Ogetogeo: Sorry, this is the number: 08094566790
notinmege: Etisalat sent text that i should recharged with 4,000.00 to get 15,000.00 to call any network for 30 days. Is it real? I hope there will not be any form of deductions later like their counterpart -MTN. Please throw more light. Thank you.
This is the Easy Flex bundle plan. It offers you 150% bonus of your actual recharge to call any network with the added advantage of a 2-for-1 offer that gives you on subscription free after two consecutive subscriptions. Call tariff on it is however 40 kobo per second and browsing at the rate of 1 kobo per kilobyte.

Soundmind: Etisalat is the costliest network now. Why pls
Etisalat has one of the most competitive tariff. You can call for as low as 10 kobo per second to all networks. Kindly refer to the tariff section on the etisalat website www.etisalat.com.ng

Heartfemi: Nice job here Etisalat.......Keeping close tab on your customers .
Mine is an enquiry. Kindly give more clarification on the free TWELVE month data Etisalat is Offering the PHANTOM A PLUS USERS. How may MB monthly will be allocated to me and will that be subject to me paying for a particular data plan before i can enjoy this offer?
Also, I am interested in getting a new Etisalat Line will it be possible to get a number similar to the one i currently use on MTN network?

Thanks for the Good work you are doing here.
We always have different bundle plans for different devices available at our experience centres. Kindly visit an etisalat experience centre close to you to get more information about the offer available for the Phantom device.

You can also get clarification on having a similar etisalat line to your network at the shop. You will need to make a reservation for the number and will have to pay for it subject of course to availability of the intended mobile number.

Successfigure: Etisalat we need your service or mast in ikenne. I've be sending this message time and again via my email. It seem you consider my issue nothing and decide to show preferencial treatment.
Kindly note that our network team is working to ensure that etisalat network covers every location across the country. Kindly bear with us.

silly MTN: i bleeping hate etisalat as their data bundles are nofin 2 write home abt...mtcheeeew
We strive to ensure that the data plans we offer gives the best value as you can conveniently use them with ease on our 3.75G network. As time goes on, our data plans may be reviewed depending on the demands of the market.

Bsmartt(m):
please i want to ask why you always confuse your customers on packages/promo.you said you will give us back 20% of our recharges for may and june not either may or june. but now you only gave me for may still expecting my june bonus according to what ETISALAT advertised to all of us.thanks for your anticipated response. 08092318909
Please note that the 20% bonus on recharge is given to customers every other month which means bi-monthly as you will need to accumulate the bonus for a new month after getting for a particular month. For example, a customer who gets in may will not get in June but will get in July for recharges made in June. I hope this clarifies your concern. Sorry for the mix up.

PhonesRe: Etisalat Customer Care Thread by Kellymann(op): 10:57pm On Jul 31, 2013
webdezzi: @Kellymann

Etisalat needs to fix the data plan auto-renewal module, it is fraudulent and does not comply with safe standards

Take web hosting services for instance, whenever i use my debit card online, The companies put me on auto-renewal on first use, but the moment i take the pain to search for the opt-out link, and i opt out successfully
It is best practice, they wont charge my card anymore. Even when i owe them, them may suspend services but they will not attempt hitting my card.

when i make another payment, they charge just that value and wont put me back on auto-renewal, they just give me the freedom to go to bed without me worrying my account balance will be zeroed.

On the contrary, Etisalat puts you back on auto-renewal the very moment you purchase say a 10MB plan
6am next morning, they just deduct 100naira.

when you try opting out immediately after buying the 10MB, The system tells you, it will reply you by SMS, you will not be opted out right away. The system seem to have been programmed to use the "random" equivalent in whatever language, to not opt you out until you are billed the next day.

This is very very wrong.

2. Please, stop sending me SMS that i have 106 free daily sms, everytime i check my balance, must an sms follow?

3. Also, i am not interested in a Mercedes Benz, if i need one, i will buy, at least give us the option of opting out of the promo text messages.

I have really been busy if not, i would have visited the glo office for a port last week
if this does not stop, i will be left with no choice.
1. Apologies for the inconvenience the auto renewal has caused you. The auto renewal is actually designed to make life easier for customers to be able to subscribe to the data plan of their choice without having to to dial the code again but have the option of deactivating the auto renewal without affecting the data plan. I can categorically say that once the service is deactivated after subscribing, it stays deactivated until subscribed again. If you get any error message when you deactivate, you can always contact us to help you check the status or deactivate the renewal for you. The auto renewal is actually not intended to inconvenience the subscriber.

2. Regarding the SMS's you receive after checking your balance, we have been getting similar feedbacks as your and are currently working on how this can be addressed.

3. The promo SMS is an SMS to base and for customers' information. Customers have the option of disregarding them if it does not apply to them. Option to opt out of receiving such SMS is actually a nice idea and we will see if that option can be explored.

4. You are a valuable aspect of our business and will not be happy to see you go, that's we go at great length to ensure that any issue you have is adequately addressed. Kindly honour us with the opportunity to serve you will see how far we can go to ensure our customers are satisfied on the network.

freecitizn: Two queries from 08173944805
1.How can I stop autorenewal of 200MB monthly data for smartphones.I want to do it manually only when needed.

2. A few months ago, I bought the 200MB data bundle for 1k,and it deactivated by BB subscription instantly which I renewed just 4 days earlier. Called customer care and they were just dilly-dallying. I had to pay annother 3000 for BIS service. Customer care promised to resolve it but I neither got my credit nor a BIS service rollover. angry angry angry
1. To deactivate auto renewal of data plan, kindly dial *229*0# or send 'stop' to 229.

2. The data subscription is not supposed to deactivate the BIS as both can co-exist together. Also the etisalat full BIS is now 1,500 naira and not 3000.

I dont have access to the system right now to be able to check. If it happened months back, we may need to get an idea of the particular month it happened so as to know where to check from.

Regards.

oluemmakay: Pls, i am e new user of Etisalat network. I haven't been able to speak with d customer care, they seems to always bounce my call.
After acquiring the sim with easy-cliq package, i changed it to easy-starter but i ve nt been able to use the Zone advantage. The code is not working. My phone number:08177655179. Thanks!!!!!
On Easy Starter, you don't even need the Homezone to enjoy lower call rates as you can enjoy rates at 20 kobo per second once you use up to 25 naira in a day for either voice call at 40 kobo per second for the first minute, SMS or data or a combination of the three. That is the default on Easy Starter presently.

ypzilanti: Your customer care lines are not working. The receiver picks as cannot hear caller. I'm sure you all should know this by now and it beats my imagination why nothing has been done about this.
We sincerely apologise for the challenges faced in reaching the customer care line. Due to the volume of calls to the centre during peak periods you may experience such challenge however, we strive to ensure that our customer are able to reach our care lines within the most reasonable time.

cosify: Thanks for taking the initiative to help Etisalat subscibers. My question is: Why is it that if i recharge N100 twice, i will see only N195 in my account balance. My line is: 08093866992. Thanks in anticipation of an answer.
Its likely you have a service that has a daily access fee of 5 naira. I do not have access to the system to check at the moment, but will revert to you as soon as I confirm.

adamu50: I subscribed to easyflex which doubles every of my N300 recharge and N1800 for N600 recharge. But the issue is that the charges are too much. It is just as if fire catches cotton wool.
Please note that on the Easy Flex bundle plan, the tariff is 40 kobo per second but if you factor the bonus you get on the plan which is 150% of your actual recharge, you will see that it gives you more in terms of value. Ability to do so much more with lesser credit. Think about it.

I understand your utmost interest in having the etisalat network in your locality and can assure you that this will be possible as soon as our network team gets the necessary approval to deploy the network in your area. Etisalat is a network that does believe in limitations of space or distance and will be glad to have your locality plugged onto the network. This has been the unwavering commitment of our network team and I believe serious work is going on in this regard.

Oduntan Gabriel: Please some of my friends are enjoying free BIS on etisalat since over 6months, yet am here paying 1000 naira monthly... How can I also start enjoying this free bis without attracting any charges
Ability to use BIS on the network is subscription based and should not be available free except in the case of promo of which none is available at the moment. If some set of subscribers fall under the scenario you described its possible some actions may have been carried out by these individuals to by pass the network. However, the fraud unit is always on the look out for situations like this so that they can be addressed accordingly.

I was able to answer all the questions they asked me but when they told me to say the five frequent numbers dat i call, they said none of them is correct., even after calling some numbers. Btw, all my contacts are on the sim, there is a limit to the numbers i have in my head. What would i do i'm not close to any etisalat centre here
If you don't have your PUK code, you can still be assisted with a SIM swap if you are but able to provide the following details viz:

* Date of birth as registered
* Mother's maiden name
* Address as registered
* State and Local government as registered
* Package type
* service active on the line, e.g. BIS, You and Me, number registered as You and Me, etc.
* 3 frequently dialed numbers

You can also request a SIM swap online on the etisalat website via the link: http://www.etisalat.com.ng/simswap/simswap.php

You are actually using the correct code. If you are unable to add a You and Me number, its like due to another reason and not the code. It may be that you already the have the maximum allowance of numbers registered or you are no longer on Easy Starter.

With your phone number, we can check which of these is the culprit and help you resolve the issue accordingly.

Linberry: I'm writing this wif so much bitterness for etisalat. How can my bb subscription of 1500 expire in less than 48hrs? I did not dowload anything @ all. This is not fair! They will end up loosing customers.
The etisalat monthly BB subscription gives you 3GB blackberry data. If you exhaust the data before the due date depending on your data consumption, you may not be able to have access to the service. What has happened is that though your subscription will still be valid but you no longer have data to access the service.

You can however provide your phone number so that the peculiar issue you described is looked into.
