the north, just like the way the southern Nigeria are complaining, Boko Haram in the north, unknown gun men in the south. 3. Bad roads, Nigeria generally we lack good roads, though from my view, SE roads are a kinda worst compared to the other parts 4. Unemployment''''' when I see people from south saying there is job here in the north, I laugh, my big brother, spent 8 good years after NYSC with no job, I am currently in my Third year now after service still no job, in Nigeria, it's all abt connection and not where you are coming from 5. Police brutality and violation of human rights: just last two weeks my friend was beaten to pulp by an army personal, for no good reason inside the main market and nothing happens till date, a police man almost shoot me 2 years back in kano among others, so my southern people this things are all over, we are all in the same mess
In this country my humble advice 1. Focus on your Hussle only, this country can never get any better 2. Once you are loaded, leave this shitty country 3. The elite/politicians are all the same, I don't believe any elite means well for the masses, be it MNK, Sunday ighoho, buhari, Garba shehu, our senators, our ministers, or even our so called pastors, all are in for business, dont kill yourself over this people, they are all selfish and greedy people
Just focus on your Hussle and the betterment of your life, help others If you have the means Here are some few post on MNK arrest from some of my northern friends on Facebook
There is no basis for comparison between the north and the south. The north is complicit in its own woes the south is not.
November1857: Where is DSS’ – Nigerians reacts as bandits abduct 13 women along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway
A cross section of Nigerians has reacted to the kidnap of 13 women by bandits suspected to be kidnappers.
DAILY POST reported earlier that the women were kidnapped along Kaduna Birnin Gwari road.
The women, who were on their way to attend a wedding, were said to have been kidnapped between Manini and Udawa town, along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway
Their abduction has stirred reactions from Nigerians who queried the presence of the Department of State Services, DSS and other security agencies at important locations.
According to them, security agencies rather than safeguard lives of Nigerians are hunting activists and the likes of Sunday Igboho.
Here are some comments gathered by DAILY POST from Twitter;
@Olamide “Where are the DSS to arrest the bandits? Sunday Igboho and Kanu are their problems. Fulanization in progress, keep it on.”
@UmeraOzioma “Soldiers, Policemen and DSS are in the south East and South West intimidating innocent citizens while bandits are busy abduction helpless people in the North.”
@JonesUche “I’m ashamed of our security sector. They major on the minor, and minor on the major.”
@Olurops “DSS will not show up to rescue the 13 women abducted?
@Thompson_Tosan “ Where’s the DSS? It’s only Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu they know how to flex their muscles on.”
@Mceentia “It is still in the north and no one is saying anything about it.If it is another state now they’ll deploy air force and army.”
@DedonEndSars “ DSS, Police and Army this is your job and not on innocent protesters.”
@Rizamanathan “ May God help us. They won’t rescue these set of victims and display for praises, It’s Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday own they sabi.Naija na cruise.”
@Collins65 “ It is a welcome development. That is just business “according to Malam el Rufai”.so this is not news. They kidnapped their siblings. They are waiting for their own royalty.”
insidelife22: yes the north na them get we country.
That's why we are problem is our lot because the north only has backwardness to offer. Just listen to their so called elite you ll know that they are not any better in reasoning than illiterate. Elrufai for example.
Thinkfree: Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) 1st Vice President, John Aikpokpo-Martins, Saturday said any President of Nigeria is constitutionally bound to crush secessionists like Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho.
Mr Aikpokpo-Martins said under Nigerian law, self-determination agitations are “simply unconstitutional”.
He faulted secessionists’ claim that agitation for self-determination is a fundamental right, noting that Chapter 4 (fundamental human rights guaranteed provisions) of the 1999 Constitution does not include the right to expressions seeking to divide the country.
The NBA official stated this in his personal capacity in a post on his Facebook page titled, STIRRING THE HORNET’S NEST; THE MENS REA.
He began his post by differentiating between the agitations of a former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo on the one hand, and that by Boko Haram, the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) and Igboho, on the other.
Mr Kanu, the leader of IPOB that is calling for the independence of Biafra from Nigeria, was presented before a federal high court in Abuja last Tuesday, days after his arrest at an undisclosed location abroad.
A team of joint security operatives invaded Mr Igboho’s house in Soka, Ibadan, capital of Oyo State around 1an last Thursday, barely 72 hours to his plan to hold a rally in Lagos to further canvas for the Yoruba nation.
Defending the government’s actions “strictly based on the law”, Aikpokpo-Martins said: “Let it be known that there is a major difference in the agitation of the Niger Delta militants as led by Tompolo etc to the agitations of Boko Haram, IPOB and Sunday Igboho.
“Tompolo never agitated for a different country; this is very very significant and must reflect on how he is treated.
“Whereas Boko Haram, IPOB and Sunday Igboho are agitating to carve different countries out of Nigeria, Tompolo never did that; he is a Nigerian and advocates for justice and equity albeit as a Nigerian and in Nigeria.
“Constitutionally, no President (whether he is a Buhari, Nnamdi, Babatunde, Ahmed, Osahon, Wike, Aper etc) worth his job will treat those agitating for self-determination with kid’s gloves; he is constitutionally and legally mandated and obliged to crush such people.
“You may mouth fundamental human rights to self-determination etc, but the fact is, the Nigerian constitution described Nigeria as one indivisible country; see section 2(1) of the 1999 constitution.”
He explained that Buhari took an oath to defend the constitution, “so how can a President who swore to defend the constitution which contained a clause providing for the indivisibility of the country turn around to condone agitations for self-determination whether by peaceful and or violent agitations, when such agitations are directed at the core of the validity/legitimacy of the constitution he swore to defend?” According to him, such agitations are “simply unconstitutional and the President is constitutionally bound to crush same.”
He contended further that Chapter 4 (fundamental human rights guaranteed provisions) of the constitution that many rely on to defend protests, agitations and rallies to demand for a division of Nigeria into different countries “did not guarantee such expressions when such expressions or assemblages are directed at the validity and/or legitimacy of the constitution itself ie seeking a divisible Nigeria!
bolaayenimo: We were looking forward to seeing our hero, Sunday Igboho Oosa in Lagos today but he disappointed us by not showing up. Also, we didn't see the likes of Fani-Kayode and Prof. Banji Akintoye who were singing Yoruba nation in the media
HONESTFACT101: are you not an heediot people who have tasted sugar have told you to manage salt but no you are happy with the sand you are currently chewing......signing out✈
Finish am now! They are now chewing grass like animal
Kingzy4real: There is an ongoing rally in UK between Biafra and Oduduwa nation agitators as they joined forces together to make there voice heard in there cause.
Waoh! I m so emotional right now. I proud to be a southerner. I m proud of the agitators both ibos and yoruba! They are holding protest unmolested by the host country. Imagine!
BJanta: At least they are there. How many of your Lilly-livered, yellow-spined sissy men can come out openly to march in support of your IPOB , talkless of women. Are you not sensible enough to see the death and the interment of Biafra? Even Ohanaeze , the decapitated old hunting dogs, have learnt wisdom and stopped their senseless barking and joined other Igbo leaders to war against Biafra. Is it not an Igbo man ,Geoffrey Onyeama , Buhari's minister of foreign affairs ,that masterminded the abduction of Kanu from foreign land? But Yoruba Nation is still there, kicking in the streets. Even woman are there with them despite the frightening warning of the police and Buhari's recent madness. Igbo man will die of envy and frustration!
Bros igbos are not the enemy now! It's the Fulani messing with our intelligence
Monogamy: If the state governors, senators, house of reps members, state assembly had performed their responsibility, no one would be blaming Buhari.
So Ondo state could pass anti grazing law, supported by both state assembly and court.. what are the affected states waiting for? For Buhari to come and do it for them?
You are not to be taken serious because you are an illiterate
That's my opinion which you are not in any position to question as I have not been question yours..
So I should allow a guy like Igboho to misled my people? I should allow him to cause confusion and chaos all in the name of Oduduwa, abi no be same Igboho that campaigned for Pdp in the last election..
So shut up
You that is better you don't even have anything to offer your so called tribe to protect them yet you come here to demean igboho. Judas like you plenty we know.
That's my opinion which you are not in any position to question as I have not been question yours..
So I should allow a guy like Igboho to misled my people? I should allow him to cause confusion and chaos all in the name of Oduduwa, abi no be same Igboho that campaigned for Pdp in the last election..
So shut up
If buhari had been more responsible there would have been no need for any igboho abeg! Igboho is just a voice of a popular agitation.
PeaceJoyLove: The pictures of those women in the front page is scary. They will definitely make idol worshipping the main focus of the yoruba nation. Rubbish over rubbish. Dead on arrival. Rubbish.
HIPROFILE: But before you people voted in Buhari just because of the then mouth watering gift of Vice presidency and a promise to return power to the yoruba come 2023 You the yoruba nation refused to listen to the Igbos who saw far ahead what was about to befall all of us you called the Igbos all manner of names Including your elites thinking you were wise. MNK warned and said it clear about all that is happening now but you guys mocked him and even celebrated when the Fulani led Administration invaded his house. You called him coward for running for his life so he can fight for another day which is a simple wisdom
Now see how the menace from the fulani has left your people I guess now you can understand that your elites and leaders does not care about you but about the power they seek and as far as their love ones are good
Igbos never hated you they only hate the fact that you are always easily conned and deceived by the antics of the Fulani at any slight chance.
If you go through the history and also ask questions from your elders who were there after the civil war You will get to understand that most of the yoruba men returned the Igbo mans properties to them and some even kept money for some of the igbo traders and returned it back to them after the war If there were no love and understanding between then that kind of gesture would not have happened. All these hate most often displayed on social media came from all these new generational kids who does not know anything and never want to know or ask questions to know.
You are a kid stop spewing what you don't know. This is not a time to be holier than thou. For the avoidance of doubt go and check history to educate your self properly. Why do you think the two first vice president in Nigeria are ibos? But right now we have realise their divide and rule game!
