Muhammadu Buhari is NOT a General. He didn't attain that rank.
He has a lower rank, actually.

The link is not opening to the paper on state capitalism........Check it again and resend
But still the western open market capitalism system nearly ran the world into recession during the econmoic crisis

The link title contains symbols my browser simply translates as hollow boxes. You'll have to copy the title of the academic paper, along with the authors, and then search them on Google. You'll find a UC Berkeley webpage.

1. Chinease system of Government is Communism but over the years the government eased control on its tyt grip over the countries economy but dont get it confused they stil control over 60% of the economy, thats why the last economic crisis didnt shake them at all .....Google is your friend

Please read this academic paper from UC Berkeley.
"A Model of China's State Capitalism" by Xi Li, Xuewen Liu and Yong Wang: http://igov.berkeley.edu/content/model-china’s-state-capitalism%03
There's a PDF file on that page. Please download and read it before asking me to 'google'.

2 Russia has the lowest unemployment ratio in the world 12% even the USA has to be impressed.
The rissian economy was downgraded to junk status by western controlled rating agency, thats why the BRICS member state are working to create a new rating agency.
Russia does not only rely on oil, it exports technology, arm, and weaponry, Gas etc

Bros, get your facts straight. The country with the lowest unemployment rate is Switzerland, followed by South Korea.
And don't try the usual "Western-controlled boogeyman" copout. The Ruble slid to junk status as a result of the sky-rocketing inflation that has greeted the country due to export sanctions and, most importantly, the crash of the oil market. Their technology and arms exports only account for a miniscule percentage of their revenuem and cannot survive on its own.

Bottomline is, Buhari's economic model does not run in harmony with the Open Market capitalist system we badly need at this point, and I'm sure even you are fully aware of this.

For a lay man, state-capitalism falls unders communist or socialist economy. Cos of the state's involvement. Russia hasn't diversify, Has Nigeria diversified? Or does Nigeria also use the communist system?

Nigeria is diversifying, and it can be seen. Agriculture, manufacturing, and these are privately-owned enterprises.
I'd rather have this than a man who says to farmers, "Just farm, we the government will buy. APC, Change!"

Olodo. Even capitalist nations give out social security payments to the unemployed to reduce crime and ensure equitable wealth distribution

You're the REAL olodo, economic illiterate and overall dumbass.
Tell me which progressive state pays money to ALL of it's 25 million unemployed youth with a monoeconomy like ours.
Nigeria runs an annual budget that is little above 4 trillion naira.
Paying N5000 to 25 million people every month (like he said he would) is 125billion for a month. Multiply that by 12 (a year) and it's 1.5trillion naira, more than one-third of the national budget! Does that look to you like a country that plans to grow or is your hero just that terrible at Mathematics? He did supposedly score an F9, didn't he?

China is a communist nation and the worlds largest Economy on nominal GDP worth $16.9trn , Russia has the worlds lowest Unemployment ratio of 12%.....Pardon me and call me a communist if a envy communism abit

Very weak and poor argument.

1. China practices STATE-CAPITALISM. Please Google it.

2. You give me Russia which has turned to one of the most corrupt countries in the world all thanks to the system it practices? Do you also know what the GINI Coefficient (wealth disparity) in Russia is? Are you also aware that this same communism is the reason Russia has failed to diversify it's economy (away from Oil) and is now taking a serious beating from Obama's calculated plan of crashing the global oil price? Are also aware that this has kindled a chain reaction that is about to see Russia's currency (Ruble) downgraded to 'junk' status?
You might wanna do that research before basking in your utopic delusions.

how in the world is this an issue? Cant a man appreciate anything anymore?, Buhari also believed in the communist system of Governance but change his mind after the collapse of the soviet Union, I dare you to look for a pictures of Buhari and an imam or pictures of buhari in mecca or with any religious scholar....but GEJ visits different pastors every sunday and nobody complains, some of the pastors are even threatning to open the Gates of hell on the rest of us

Bros, Buhari is a freaking COMMUNIST, and nothing has changed!
Wasn't he the same guy who, when asked on how he was going to diversify our economy, said he would employ the aid of the Army, Navy and Airforce?
Look at his f0cking manifesto for goodness sake! Paying monthly cash to 25 million jobless people instead of enacting policies to help them become EMPLOYERS.
The man has not changed. And if there's anything I've picked up on him, HE DETESTS CAPITALISM.

Yes, you may be right.

Now in 2015, even though a large section still wants Rochas out, APGA isn't very strong at the moment, and not too many are willing to deliver Imo state to the hands of the PDP again (on the state level).

Op you dull pass Jonadunce I swear. PDP ruled Edo state from 1999 to 2008, almost 10 years and they succeeded in sending the state back to the stone age with their massive development of poverty. Edo state was an eyesore. Benin City was a terrible mess. Where you in a hole during that period?

Oshiobaba is the best thing to have happened to Edo State since the creation of Edo State. He has done immensely well in undoing the unimaginable evil done to the state by the killer party. Even the Oba of Benin snubbed Jonadunce when he came to campaign for PDP in Edo state, to show you the evil Pdp represents.

Abeg Park well joor. Your mumu go soon wear G-String...

cheesy

Bros, you're the only dullard here with your pathetic style of reasoning.
What excuse does Oshiomhole have for the state of disrepair in the numerous schools in Edo after governing the state for 8 years?

Aren't you clowns the same people who expect Jonathan to fix everything wrong with Nigeria within just 4 years and 9 months of assuming office regardless of the fact that the rot kicked off over 35 years before he even became Vice President?

What stopped PDP from rebuilding the school between 1999 and 2007? PDP was in charge in Edo state for eight years. Are you saying this school suddenly became bad in the last two or three years?

O boy, what the hell are you talking about? Hasn't Oshiomhole been governor for 8 freaking years? What is stopping him from fixing it?

Back in Nigeria, the assholes, Barack Obama and David Cameron, tried to force us into withdrawing our anti-gay law.

Same way EL-Rufai claimed Buhari was perpetually unelectable.

When you decamp from PDP to APC, it means you found the light.
When you decamp from APC to PDP, it means you've sold your soul to the highest bidder.

When there's a high turnup at an APC rally, it means the people genuinely want change.
When there's a high turnup at a PDP rally, it means they're a rented crowd.

But that's another story.

By the way, anyone know why the 'progressive' Lagos still hasn't domesticated the Freedom-Of-Information bill yet? grin
