I think people who submitted within that date had their files transfered to dublin and they received it late, so Just be patient.... you can as well send a mail to know your application status and who's treating your application.. you can send a mail to both d Abuja embassy and Dublin... Best of Luck

let me be clear on this!! each applicant are assessed differently..it depends on each applicants case.. do you expect a 18year old applicant going for undergraduate to provide an account statement.. Anyways let love lead..... I'm open to correction anytime but we should correct each other in a polite way
PEACE
CastedDude:
Oga, YOU ARE VERY WRONG. Before u give someone advice make sure you know what you are saying. The embassy advices that school fees should be made from sponsor's account or student's account. The statement of account where the tuition fee is paid from is meant to be submitted for visa application. The embassy needs to see the source of funds.

It is necessary for a prospective student to submit his or her bank statement irrespective of the sponsor's bank statement

Stop claiming professional that u are not. Go and read through the Irish website before you mislead someone.

PLEASE NEXT TIME YOU SHOULD READ AND DIGEST THE INFORMATION YOU READ HERE BEFORE MAKING UNNECESSARY ASSUMPTIONS JUST BECAUSE YOU THINK I'M AN AGENT. NOW MY REPLY TO QUESTION 3) CLEARLY SHOWS THAT I SAID HE/SHE NEEDS EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP(AND THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR THE VISA APPLICATION) AND I DON'T GET WHAT YOU MEAN BY SHOWING EVIDENCE OF WHO PAYS YOUR TUITION FEE BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE PAY THROUGH A THIRD PARTY... THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS STATING YOUR STUDENT NUMBER, NAME AND PROBABLY REFERENCE NO IF APPLICABLE...

AND YOUR ANSWER TO THE EMBASSY NEEDS MORE....... I HAVE ENOUGH PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND I CLEARLY KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING.
DEFINITELY IT WONT BE JUST THE CAC CERTIFICATE, THERE ARE OTHER DOCUMENTS THAT COMES WITH A CAC BUT YOU DON'T EXPECT ME TO START LISTING ALL, I ONLY ANSWER HIS/HER QUESTION IN THE SIMPLEST WAY I CAN

NOBODY KNOWS IT ALL...THIS IS A FORUM FOR LEARNING & GETTING INFORMATION YOU CAN MAKE YOUR CONTRIBUTION OR CORRECTION WITHOUT SOUNDING RUDE OR SHOULD I SAY ITK smiley
PEACE
ICaSNg:

Most of your answers are wrong . The embassy requires definitely more than just CAC certificate , and you need proof of relationship to whoever will be paying your tuition fees.

Please don't come here and share half-baked information pleaseeeeeee

HELLO
1) THE SCHOOLS FEES DOESNT HAVE TO BE PAID FROM HIS ACCOUNT, ITS NOT THE EMBASSY'S CONCERN, YOU CAN PAY FROM ANY ACCOUNT AS LONG AS YOU GET THE RECEIPT OF PAYMENT
2)IT'S NOT NECESSARY EXCEPT YOU HAVE A A GOOD FUNDS THERE, IF YOUR SPONSORS HAS ENOUGH FUNDS TO COVER YOUR LIVING EXPENSES, THEN ITS NOT NECESSARY
3) YES HE CAN, YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOW EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP
4)YES, JUST HIS CAC CERTIFICATE IS SUFFICIENT, TO SHOW HOWS HES A BUSINESSMAN AND HOW HE GETS THE FUNDS IN HIS ACCOUNT
5) YES OF COURSE, AS LONG AS HE GETS A LETTER FROM HIS BANK INDICATING HE'S THE SOLE SIGNATORY TO THAT ACCOUNT
DID I ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS?YOU CAN SEND A MAIL FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION SHA

hello its better you inform the school about your refusals, this doesnt affect your visa application.. although some schools dont like previous refusals and wont give out CAS but still if you dont disclose it.. In case of visa refusal and they disclose the reason as withholding previous refusal.... The school has every right not to refund your tuition deposit and you can get a ban as well
Qlip:
Hello Nairalanders,

My Uni has asked me to provide roof of funds for 28 days before CAS is given.
They also said I have to provide a letter of previous refusal if there is any so as to advice on the Visa process.

1. The problem is this is the 20th day and I want to know if it advisable to mail them and send them a copy of the bank statement explaining that its just the 21st day and that I dont intend to apply till the 28th day period has elapsed as I know the implications of applying earlier than 28 days.

2. I want to try this route because the CAS according to them takes 5 working days after submission of the proof of funds and the tuition deposit. If I fail to do this, I might have to wait till the 28th day before submission which means an additional 5 working days-a luxury I cant afford as resumption is 16/09 while the latest date of arrival is 25/09.

3. I know the importance of stating previous refusals when applying to the embassy but I dont know the implications if not disclosed to the school. The refusal was a student visa in Ireland back in 2013 due to negligence.

Inputs are welcome

Thanks

super priority is the best option
Goldengift94:
Hello guys, please i need your take on this.

My 28 days is counting and I hope to apply on the 11th of September. My resumption date is however 23rd of september while the latest date is 7th of October.
Considering these facts, would u advice I go for priority or super priority.

Secondly I intend going with my husband as dependant. Although I still carry my maiden name owing to the fact that that's what is on my passport and the name I gave for my school application. Do you think that's a problem or could it raise an eye brow. Even though we are married with a proof of marriage cert.

Thirdly, would you consider these documents sufficient for a proof of marriage and application.

1. Marriage certificate stated July 3rd 2019
2. Wedding pictures, pictures taken before and after marriage.
3.Random screen shot of Facebook and what's app chat starting from 2016 when we started dating till present.
4.TB test cert
5.CAS
6. Statement of account of the amount that covers myself and my hubby in my account.
7. B.sc cert

N.B
I have the news paper publication for change of name to my husband's name. Do u think this can be added to the documents even though my application doesn't carry his name.

Please your responses will be appreciated. Thanks.

sorry about this I didnt read the part he/she said his/her sponsor's account is wealthy. I tot he/she was using his personal account
Pelumos:
I am not following. Why do you think there is a high chance of the fellow's visa being refused? He/she said the personal account is the one with
200k and not that of the sponsor, the account of the sponsor is fine according to the person. Furthermore the application has already been submitted and there is nothing the person can do.
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by kelss5020: 12:21pm On Aug 20, 2019
Are you using your personal account for the application, If so, you need to explain how you earn the funds in your acc and since your business is not registered, its still possible to use it like that, but there are ways around it, they understand not all private businesses are registered or you should do the bond account to save you the stress.... With that, you wont be needing everything you stated
Christeety:
Good evening. Thanks for the advice.
Pls I have few questions and need answers from anybody that can help.
1) I worked last in 2016, but it was a one-man business, we weren't given employment letter and salary was paid by cash. If I include it in my C.V how do I back up the claim with necessary documents eg Bank statement, employment letter and letter of recommendations
2) 2017, I started my farming business, but I didn't register my business. Can I include it in my C.V?
3) 2018, I enrolled for my masters program in Unilag and finished this year but we haven't been given certificate. Should I state it in my C.V? Because have read stories about how visas were denied because they felt you just completed a masters program why coming for another one?

4? Is it compulsory for my statement of account to show evidence of salary?

Pls I'll be grateful if my questions are being answered cos I intend applying for visa next week. Thanks guys

I submitted my application in Lagos on the 6th August for Griffith College Dublin 8. My supported documents are legit and my sponsor bank account is also wealthy and I have also paid 90% of the school fees. What advice do you have for me ?
