interpretation of ”School Certificate level or its equivalent can be found in the Constitution under part IV, Section 318. In that Section, a ”School Certificate or ot equivalent” is defined quite succinctly thus:
(a) A Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, Grade II Teacher’s Certificate, the City and Guilds Certificate; or
(b) Education up to Secondary School Certificate Level; or
( c) Primary Six School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent.
Thank you for this piece of information.
The recommendations letter from Buhari's School Principal dated 1961 is a vital proof that he truly attended a Secondary School as in item (b) above and thus he is qualified to contest.

Can you modify and paste the full army press statement on the original post?

Because quite a no of people do not understand the implications here.

The army states at the point of enlistment he, Buhari came with a recommendation letter from his principal.

Without a Certificate.

Nevertheless on the Nigerian Army Entry form after commission as an officer he indicated he obtained a Wassc certificate with credits in 5 subjects and one pass.

There were no proofs that he's Certificate was verified.

Neither the Original copy, or True certified copy are in his personal file.

The Question is where is this Certificate or the Copy?

This is a Test for True Nigerians against Corruption, Nepotism, and Tribalism etc

The path of integrity for the Gen is to prove that, he indeed has this certificate he has used to attain so much from the Nigerian state.

And to dis abuse my mind, that he is a beneficiary of Lies, Cheating, Mismanagement, Nepotism and Man know Man, to get his way to being not only a General, but my Former head of state and on his way to becoming my President.

APC do the needfull please.

Thank you.
What needful are you begging APC to do? Just go to Court, let PDP challenge Buhari at a Court of law. This will be in the best interest of all. All this noise cannot do it.

Bro this report is true. I was in second service yesterday when Papa (Bishop Oyedepo) asked people to lay their PVC on the floor to pray against War n Violence during the coming election. You dont need a soothsayer to tell you which direction Papa is asking people to Vote. Caping up the prayers, Papa specifically said no Islamic Jihadist will become the President in this nation, surreptitiously telling people who to vote for or against. He even asked rhetorically that, can you dethrone Jesus? I wonder who he was refering to as 'JESUS' GEJ my foot. But am happy with peoples' reaction. Immediately Papa called for PVC to be laid on the floor, many people started leaving the church Auditorium and I know that is enough message for the leadership of the church.
No Pastor can change my mind on this. If this is what my Bishop wants to devote the Pulpit to right now, this 21 days fasting and prayer season, am sorry he has failed already. this is a lost battle. Why? I expect a discerning man like him to even know that the so called GEJ is not a Christian.

Who's pro Jonathan? I'm just trying to be objective. If we'd allowed the government continue with the deregulation of the downstream sector of the oil industry in 2012, we'd be enjoying N50 or even N40 fuel now. 3years on and we still don't have functional refineries, petrol is still expensive at N87 (when the rest of the world is enjoying cheaper fuel) and there's still subsidy corruption. So with the benefit of hindsight, who was right and who was wrong?
I'm sorry for referring to you as pro-jonathan.

You're using both ends of the same stick to crucify Jonathan. When he wanted to remove the subsidy to encourage investors to build refineries and abolish the corruption in the petrol subsidy scheme, you refused. But now that the price of oil has gone down worldwide and we can't enjoy the benefits cos we still don't have any refineries, you want to crucify Jonathan again. You have to decide on exactly what you want.
Did you just say abolish corruption?! Who? Gej?! He no fit, why couldn't he try to probe one, just ONE out of various other corrupt incidents that plague his administration like leprosy? Why is it always the subsidy palaver you Pro-jonathan refer to, and by the way who stops him from doing his job? The guy is a failure, an excuse specialist that is surrounded by incompetent opportunists engaging in a trial and error form of governance.

@ OP
This comparison won't work on so many levels. Consider certain things 'peculiar' to Nigeria mostly because of the level of rot in the system.

1. Is quality of gasoline in Nigeria the same with what they get in the U.S? No

2. What's the earning power of an average individual in each country?

3. What's the level of development in each country? Don't forget that almost every family is it's own 'local government' in Nigeria. U practically have to produce your own water and electricity amongst other things.

4. Is the level of infrastructure in the oil and gas sector commensurate with the level of resources available in Nigeria?

5. Are Nigerians getting the best out of a liter of gasoline like the Americans? Not with the level of older engines running in the country and the substandard quality of fuel definitely.

6. Is the current level of oil production in the U.S sustainable over a long period of time? I doubt it. Shale oil / fracturing is one of the major reasons why certain OPEC member-states (chiefly KSA and Qatar) have allowed the free fall of crude oil prices to continue unchecked. When you consider these two countries are also strong allies of the U.S, you see it's quite a complex situation. Just this past week, John McCain led a delegation to Qatar to discuss certain issues with the Emir and Prime Minister. I bet the politics of crude oil pricing was part of their major talks.

These are just some of the things to consider (amongst many others) before you 'celebrate' the reduction in fuel prices in Nigeria. If our leaders are honest, there's no reason why Nigerians should be paying above 50 naira per liter worst case scenario. Factor in the timing of the Nigerian government in doing this and it's very obvious it shouldn't be considered as a genuine decision. They devalued the Naira and then reduce fuel pump price by 10 naira days to major elections. Nigerians should brace up for serious economic challenges this year because the government is just window-dressing a very terrible wound. Irrespective of whoever wins the coming elections, the Naira is still heading downwards. Figures alone don't always tell the true story of things.
Well said, thanks.
Imagine! "Don't forget that almost every family is its own 'local government' in Nigeria."

one barrel of crude oil is now below 50$

One barrel of crude if refine is equivalent to 150 liters of fuel.

Do the maths

Why can't we own a refinery?

If we refine this crude oil in nigeria there will be no need spending money for imported fuel.

We could simply buy locally refine fuel for 20naira.

Oil thefts steals 400,000 barrel per day.

And nigeria only need free 250,000 barrel per days to power our economy, but only few people enrich themselves with GEJ.

This will only make us to spend for refining cost and by then it will be around 10naira if crude oil is free.

This will make our economy more stronger and the poor will feel the impact of a government. No robbery and kidnapping.

to power electricity and the whole nigeria economy is 250,000 a day. Oil thefts steals 400,000 per day.

Jonathan failed nigerians

2). Ensure Nigeria is economically
destitute and unable to spend on warfare:
thus the unprecedented looting of the
treasury, resulting in our current
vulnerability. Okonjo Iweala is not
'coordinating' for nothing.
3). Is the military takeover of our coastal

the coastal waterways protection contract
with Government Tompolo was designed
to guarantee. Let no one be deceived, less
than 0.5% of our military, (including naval

wanted for killing our soldiers now
effectively taking over the duties of our

Where is all the money coming from? Do

NIGERIANS.
JONATHAN has never been able to rise to
fill the position of the NIGERIAN
Presidency, he acts like an ethnic war lord
and at the rate he is going he is going to
push us into the path of Liberian and
Sierra Leone, while silly people are busy
cheering him on.
I have taken it upon myself to write a
letter of complaint and warning to the
United Nations Secretary General to pay
attention to what JONATHAN and his
cohorts are doing in Nigeria, seemingly
pushing the country closer to a violent
ethnic crisis.
This crisis would consume the entire
African continent if not checked.
This morning I received this in my in box,
and I couldn't help but shudder that we
are dealing with really devious human
beings who have mistakenly found
themselves in power. Their attitude and
body language says it all:
"I'm really amused that we are all
screaming murder years after the deed
was done? It's well over 3 years that I
have been screaming the overall plans
and strategies of the south-south vs the
behemoth Nigeria, i.e, their eventual
emancipation! For the sake of many who
have not read or few who have taken
these posts as scare mongering by
Oyenuga Lanre Paul, I'll re summarise
them here. To free their region of the
shackles of endless exploitation and
domination by the rest of Nigeria, the
south-south decided as follow:
1). Cripple the Nigerian Army's capacities
to engage in sustained warfare: thus the
encouragement of BH and decimation of
the army's hardware and personnel.
2). Ensure Nigeria is economically
destitute and unable to spend on warfare:
thus the unprecedented looting of the
treasury, resulting in our current
vulnerability. Okonjo Iweala is not
'coordinating' for nothing.
3). Is the military takeover of our coastal
waters by the south-south, which is what
the coastal waterways protection contract
with Government Tompolo was designed
to guarantee. Let no one be deceived, less
than 0.5% of our military, (including naval
and air force) personnel can swim in an 8
foot deep pool, not to mention a river or
coastal waters. Thus, how do you engage
these toughened militia in their coastal
waters, when we couldn't tackle BH in
plain view?
4th). Is the intense frustrations of the oil
producing companies by the south
southerners nouveau-riche to hand over
the onshore production bases to them by
forced sale or outright disruption of their
operations. As we chat here, 70% of the
onshore operations have been sold off by
the major players like shell, Mobil, etc.
As well as the training of ex militants as
pilots under amnesty Anyone doubting
my claims of warning about these can
browse through my timeline.
IF THE SOUTH-SOUTH PULLS OUT TODAY,
WE ARE SITTING DUCKS! The South-East
are tagging along with the south-south,
for obvious reasons and I don't blame
them!
The choice of Buhari is due to these
calculations by our rulers in the South-
West and the core North. Unless I'm
paranoid, we have a scary situation
ahead. I moved my family out as far back
as 2011, based on this concerns.
GEJ will very likely lose the elections in
2015, but the south-south will keep their
oil. Can we afford a war with a region
sitting on oil? Do we have a military
capable of delivering our goal? Would it
not be cheaper to renegotiate our
federation?
Or, would it be another Rehoboamic

Our president is getting tired, the position he occupies is not attractive to him any longer, he is becoming home sick by the day. He really wants to leave so he could go and enjoy his loot peacefully but some very powerful group of people benefiting immensely from his government don't want this. Gej go home, you've tried. Go and rest.

RE: NIGER DELTA READY FOR WAR!!!
You are free to share
Forwarded as received
I was in conversation with a United Nation
official yesterday and we were talking
about the acquisition of warships by
ethnic militant Tompolo, in a country
were our brave soldiers are being starved
off equipment. He told me point blank
that in every major conflict he has
assessed or being involved in as a UN
official it all started with one fellow
choosing to ARM an ETHNIC MILITIA as
against the national army of the country,
sometimes deliberately depleting the
army before the violence starts.
I first got reports of Niger Delta militant
Asari Dokubo buying military helicopters
and hardware from diplomatic
intelligence sources about 2 years ago.
Shortly after that he was arrested in Benin
Republic but released upon the
intervention of our government. What I
can see is very clear, JONATHAN is
leading an effort to create an alternate
military force in the Niger Delta to force
the hands of the generality of NIGERIANS
when the time comes. How else can one
explain Tompolo a man once declared
wanted for killing our soldiers now
effectively taking over the duties of our
navy?
Where is all the money coming from? Do
you think the arms are being bought for
boat parade or regatta? No they are to kill
NIGERIANS.
JONATHAN has never been able to rise to
fill the position of the NIGERIAN
Presidency, he acts like an ethnic war lord
and at the rate he is going he is going to
push us into the path of Liberian and
Sierra Leone, while silly people are busy
cheering him on.
I have taken it upon myself to write a
letter of complaint and warning to the
United Nations Secretary General to pay
attention to what JONATHAN and his
cohorts are doing in Nigeria, seemingly
pushing the country closer to a violent
ethnic crisis.
This crisis would consume the entire
African continent if not checked.
This morning I received this in my in box,
and I couldn't help but shudder that we
are dealing with really devious human
beings who have mistakenly found
themselves in power. Their attitude and
body language says it all:
"I'm really amused that we are all
screaming murder years after the deed
was done? It's well over 3 years that I
have been screaming the overall plans
and strategies of the south-south vs the
behemoth Nigeria, i.e, their eventual
emancipation! For the sake of many who
have not read or few who have taken
these posts as scare mongering by
Oyenuga Lanre Paul, I'll re summarise
them here. To free their region of the
shackles of endless exploitation and
domination by the rest of Nigeria, the
south-south decided as follow:
1). Cripple the Nigerian Army's capacities
to engage in sustained warfare: thus the
encouragement of BH and decimation of
the army's hardware and personnel.
2). Ensure Nigeria is economically
destitute and unable to spend on warfare:
thus the unprecedented looting of the
treasury, resulting in our current
vulnerability. Okonjo Iweala is not
'coordinating' for nothing.
3). Is the military takeover of our coastal
waters by the south-south, which is what
the coastal waterways protection contract
with Government Tompolo was designed
to guarantee. Let no one be deceived, less
than 0.5% of our military, (including naval
and air force) personnel can swim in an 8
foot deep pool, not to mention a river or
coastal waters. Thus, how do you engage
these toughened militia in their coastal
waters, when we couldn't tackle BH in
plain view?
4th). Is the intense frustrations of the oil
producing companies by the south
southerners nouveau-riche to hand over
the onshore production bases to them by
forced sale or outright disruption of their
operations. As we chat here, 70% of the
onshore operations have been sold off by
the major players like shell, Mobil, etc.
As well as the training of ex militants as
pilots under amnesty Anyone doubting
my claims of warning about these can
browse through my timeline.
IF THE SOUTH-SOUTH PULLS OUT TODAY,
WE ARE SITTING DUCKS! The South-East
are tagging along with the south-south,
for obvious reasons and I don't blame
them!
The choice of Buhari is due to these
calculations by our rulers in the South-
West and the core North. Unless I'm
paranoid, we have a scary situation
ahead. I moved my family out as far back
as 2011, based on this concerns.
GEJ will very likely lose the elections in
2015, but the south-south will keep their
oil. Can we afford a war with a region
sitting on oil? Do we have a military
capable of delivering our goal? Would it
not be cheaper to renegotiate our
federation?
Or, would it be another Rehoboamic
declaration of "To your tents o Israel"?
GEJ ain't clueless, he's merely troubled by
the plots he's a key player in?

Sant1m:
the dredging of river Niger is a different project with its own contract sum, the bridge is over inflated just to make us pay for it for 25yrs, are you telling me the igbos don't deserve a complete govt. Funded bridge, must the private sector be brought in to contribute and recoup their money for 25yrs, before Gej's govt can give us a bridge. What i hate about it is the pretence as if it is a favour igbos will not pay for
Excuse me, why do they need the bridge? No one needs the bridge all we want is biafra. Gej is not clueless after all. Gej till 2099.

Rail in 1985? To where? I went to Kaduna and Kano with Chidebere bus because rail was dead. Tell us where you travelled to with train in 1985. Moreover, Buhari cancelled Lagos metro line because of selfishness, yet paid cancellation fee that was more the funding required to finance the project. Go to big cities like London, Toronto, etc, train/tube is their main means of mass movement. Now Fashola is struggling to build an equivalent of what City council does in other climes and you shout " Lagos is working".
I don't like engaging people on nairaland but you ought to believe me by mere reading my quotation from a holy book and I repeat "Woe unto the liars". I regularly took NRC trains coming from Iddo (Lagos) on their way to the North from Ibadan terminus to Oshogbo in 1985 after Buhari's regime.
