Pink white, light-brown, dark-brown Amala is Amala It just depends in wat they grinded for the flour. The light-brown is the original Amala - raw yams are cut and sun dry before it is grinded. This is the most costly of all. The dark-brown Amala - they used the peel-off back of yam. It is affordable. The white is called (Ilafu) - flour got from cassava. It is the less costly of all. |
