With great joy in my heart I announce the birth of my lovely yellow pawpaw son through CS on 10th of October. Really the devil tried but I have a God who is a faithful Finisher. I'm forever grateful to Him cos He alone did it.

I use the same set of bottles and tip. I wash with warm water and soap. Rinse very very well. Put all inside a bowl already filled with hot water. Then cover up. Thats all i do ma'am

OMG! Where did you get the similac nipples from ? I have been needing it like oxygen as my LO only accepts that nipple. I was using the microwave sterilizing unit with it but was advised to boil the bottles and nipples after she came down with an infection. Boiling it works well as they have withstood a year of rigorous use.

a friend got it from the US for me

goodevening mamas.pls any mum that has used this before should pls educate me on how she sterilise it, because it seems like lo doesn't get satisfied from sucking directly so I want to express and use this to feed him.pls it is urgent as I want to start using it immediately

Get a plastic cup that is BPA free. Many of the popular baby product brands usually have their plastic products bpa free1.
If it is a proper-ish cup you want you can get either the doidy cup by bickiepegs or munchkin have a miracle cup that you can unscrew the cover and use as a normal cup. And when you want , leave the cover on for baby to use by him/ herself

good afternoon mamas. pls help a ftm.my baby sucks a lot lately and I try to express sometimes so he sleeps longer.I use a stainless cup and spoon but of late I discovered that the cup has rust despite keeping it clean and since I don't use it all the time,I decided to get a plastic cup which Is free from rust. but I remember been told in the hospital not to use plastic cup as it is not good for the baby.he is 2months old. should I use the plastic cup or still get another stainless cup. pls don't read and pass.

Good evening mamas please is it normal that my tummy is reducing? Like I don't even look like I'm in my 8th month of pregnancy. My tummy was bigger than this but now it's reducing. I fell really hard on Tuesday and I even scratched my hand and leg but my baby has been kicking since then but I didn't go to the hospital because I have anc on Wednesday next week. I fell menstrual cramps, like sharp pains under my lower abdomen and my back is nothing to right home about.

I think your baby has droped in preparation. because your tummy would look smaller when the baby drops

Sis, it wasn't looking that big oh but I also didn't get a flat tummy after delivery. I guess its because I didn't get to tie the tummy judiciously when my doctor gave me the go ahead to start tying which was around 3 weeks post partum. I also didn't have anyone to do omugwo for me and as such, I rarely took the uda water that will aid the flat tummy

Make sure baby is latching properly.
Put the whole areola inside his mouth


N.ipple shield is good. It will ease the pain and your baby can still suck directly from your breast in future. Your tips will heal as you use the tip shield

Are you sure baby is latching correctly. Make sure the whole black part of your breast is in the baby's mouth not just the niple. I never used niple shield but I read here that it helps

I have tried that too.I wish you could see me breastfeeding.how I try to put even the black part in his mouth it only gets better when he has sucked for a while.I have also tried to hold his head to the nipples so that he gets the whole of it.it is even worst.he sucks with so much energy and when I try to remove the nipple to see if he is not properly positioned so I could reposition him,he will grab it even harder

mummy jazzyjazz and all mummies that used nipple shield pls come my aid. my nipples are still sore and painful after one month of delivery.I have applied breastmilk around the tips and try to pull nipple out before baby sucks all to no avail.I have asked my hubby to get me nipple shield.am I on the right track? will it prevent baby from sucking my nipples directly in future? will my tips heal when I use it? pls don't read and pass.I cry each time I breastfeed

continue ma,he will come around eventually.mine lasted up to a mth,it was so bad dAT dh used to massage my back cos of pains while trying to make him latch on,we even visited the hospital where the paed examined his mouth and my tips then told me that he'd come around.just persevere...

good evening mamas. pls help a troubled first time mum. my baby is a week + old but cannot latch verywell .initially,he was able to latch without difficulties until he had colic which I believe is gone now..he is no longer able to latch, whenever I put him to my breast,he takes the nipple in but is not able to suck hard.then he starts crying until I express and feed him from a cup because he will keep crying so hard and I can't bear to see him cry like that cause of hunger .someone said I shouldn't let him go hungry for long before feeding I have tried it and he still cries as he is not able to suck hard. I am worried that he might get used to cup and spoon and not be able to latch later in the future except from a cup and spoon. I have enough milk supply,my nipple is also soft and pointed.I need help on how to make him suck. I have browsed the internet and tried all possible solutions all to no avail. I need to establish breastfeeding again

so i was taken to the labour room and given pitocin.I was asked to lie on my left see pain ewo.I was like that till 4hour later I was checked again and was 6cm.I was just praying the doc came back 4hours later and I was still 6cm. he said I am not progressing despite giving me two pitocin drip. he said he would have to remove the baby through cs before the baby gets distressed. meanwhile the baby was no longer cephalic he had turned so it was difficult for him to engage into the birth canal.he called his colleague who came and broke my water. then the pain just intensified. I almost cried.after an hour, the doctor came and said I have to be wheeled to the theatre to save me and my baby.I just stood up and started following him to the theatre.I was giving spinal kiniko(dunno how to spell it) then they tore me and I heard my baby cry immediately.I was just thanking God I couldn't belive it.I just turned my head to watch my baby cleaned while the sewed me up.he was taken to my husband outside and I was carried out of the theatre . baby was given Nan.I was shivering cos of the injections(so they said)./baby weighed 4kg. thank God for his mercies. cappo Phlakkeys wehdone ma.

lemme kuku tell the story.so I started having contractions on and of for about 3days.I was already tired at 37weeks but didn't want to give birth just yet make my baby bake.but I was exercising taking long walks and climbing stairs. which made me have on pelvic pain and contractions which wouldn't let me sleep. so I made zobo and drank on 15 and 16th morning.I was also speaking to my cervix everyday.so that 16th I was having slight contractions till in the night meanwhile,I didn't go for antenatal that day so I asked my husband to take me to the hospital to get checked.even if I would be sent back no problem. when we got to the hospital, the doctor did a VE (very painful thing chai)I almost cried.he said my cervix I far but I am 4cm and would be taken to the labour ward shortly. ghan!! ghan!! ghan!! ghan!! I didn't expect that I was in labour.I was expecting to be sent back home

To the glory of God , I welcome my Prince Charming at 40 +1 weeks on Thursday 6th July @about 10.35pm through VD with small perineum episiotomy (about 2 stitches) weighing 5.04kg as against estimated weight of 3.7kg from scan as at last Friday.

I bless the name of God for this beautiful testimony and this shall go round for the remaining waddling mothers in Jesus name .

present @ cappo Phlakkeys. still struggling with my bigi belle and doing long troat up and down. doctor says my baby weighs 4kg already at 35 weeks.I dnt have gestational diabetes ohh.I don't believe him sha.even if the baby is 10kg I go born am no shaking. I have been trying to diet but cannot come and kee maself I have to eat so my baby can see food to eat.I eat healthy though.no junk and no fried food I take plenty of fruits too. my phone hasn't stopped ringing as everyone keeps calling to ask if I hav dropped yet.
