TravelRe: My Experience Of Racism In America, What Africans Can Learn From It- Aroms Aigbe by kellybaba(m): 3:40pm On Jun 08, 2018
millomaniac:
You have a point but my disappointment is that you allowed the actions of two paranoid unknown white skinned american women to inspire this write up. And more sadly they made you look down on yourself and people. Yes Africa and Africans are always protrayed in bad light. But from your write up that area or route seems not to have the best of security. The women might have heard stories about the area same as you. Same way you were security conscious of the surrounding by going the extra length to making sure you have enough gas so as to not get stranded in that area in as much as that area is dominated by white skinned folks is same way they became security conscious on sighting a male approaching them in that area. May be it was your appearance some people just naturally have a bad mean appearance or maybe they were just being paranoid or maybe they saw a dark skinned man. But you opted for the later. They might have acted same if a menacing white skinned male was approaching them. Or they might have acted differently if a very good looking young dark skinned male approached or a dark skinned priest approached. I am sure you wouldn't have come up with this write up. if similar actions were taken by 2 dark skinned women. Which then begs the question "are you being racist against yourself?" We as a dark skinned people must not succumb to seeing ourselves the way people of other race sees us. There is absolutely nothing wrong with us. Africans are indeed wonderful people. If the wrong set of people assume power and deny their people food, quality education and basic human amenities no matter the race of people they would find themselves exactly if not worse than africa. same way their are notorious african american neighbourhoods and a person whether white or dark skinned becomes security conscious at the sight of a dark skinned man when they are in those neighbourhood is same way there are notorious white american neighbourhoods and a white or dark skinned person becomes security conscious on sighting a white skinned man in that neighbourhood . The difference is the notorious african neighbourhood is over publicized and blown out of proportion.
Please do you know any country in black Africa (with all the wealth under their soils) that is advanced in any facet of life or at least has conquered the basic needs of existence to majority of its citizens (let me not say all citizens?) ?

Dear sir,

I congratulate u for embarking on such a Biz venture and I pray u reap the rewards of ur labour. I actually wanted to start this palm oil refining Biz, but after some thoughts and calculations, I discovered that it was highly capital intensive.

Also, I've been planning on how to set a palm oil filling station (Just like fuel stations) whereby the oil will be dispensed with the aid a pump. I've done the whole planning, but its still highly capital intensive.

Pls I need ur input on this.
This is my number:07038896503.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Congratulations once again.
Sounds interesting but novel. I guess but the Business model would really determine how successful it would be in terms of what currently exists. Am sure the Dispenser could be sourced from China at a low cost. Have you put a budget to d project?

What you are going through iare the consequences of what is called Evil Parental Handover. The moment you decide you don't want to serve them, they will make life miserable for you because you are a lawful captive handed over to them by your parents and as a result, they have spirirual legal authority over you. But if you are saved and have a relationship with Jesus Christ, I tell you your total deliverance is guaranteed.

Jesus is the only power that can defeat them and they fear Him. He alone can deliver you totally according to the word of God in Isaiah 49: 25-26

Because I think you need help from experienced deliverance Ministers also, I recommend you locate the nearest branch of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries and run a deliverance session which they good regularly.

It is well wirh you.

The factory big o. Wish I had money to set something like this up in my state and around my hometown: an area notorious of its palm tree concentration.

× that will reduce the already spiralling crime rate.
× create massive employment.
× boost the economy of Nigeria by steering it towards agriculture.
.
.
I don't think it is possible to petition my state government to build something like this around the said area sha.

@ Op speaktome is there an automated system like this that can convert cassava into garri?
Please which area exactly are you referring to? Is the area also investment-friendly especially the locals?

It's called foundational or inherited foundational sin.
The village settings signifies your foundation.
The broom and the sweeping means: a foundational dirt(sin) that needs to be clean.
So,in essence, the lord says; something is wrong with your foundation and there's an inherited foundational sin troubling your life which must be sweep before u can be free.
Perhaps you've been praying(i can see that) but there is something you are not doing right hence while you are being mocked or laughed at.
Meaning, you've been praying and seeking God to fight for you but heaven seems close, is as if your prayers are bouncing back and that's because you are not doing something right hence while you are being mocked by this foundational SIN. Hmmmm what a world!!!
Bless u.
Pray this prayers;
Foundational powers, sin mocking me' I expose your source of mocking over me.
Thank you sir and more anointing in Jesus name. Actually I have been praying about my foundation and this revelation is linked to the prayers am doing. God bless !

Dear ebankole,
I had a dream where I went to our village house with my siblings to clean up the house/compound that has been abandoned for a long time. We had plenty big NEW BROOMS and as d exercise was on, I saw the villagers(family members) sitting down on rows of benches, watching and mocking me.One of them said its not all about just doing gragra and be doing clean-up.
Kindly assist me with an interpretation here. God bless sir.

police r not being paid properly so dnt expect a credible result from them.Govt need to strengthen our law enforcement.better incentives will motivate them.how do u expect police to perform when some good-4-nothing,money-gulping buffoons r up there embezzling billions? huh huh we hv no police, wat we hv are KAI officers dressed in police uniforms grin grin
The problem of Nigeria Police is FUNDAENTALLY,not an issue of salary/wages.i agree its a motivation but i can assure you on my honour tha i you begin to pay a Policeman =N1m monthly, what yu have succeeded in doing is to hike his taste and the "bribery value" of an officer who has been used to thousands of naira will increase to the millions.

1)Have you considered the Mode of Recruitment? What kind of individuals get recruited into the Nigerian Police force.
2)How many high-flying graduates with great prospects would on leaving the University willing and eager to become a Policeman(i am not talking about unemployed graduates)?.i mean great materials from our ivory towers
3)How many parents would persistently encourage their children to join the NPF?

In my opinion, even the unemployed graduates shun working in the NPF.Only the Unemployable ones find themselves in there. Now tell me what product you xpect from a fake/unusuable raw materialhuh

Who are Boko Haram?
Do they wear uniform?
Do they have a base?

Ask the Americans and the Pakistanis what it is to fight insurgence.

The menace has come to stay in Nigeria. They were bred over the years by the Northern elites that turned them to radicals and used them against Christians and southerners but unfortunately for them, their chicken has come home to roost.

What I foresee is complete anarchy in Northern Nigeria. Anarchy!

Everyone should accept the fact, Somali has come to Nigeria, so deal with it.

One Nigeria!
This Military invastion,task-force or whatever it is called will amount to nothing in the absence of Intelligence-gathering & Information.I expect that before this deployment,Officers trained in Intelligence gathering should have done their mappings for months and build enough database whivh will be implmeneted by the invading force.
I just hope this wont result in citizens' harrassment by these Forces.

I am sure Mr President was trying to be guided in making the usual platitudes like 'Govt will definitely fish out the culprits behind this devilish act and bring them to book".He know we are tired of hearing of that and he chose a different Line.

Well shaa,am sure by now,PDP must have submitted names of members of another PANEL OF ENQUIRY to investigate this terrorist act with a view to identifying the remote and immediate causes.

The membership will be chosen from the 36 States of the Federation to reflect the "ever-lively" ZONING basis of "OUR GREAT PARTY and this time no marginalisation of any ZONE.

Goodluck to Nigeria.

the immediate reaction of the police is far below the magnitude of the bombing incident,

just watched on TV the police spokesperson was reading out a prepared speech like a primary school pupil reading out a storybook

even the words they are using are so soft, it looks as if its a natural disaster that they are referring to

The Inspector-General of Police Hafiz Abubakar Ringim, NPM, mni has expressed his displeasure over the suicide bomb attack on vehicles parked at the Force Headquarters, Abuja car park.

The unfortunate incident which led to the death of the suicide bomber and a Police traffic warden occurred at about 1100hrs of 16/06/2011 when the suicide bomber vehicle was intercepted and directed to the car park for searching and checking.

The Traffic Warden who entered the vehicle of the suicide bomber to direct him to the car park was blown off along with him as soon as they got to the car park.

The IGP wises a appreciate the efforts of the fire service and the team of armed forces fire service who promptly responded to put off the fire.

The body of the suicide bomber has been recovered and a full investigation has commenced.

Members of the public are assured that the criminal elements behind this dastardly attack will be fished out as the government, the Police and other security agencies will not succumb to the demand of any criminal group or individual.

the tone is just too soft and passive
The tone is well-chosen,measured and deliberate. The script being read to Nigerians by the Police PRO is aimed at 'Perception Management'.To make it sound as though it wasnt a terrorist attack taregetted against the Police institution.Nigerians are too smart for this line but it is well shaa.IGP carry go !

How on earth can a sane person say he is creating 10,000 jobs in Imo State when we do not have any single industry runninghuhhuhhuhhuhhuh

Where would these 10,000 staff be deployed to? This scam doesnt look to me like its done with the noblest of intentions.

PDP and Ohakim used it as a landmine for the incoming Govt of Owelle Rochas and it appears he has used it to set-up our new Gov against these youths that he scammed.

I pity my fellow imolites who found themselves in this fraud occassioned by the Chief Kingpin

seconded. when a bid is announced, there are requirements that must be met, namely budgetary. obviously, these are the only two companies that could afford what the bid was asking for. i would say that they should try to get at least one more candidate, but if these are the only two companies that can do the work, that is what you are stuck with.
If you truly undertstand how bureaucracy works in Nigeria especially with Contract bids and awards,it might interest you to know that some of the requirements are smartly packaged in such a way and manner that a pre-determined lackey/front would be the only one to meet those so-called requirements.I know what am talking about and thaz one of those acts of corruption that daily confronts us.Reason y we ask GEJ to overhaul our Federal Civil service in toto

-Akala should set up a security company being a former policeman(Get the Distributor for TURA Soaps in Dugbe Market)
-Iyabo should set up a vet clinic(Retire to Ota Farm as Chief Vet doctor for Baba's poultry)
-Orji owns The Sun Newspaper, he should become a columnist(Open Newspaper stand at Brass junction by Aba-Oweeri Road)
