Music/RadioRe: Fake American Accents On Nigerian Radio & Tv! by Kellymann: 4:11pm On Sep 14, 2011

Its also funny to see everyone mentioning 'presenters'!!!

Some of us here do it, but nobody can come out to admit it. we only blame and disguise everything angry angry angry angry
You hit the nail on the head! A greater percentage of everyone here at one time or the other have been guilty of this 'crime', so let no one be claiming 'holy pass' here. The issue is since English is our official language, some people strive hard to speak it like the English man does and in the process end up overdoing it.

If u want to speak English like the Englishman, which is actually the standard spoken English, if u dont know how the Englishman pronounces some words, use ur own tongue to pronounce it how best you can instead of allowing affectation to start making u sound like an idiot even to yourself. Our local accent cant be that bad. Other African countries have their own accented way of speaking English too, the South Africans for example speak English with a very heavy accent and they are cool with it.

Make we no kill ourselves over one yeye accent jawe!

IslamRe: Why Are Muslims Preventing Inter Religious Marriage? by Kellymann: 7:50am On Sep 01, 2011
I can see toba is really enjoying himself. I believe he's da kind of persons dat lyks argument to provoke ur sensibilities & to an extent he is succeeding. Bro! More power to ya! On the other hand, I'll want to commend the way muslims on dis thread have been able to comport themselves & d wonderful insights provided by deols, tanimz & wislet even in the face of outright insults from christians.

My take on all this, in the end, God knows who 's serving Him & who's not. Who truly believes in Him & worship Him & who is not.

Let us all follow our conviction & respect other peoples' own. Doing this, the world would be a better place.
IslamRe: Why Are Muslims Preventing Inter Religious Marriage? by Kellymann: 11:24am On Aug 31, 2011
@   toba,   I   believe   every   race,   tribe   or   religion   has   a right   to   determine   the   set   of   pple   they   marry.

As   for   Muslims,   it   is   a   clear   cut   injunction   dat   Muslims   shd   marry   only   Muslims   &   are   not   allowed  to marry non-muslims.   This  however   does  not   mean that   they   shd   treat  them   wit  hatred.  Islam  enjoins  peaceful   co-existence   with  pple  of   other  faiths  be  they  xtians,  jews,  etc.   By  respecting  their  views/opinions  even  if  they  dont  agree   with them.
Nairaland GeneralRe: What Happened To Nairalist? by Kellymann(op): 12:34am On Aug 30, 2011
Okada man! How market! Nice comic relief from you. More power to ya!
Nairaland GeneralRe: What Happened To Nairalist? by Kellymann(op): 12:15am On Aug 30, 2011
Well, for those who think dealfish is a competition, I beg to disagree. Nairalist has its followership already and caters to the need of sellers who want to post classifieds and buyers looking for a good deal. Nairalist is easily accessible, loads faster and user friendly. Methinks Seun should come out with an official statement on this. If he wants to sell, then he should make his intention know.
Nairaland GeneralWhat Happened To Nairalist? by Kellymann(op): 10:31am On Aug 27, 2011
I think this question should be directed at Seun. What's happening to nairalist? I don't think any update has been done on the site for the past five days. Even the button to post a new advert is no long there. Initially I thought it was an issue with my internet connection until I accessed the page on another internet connection which is more reliable.

I am beginning to think the site has become full with too many posts that the site's memory can handle. If this is the case, I think Seun should try to delete some very old post of more than 9 or 12 months to create more space. If not, then I feel we should know what the issue is cos the site has become a one-stop for 'online' buyers and sellers and some people's day do not pass without them logging on to the site either to post ads, see what is available for sale, etc.

So whats happening guys?!!!
PoliticsRe: Legislators Offer N200,000 For Official Vehicles Bought For N6m In 2008 by Kellymann: 3:00pm On Jun 01, 2011
I think we still have a long way to go in this country if @ this stage in the world order the nations still bothers itself with issues like this. Imagine 200k for cars bought @ 6m 3 years ago. Methinks we need more ideologically sound minds in government than the bunch of clueless morons we currently have who cannot handle simple administrative matters like disposing of official cars in a sensible manner. For God's sakes! cant we do anything right in this country without any spec of corruption attached to it!

PhonesRe: Etisalat Bought Dangote's Alheri: Gets 3G License by Kellymann: 12:55am On Dec 05, 2010
This is really good news. With etisalat 3g, internet experience will b a lot more interesting as its present EDGE competes favourably wit the present 3g of other networks, mtn inclusive.
