The Tennessean newspaper in Nashville is investigating how it came to print a full-page advertisement Sunday by a fringe biblical prophecy group that claimed 'Islam' is set to detonate a nuclear bomb in the city.

The ad, which featured pictures of Donald Trump, Pope Francis, and burning US flags, was credited to the Ministry of Future of America - a group that claims its mission is to 'proclaim the final warning message' from the Bible.

Titled 'Dear Citizen of Nashville', the lengthy 'prophecy' features several paragraphs of anti-Muslim rhetoric claiming that the Bible predicts Islam’s role is to bring 'all men on planet earth together to combat them.'

It also stated that Trump would be the 'last president of the US', warned there would be 'another civil war', and said that 'Islam is going to detonate a nuclear device' in Nashville on July 18.

The bizarre prolix also made mention of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Democratic Party and the 2001 September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center buildings.

Yes, as a commanding officer I once caught a 1st Lt dating an E4 (Sergeant) both within my command. I had to counsel the Lt and explain to her that this was unacceptable. The funny thing is you could marry an enlisted member, but you could not date them. They both requested ten days leave and knew what they planed on doing and by rights I should have denied their leave, but I did not. This is where as a commander you have to bend the rules in order to do what is right for members of your command. When they returned, they were Husband and Wife. And this led to another issue; he could not report to his wife. So, I had to reassign him to another branch within the squadron. My Commanding officer was upset with me for allowing them the opportunity to get married. However, it was my opinion that these two were in love and if I had not allowed them the leave they would have gotten in trouble for fraternization and that might have ruined the officer’s career, she was an Air Force Academy Graduate. This is an example of me being prior enlisted and understanding their situation. Although my commander did not appreciate my decision he nonetheless supported it in the end.

South Korea became more or less prosperous (its actually debatable, since their elderly people in general are as poor as in the least developed countries living on less than 1 dollar per day), only because of implemented Marshal plan, to keep the country out of communist hands and create a stable base for US against Soviet Union as well as China. South America never was on the frontline because of far proximity from the main frontline with Russia, and never received support similar as West Germany and Korea received during the Marshall plan. And nevertheless since Korea and Taiwan for a long time were occupied by Japan their population were educated accordingly to Japanese standards and cultural values, it helped them significantly to restore the economy after the war in a quick pace, because the main resource, educated people, were still pretty much alive and well being after the war. I’ll focus on South Korea because their story is even more dramatic than Japan’s, although both countries employed a very similar strategy.

South Korea literally rose from the ashes to become one of the richest countries in the world today. In 1955 their per-capita GDP was $64; today it’s around $30,000, an increase of almost 500-FOLD.

How?

The answer lies with the chaebols, family-run conglomerates that dominate the South Korean economy. In the U.S. and Europe we’re all familiar with Samsung phones and Hyundai cars, but within S. Korea itself these companies reach into every corner of day-to-day life.

Let’s look at Samsung, the most famous chaebol that makes up almost 15% of South Korea’s economy.

You can get a university degree at Samsung-affiliated Sungkyunkwan University, then get a job at Samsung and move into your new apartment at Samsung Tower Palace which is equipped with a Samsung-manufactured home security system, air conditioner, TV, refrigerator, oven and microwave. When you get sick you can get treated at Samsung Medical Center in the Gangnam district. When you want to get married you can do so at a Samsung-owned venue, and when it’s time to retire you can go to a Samsung retirement home. When your time is up, your funeral arrangements can be handled by a Samsung funeral parlor.

The chaebols expanded their influence during the Park Chung-hee era. Park was a military dictator who ruled South Korea from 1961 until his assassination in 1979. The companies were designated for special treatment by the government in order to jump start industrialization and modernize South Korea’s economy. A number of strategies were employed: the firms were protected from foreign competition through tariffs, and given loan guarantees which enabled them to invest and build new factories. Government economic policy favored exports in order to gain foreign capital for further investment. Over time, repeated investment enabled the chaebols to move up the value-added chain, producing more complex, sophisticated products that enabled these companies to then compete directly with their American and European competitors.

You can see this most easily with cars. Early Korean imports from Hyundai and Kia were in the low-end segments of the market, compacts and mid-sized sedans. An obsessive focus on reliability enabled them to gain new customers, and supply chain efficiency made them profitable in a low-margin segment of the market. As they got better they started to compete in the more profitable, upper end of the market: SUV’s, luxury sedans and hybrids.

This symbiotic relationship between government and business, coupled with the insane work ethic of the Korean people, is what transformed South Korea into the country we know today. The U.S. contribution to this was military. By providing protection through the U.S. / South Korea Mutual Defense Treaty, South Korea was given protection from external threats that provided the stability needed for the country to develop. But the bulk of the credit has to go to the Korean people and their leaders, including Park, a brutal dictator who nevertheless set the stage for the remarkable rise of the chaebols.

Bottom line: the nations of South America have not done as well in marshaling their people and resources. Poor political leadership, lack of coherent strategy in economic policy, corruption, the drug trade, a lack of resources devoted to education are all factors that come into play. Compare this to South Korea: ALL of South Korean society, beginning in the 1950’s, focused like a laser beam on one goal, creating a prosperous society. The nations of South America…didn’t.

There are downsides to the Korean strategy that are causing a great deal of suffering among her people, which is why many young S. Koreans refer to their country as “Hell Joseon” (Joseon was an ancient dynasty that ruled the Korean peninsula until the late 19th century). The competitive pressures of South Korean society have created one of the highest suicide rates in the world and a rate of poverty among the elderly of almost 50%.

So while the people of South America may not be as materially prosperous, they don’t live in a pressure cooker society where everyone is constantly being pushed to succeed and looked down upon if they don’t.

Transforming into a Life-Giving Spirit

As a Christian fills his soul with the oil of God (living water) and feeds his soul with the bread of life, the soul grows. It becomes easy for the Christian to manifest as a son of God as the soul operates the divine power. It becomes easy for the Christian to depend solely on the Spirit for every need, since the divine power is able to provide everything necessary for life and godliness. The Christian stops relying on the world for sustenance of life on earth. The Christian is able to give life to other people, causing miraculous healings and even raising of the dead.

As this process continues, at God’s appointed time, the mortal or fleshly part of the Christian will be swallowed up by immortality. The fleshly body that houses the soul will dissolve and be replaced by a spiritual body.

Can man access the Tree of Life again?

God created a pattern for the ancient Israelites that shows the way to the tree of life. In that pattern, the ark inside the inner room of the tabernacle, called the Most Holy Place, represented where the tree of life or the presence of God was. Three things were inside the ark: the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant. The gold jar of manna represented the fruit of the tree of life, which is what the human soul needs to eat in order to grow up into the fullness of God. In order to qualify to receive the fruit of the tree of life, man must abide by the terms of the covenant and must come through the High Priest recognized by God. In the old covenant, the High Priest was Aaron; in the new covenant, the High Priest is Jesus Christ.

In the outer room of the tabernacle, called the Holy Place, were the lampstand, the table and the consecrated bread and then the golden altar of incense. The priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry. In the new covenant, every person that is in Christ is a priest of God (Re. 5:10). The contents of the outer room of the tabernacle represent what the daily life of a Christian must contain in order to qualify to feed on the fruit of the tree of life.

The lampstand shows that the Christian must be the light of the world (Mt. 5:14-16). God supplies the oil (Holy Spirit) for the lampstand (the Christian), as the Christian pays for it. The price the Christian pays for the oil is to keep the oil always burning—that is shining forth the light through good deeds (love). As the Parable of the Talent (Mt. 25:14-30) tells us, the more we invest the talent (Holy Spirit) that God has given us, by shining forth the light, the talent multiplies (more oil—greater measure of the Spirit).

Mt. 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Mt. 25:1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Mt. 25:2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
Mt. 25:3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
Mt. 25:4 The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.

The consecrated bread placed on its table shows that the Christian should regularly present bread or food to God. The Christian then receives bread of life (fruit of the tree of life) from God that is of the same measure as the bread presented to God by the Christian. The bread that a Christian presents to God is to always minister the word of God to people both by preaching it and by being a living epistle (Jn. 4:34).

John 6:27 (NIV) Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.

The golden altar of incense represents prayers, praises, thanksgiving and worship by the Christian (Re. 5:. The soul that wants to feed on the fruit of the tree of life must be contributing incense, which the High Priest offers to God.

He. 10:19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,
He. 10:20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,
He. 10:21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
He. 10:22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

In the new covenant, Jesus Christ, our High Priest, has entered the real Most Holy Place (heaven) by his own blood. We can join him in entering the Most Holy Place by being baptized into him in water and in the Spirit. We abide in Christ by daily carrying out our priestly duties.

In the Beginning of Mankind

God first of all made man to be a highly ‘evolved’ mammal. Then God decided to make man in His image. Making man in God’s image involved God breathing into man His Holy Spirit. Man immediately became a living soul. The soul of man is from heaven. “Living soul” implies that the soul of man could grow in capacity, growing towards being equal to the capacity of God Himself. This immediately tripped one third of God’s angels, led by Lucifer. They were greatly opposed to what God had turned man into; man could rise above the capacity of angels. God did not create scalability in angels, but did so in man. Even though when man became a living soul, man was a little lower in capacity than the lowest-capacity angel (Ps. 8:5), the soul of man could grow to be greater than the highest-capacity angel (He. 2:9).

Ge. 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;
Ge. 2:17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.”

Incidentally, there is a condition attached to the growth of the soul of man. Man must serve God; which means that man must be committed to doing the will of God. Shortly after God made man a living soul, God presented His will to man: “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” If man contravened God’s will, man will not be able to grow his soul.

Ge. 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

Ge. 3:4 “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman.
Ge. 3:5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Lucifer swung into action, to make sure that the soul of man never grows into the fullness of God. He deceived man into going against the will of God. God disconnected man from the spiritual nutrients needed to make the soul to grow. The soul of man began to wither.

Ge. 3:22 And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
Ge. 3:23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

The tree of life is the only source of the spiritual nutrients that make the human soul to grow. When man chose to go against the will of God, God barred man from the tree of life. There was therefore no way the soul of man could grow again.

People don't know what God used IBB to do in this country. What Abiola's son said is exactly correct. Abiola's presidency would have been characterized by Islamic extremism. God used IBB to withhold Islamic extremism in Nigeria's presidency until end time, then He let Buhari come into Nigeria's presidency.

Bringing Heaven into Hell

I offer my respect posthumously to the late Merlin Carothers, the author of Praise books, one of which is entitled "Bringing Heaven into Hell". Merlin Carothers taught in his books that the way to bring heaven into hell is by sacrificially offering praises to God even when you are being assaulted by hellish situations. He was right; his teachings were in line with the Bible. However, here I am concerned with sons of God. Any time a son of God lets his heart dwell on the love that God has lavished on His sons, praise and thanksgiving to God should spontaneously burst out his heart.

1Jn. 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called sons of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
1Jn. 3:2 Dear friends, now we are sons of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn. 3:3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

The really big problem is that the sons of God themselves do not even understand who they are. They do not understand that they are in very nature God (Ph. 2:6). They are replicas of God and are supposed to be doing like God. When Apostle John wrote 1 John 3, he wrote that what the sons of God shall be had not been made known. Today, I am am making known what the sons of God really are, so that the sons of God shall rise up and start acting like their Father--the manifestation of the sons of God.

The sons of God should learn how to be God like their Father. People of God see that the Bible calls Jesus God and so they concluded that Jesus is the Almighty. Well, I am already practicing to become God like the Father; may be they will also call me the Almighty. Sons of God should begin to practice giving life to something that is as good as dead and calling forth things that do not exist into existence (Ro. 4:17). That is how to become God. Practice makes perfect.

So, when hell assaults either a son of God or somebody close to him, the son of God should banish hell and replace hell with heaven by word of faith.

"You hellish situation that is assaulting my life (or the life of this other person), I drive you away from my life for good and replace you with heavenly situation, by divine power through the Holy Spirit of God, in the name of Jesus Christ."

2Pe. 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

God's power is available to the sons of God for them to solve all their problems. In other for a son of God to operate the divine power, he must have his staff (anointing of the Holy Spirit) in his hand and he must speak to the Holy Spirit (the rock) to release the divine power towards solving the problem at hand (Nu. 20:.

I have some maize plants in a garden that is in the compound in which I live. The maize plants have produced fruits that are close to maturity. Today, I saw a bird perching on one of the fruits and trying to eat the corn. I first of all thought of driving the bird away by throwing stone, but then I decided to drive the bird away by divine power. So, I said: "I drive you bird away from my garden by divine power through the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ." One or two seconds after I made the utterance, the bird flew away.

Later, another bird came to my maize plants again. I then said, "I bar every bird from eating my harvest in this garden by divine power through the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ." The bird flew away and no bird came again for the rest of the day.

Nu. 20:2 Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron.
Nu. 20:3 They quarreled with Moses and said, “If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the LORD!
Nu. 20:4 Why did you bring the LORD’s community into this desert, that we and our livestock should die here?
Nu. 20:5 Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!”
Nu. 20:6 Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and fell face down, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them.
Nu. 20:7 The LORD said to Moses,
Nu. 20:8 “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so that they and their livestock can drink.”

Here Moses and the whole nation of Israel was in a dire situation; in the middle of a desert without any water. Moses went to the presence of God. God could have solved the problem by sending His word but, since Israel was His firstborn son, God decided to use the situation to teach Israel how He works. God commanded Moses to go with the staff in his hand and speak to the rock, in the presence of all Israel, directing the rock to produce water for the people. Unfortunately, Moses did not do exactly as God commanded him.

The staff in Moses hand represents the Holy Spirit in the son of God. The rock is the divine power.

Ge. 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Ge. 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Here was a situation that could only be described as being formless and empty, full of darkness. The Spirit of God (with divine power) was right there in the situation, yet the situation remained unchanged. Then God spoke to His Spirit, "Let there be light!" The situation suddenly became perfect. God's word directed what the divine power should do. If God had not spoken His word, the situation would have remained formless, empty and full of darkness without end.
