And who says the advancement in their economy as compared to Nigeria has anything to do with the number of days they have as public holidays.

I really see no need for this kind of thread except that the OP is trying to show how much of a bigot he is or looking for cheap popularity in starting a thread which he feels is controversial.

It is a widely accepted fact that employers of labour will always detest holidays & employees are always prone to always happy with holidays.

It is a public holiday declared by the govt. Whether or not is too much is an issue for the machinery of govt to work out & it sounds funny to M̶̲̅ε̲̣ that a country will want to waste time & resources on debating whether declaring a day as a public holiday is right or wrong.

If my suggestion does not work for you, no wahala I got your back I have a software that compresses BB OS, but first try the option I mentioned above first.

ive tried my last suggestion of using jl_cmder to wipe the phone, but the issue is that the application doesnt detect the phone at all. none of the application i use in trying to communicate with the phone works; dm, apploader for reloading the os, bbsak, & lately jlcmder.

i dunno if anyone can assist with any suggestion on resolving the issue.

What version of DM are you using? If you are using an old version upgrade and try it.

thanks. im using version 6 which i believe is the latest version. what i want to try now is use that jlcmdr to wipe the phone & reload the os & see if it willk work.

You have two options,

1. Download the default Vendor OS or 2 goto your where your OS files are located on your computer and delete the 'Vendor file' ONLY! They reload the OS it will work. PLZ DELETE ONLY THE VENDOR FILE O!

Appreciate ur sugg, but that's exactly wot I did. But the desktop manager wasn't detecting the fone, neither is the application loader when I tried reloading the OS.

I have an issue wit a javeline, I restored backup from a bold 2 on it & since then, when it boots, it gets to the a point where it shows the brand its branded to. Its vodafone branded, so instead of booting & getting to desktop, it will just get to dat vodafone screen page & stop there.

I've tried to reload the OS, but the desktop manager does not detect the phone.

Pls wot can I D̶̲̥̅̊Φ. Will appreciate suggestions pls.

Hi guys,

I have a blackberry bold 2 that recently started misbehaving. This started after a theme was installed on it. It just displays the theme background and nothing else and the keypad or any part of the phone will not respond. I flashed it and had OS 6 installed on it and it worked for a couple of days and the same issue started again.

Please I want to know what can be done to resolve this and possibly avoid a repeat occurrence.

I think we all should be objective and sensitive in the way we react to issues. The whole brouhaha over Islamic banking has been riddled with so much bigotry and mistrust. Many of us who are die-hard opponents of the principle have developed this kind of mindset based on some of the misrepresentations about Islam we have been exposed to over the years.

Many of us are all of the opinion that anything that has the appellation Islamic means a lot of negative things that misrepresentations have allowed us to ascribe to it.

I am sure this is also fueled by the fact that the issue of Islamic banking was brought up again during the the tenure of a CBN governor who is a Muslim. Some of us calling for the head of Sanusi today I know would have praised him when he stood up against the Senate during their allocation issue.

We should learn to be more tolerant of each other more so at this crucial point of celebrating 51 years of independence. Nigeria is still one today because of the sacrifice of some people to make it one. Let us not all tear it apart with our attitude of always wanting to suspect the other ethnic group, religious group, etc.
