With each passing day, her hero denies his words and his promises, while his bottom-feeders work overtime to rationalize.

Dear Obiagelli, best rest assured that we shall still be here to witness Buhari deny his "5000 For Vulnerable People" promise, and his worshippers shall come out to remind us it wasn't Buhari who made the promise with his mouth in the first place but Lai Mohammed.

Better sit tight, and grab your heart pills in preparation for that inevitable day.

Chei. Confusion in the tower of babel.

Act 1

PMB: I present to you, dear senate, the budget of change. With our 6.08 trillion naira budget, we are prepared to take our country to greater heights. As you may see, this is Zero budgeting, with no interference from Otuoke man's kwarrapt team. I worked with perm secs for 4 months before appointing a cabinet, because perm secs are the important ones.

Gbajabiamila: This is the best budget of all time!

Omenka: Buhari will take us to El Dorado! Shame on IPOB youths.

Ngene: I'm so proud of Mr. President! This is a corruption free budget.

Beremx: At last, change has come!

TheShadyExpress: Hmmm... Something doesn't seem right.

Ngene: Sharrap! IPOB Youth!!!

Act 2:

BudgIT: This budget is fraught with fraud!!!

Caseless: Good observation, Omenka! IPOB Youths are full of hate!

BeremX: iStandWithBuhari!

PremiumTimes: This budget is inflated!

Omenka: IPOB Youths have hacked PremiumTimes.

Caseless: Damn you IPOB Youths!

PunchNG: This budget allocated more for information than agriculture, but claims it wants to diversify our economy.

Omenka: Nnamdi Kanu, is that you? How were you able to sneak that phone past the prison guards and into your cell?

Ngene: IPOB has hacked PunchNG.

Vanguard: Fayemi budgeted 790million for a website.

StOla: It's very understandable. Web protection costs a lot these days.

PapaBrowne: Are you fucccking kidding me?

Ngene: Sharrap dia IPOB!

TonyeBarcanista: I rushed in immediately I heard someone say "protection". Anything for me?

Beremx: iStandWithBuhari

Act 3:

SenateNGR: The budget is missing!

StOla: Phew! I support Buhari on this! Many items in that budget were simply inflated.

Omenka: Good call, Buhari. Now, correct those figures.

Caseless: Finally, Baba can correct those inflated figures.

SenateNGR: The budget has now been found, but it appears to have been tampered with. Figures haven't been reduced per se, but just interchanged.

Omenka: Cool. I like them like this.

Caseless: Me too! I like them this way. It's good he didn't correct it.

Ngene: Baba, you are the best.

StOla: Uh, yeah, totally. It's good he didn't change it afterall. Baba knows best.

TonyeBarcanista: Is protection still there?

Beremx: iStandWithBuhari

Act 4:

SenateNGR: The figures are inconsistent. Let's observe a break.

Caseless: Saraki is Kwarrapt.

Liar Mohammed: This is not my budget. I didn't write it.

Isaac Adewole: I will present my budget.

PMB: Rats padded the budget.

StOla: This is all GEJ's fault somehow.

Arresa: The perm secs are corrupt and under the employ of the Otuoke man.

Onatisi: You mean the same perm secs PMB preferred to work with for months?

Ngene: Sharrap dia IPOB Youth!

Beremx: iStandWithBuhari.

Act 5:

Liar Mohammed: The budget wasn't padded but I know this is GEJ's fault somehow.

StOla: I knew it!

Liar Mohammed: Well, in the mean time, let's cover up our incompetence by trending the Ekiti state election results that happened since 2014.

Should you, however, decide to limit your baseless revisionist babble to the other "Sai Baba" howlers, I will not begrudge you, for I never thought better of their reasoning capacity anyway.

In 1983, Buhari's myopic policies led to massive job cuts, particularly in the manufacturing sector due to the lack of raw materials as well as unfavorable business climate. Mind you, during this period, he was still busy chasing rats and jailing his opponents on trumped up charges - the Ambrose Allis, Sam Mbakwes, Tai Solarins, Alex Ekwuemes, Aper Akus, etc.

His ill-thought EssenCo had people queuing up to buy basic food, milk, sugar, toiletries, etc. like they were in Nazi Concentration camps, and you try to justify that nonsense.
Better ask the people who experienced that mess and stop trying to rationalize retrogression simply because of your partisan sentiments.

Politics / Buhari Curbs Nigeria Central Bank Independence To 'save' Naira - Bloomberg by Kenai: 10:45pm On Feb 19, 2016

Autonomy questioned as Buhari says he won't `kill naira'

Argument for naira devaluation overwhelming, says Afrinvest

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari erased any doubt about who is in charge of currency policy in Africa’s biggest economy -- to the detriment of the central bank’s independence.
Buhari said that he won’t “kill the naira” by allowing it to be devalued and that a weaker currency will only result in higher inflation and hardship for the country’s poor- and middle-class. His comments to Nigerians living in Kenya on Wednesday came only a day after Governor Godwin Emefiele resisted pressure to depreciate the naira despite a plunge in oil prices that’s slashed revenue in Africa’s biggest crude producer.

Definitely the independence of the Central Bank of Nigeria at the moment is undermined,” Robert Omotunde, an analyst at Afrinvest West Africa Ltd., which manages the equivalent of $500 million, said by phone from Lagos. “It further dampens confidence in the Nigerian market. The argument for devaluation is so overwhelming on all fronts.”

Emefiele this week stuck to foreign-exchange restrictions that have caused capital flight, curbed output and led to the naira dropping to a record low on the black market. The central bank has pegged the currency at 197-199 per dollar since March to stem its slide amid a rout in oil prices.
More Convincing
While Buhari’s “mind is open and he’s prepared to listen to other arguments,” the central bank “is not a sovereign entity” and accounts to the presidency and Parliament, Garba Shehu, a spokesman for the president, said by phone.
“The thinking of the president is informed by advice from the central bank,” Shehu said. “He meets with the governor at least once a week, sometimes more than once. The president is in the loop.”
The central bank will hold a meeting with foreign-exchange officers from commercial lenders on Feb. 4 at 9 a.m. in Lagos. The aim is to discuss developments in the currency market and “offer contributions in charting the direction for 2016,” it said in a statement dated Jan. 27 and published on its website on Friday.
Ibrahim Mu’azu, a spokesman in Abuja for the central bank, didn’t answer two calls to his mobile phone or immediately respond to a text message requesting comment. Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun said in an interview last week that the central bank was “completely independent.”
Buhari’s critics will have to work much harder to convince him that “ordinary Nigerians will gain anything” from a devaluation, Shehu said separately in a statement on Thursday. That’s despite the policy causing a shortage of foreign-exchange and being criticized by investors and businesses for exacerbating the economic slump.
Recession Risk
The International Monetary Fund said growth was 3 percent in 2015, the slowest pace since 1999. A recession this year cannot be ruled out “should the status quo remain,” Andrea Masia, a Johannesburg-based analyst at Morgan Stanley, said in a research note on Friday.
“It seems like Emefiele’s just left it to Buhari,” Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Mark Bohlund said on Friday. “In the near term, monetary policy decisions look likely to be steered by the president, and according to policy prescriptions from another era.”
Buhari, 73, is a former general who last ruled Nigeria from 1983 to 1985.
Three-month naira forwards weakened 0.2 percent to 227 per dollar as of 3:12 p.m. in Lagos. That’s pared the best weekly advance on record, with the contracts rallying about 10 percent as traders scaled back the size of a potential currency devaluation following Emefiele’s decision on Tuesday. The black market rate has plunged, falling to a record 307 this week.
The governor called for coordination of fiscal and monetary policies to help steer the economy away from oil dependence, while offering few hints on whether he is ready to ease controls to compensate for a decline in crude prices, which have almost halved since June to about $35 a barrel. Nigeria relies on oil for most exports and two-thirds of government revenue.
“One would have expected the CBN to take decisions that are in the interest of the country, not whether the president likes the decision or not,” Afrinvest’s Omotunde said. “For the CBN to refuse to devalue at this point in time is enough reason for most foreign investors to stay away from the market.’

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-01-29/buhari-blights-nigerian-central-bank-independence-to-save-naira

There you have it. Slowly but surely, our institutions are getting destroyed by this feudalist and his over-centralised mode of thinking. When they usurp instutions they lack the cerebral dexterity to adequately lead, you have a recipe for disaster.
This was the exact same way our education system was completely destroyed, with socialist governments forcefully taking over missionary schools and running them to the ground. Now, you have the president making himself Petroleum Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister, CBN Governor and Minister of Finance all at once, even though we all know he lacks the requisite intellect to understand the intricacies of these portfolios; but his worshippers will defend it blindly.

When the initial warnings were made about investors leaving the country because Buhari had no policy direction, his worshippers said it was good news, and that those investors were IMF spies anyway grin
See the quality of reasoning?

All the same, I hope this article helps serve as deterrent to the Buhari worshippers who plan to lay the blame on Emefiele in the future (as usual, because we all know Buhari is an irresponsible coward who blames others for his blunders) --- Everything going on right now with the Naira is BY BUHARI'S DESIGN! Not Emefiele's, not Jonathan's, not Okonjo Iweala's, and certainly not Hannibal Lecter's!

Lai Mohammed is a disgusting, contemptible old man with no respect for the people that brought them into power.
This is the first time I'm witnessing a government that, even after winning the election, is STILL in CAMPAIGN MODE!

To even show you how lowly this man thinks of the iddiots that voted them into power, his FIRST role as minister of information was not about enlightening the people on the policies of the government for the sake of clarity, transparency and trust, but about GATHERING bloggers and Twitter warriors in Abuja, and paying them money in order to "SELF-CENSOR".
Are you kidding me?

He currently has an assignment that involves paying off the big media houses in order to underreport the Boko Haram attacks "so as not to embarrass the government"! My goodness! These people value IMAGE-MAKING over and above the lives of the people who voted them into power.

Call Jonathan whatever you like, but his supposedly "incompetent" administration was never HEARTLESS to the point of REDUCING human lives to "SOFT TARGETS".
30 people are blown to smithereens in markets and schools in Borno, and you call them "soft targets"?

We also haven't forgotten their December show of shame where they tried as much as possible to HIDE the fact that people were massacred in Borno state on the 25th. Even their useless internet minions **** tried to spin those lies but met a brickwall!

Lai Mohammed has yet to acknowledge the lives that have so far been cut short by Boko Haram since they assumed office. No word on Dalori, Maiduguri, Yobe or the other places, because they don't want to "embarrass the government". Ironically, most of those victims voted these iddiots into power.

What a lovely way to "Lead from the front".

Education / PHOTOS: Inside The Oregun "School Of Eyesore" - A Lagos State Secondary School by Kenai: 2:00pm On Feb 12, 2016

A very prominent reader of InsideManiland sent these very depressing pictures of a high school in the heart of Lagos State.

Oregun High School is an eyesore even with the rare privilege of being very close to the Lagos State seat of Power in Alausa, Ikeja, where the Governor’s office and the Lagos State House of Assembly are located.

It is difficult to imagine how students can learn under the heat with metal corrugated roofs covering them with the comfort of a ceiling.

An SS1 Classroom.

With a low wall separating classes, one wonders how two classes can be taught simultaneously without being drowned in the noise. No doubt, this school requires the attention of the State Government.

http://insidemainland.com/oregun-school-of-eyesore/

As can be seen in that SS1 classroom picture, the desks have "LASG Furniture 2010" written on them.
Yes, 2010, during the tenure of the most overbloated, most overrated governor in Nigeria's recent history.

Often times, I've seen some of his internet rats even proclaim him to be the best performer in education and everything under the sun, that it gets me wondering exactly if he's really done anything out of the ordinary! undecided
Look at a secondary school that would better pass for a chicken barn! Yet, the state was governed for 16 years by the glorious APC.

Would "Super Fashola" have really done anything special if he had Osun's, Ekiti's, Ogun's, Oyo's, Enugu's or Jigawa's allocation?

You see, it's important that we don't lose our heads when worshipping politicians for doing their fccking JOBS!
It's important that we learn to criticize without hate, and commend without glorification.
Drop the hero worship.

Iroh88:
Shoooo!! Where is the logic in this?? Who does that bill fits more than the Wailing Ipod Ekpas?? Isn't Orubebe one of their Heroes?? Or are they trying to tell us what he did was wrong and denouncing him?? cheesycheesy

Actually, it fits Omojuwa perfectly.
The boy initially tweeted that he'd never take Ben Bruce seriously, but Ben Bruce quickly retorted with, "Call me when people start dying because Omojuwa refused to take them seriously". It was a death blow that shattered Omojuwa's self esteem, and it didn't help matters that Twitter users began to retweet Ben Bruce's reply.

Omojuwa tried to stage a comeback by cooking up some convoluted story about Ben Bruce sleeping with people's wives including Stella Obasanjo, but the public simply wasn't buying into his nonsense and told him to grow up and act his age instead of trying to attack a man who has achieved more than he has in life. Omojuwa's ego was totally shattered.

The situation got worse when @AfricaFactsZone tweeted about Ben Bruce's achievements with the SilverBird brand, and Omojuwa (clearly frustrated that people weren't taking his side) said he wasn't surprised that AfricaFactsZone is a brand owned by a "wailing wailer" (Isima Odeh, an 18 year old Bini boy). Isima Odeh quickly stepped in and blasted him by saying he was content with his life and was happy he didn't need to lick politicians' butts to earn a living like Omojuwa did (this is an 18 year old boy taking a 30-something year old man to the cleaners!)
The comeback was so epic that Twitter went wild, retweeting Isima Odeh's tweet across the board.
A comedy account called @TrailerJamShow retweeted the exchange, bringing Omojuwa even more mockery and shame.

Omojuwa, realizing the game was up, tried to buy an escape route by alleging that the TrailerJamShow account belonged to a senator. And that was when the account replied him by saying, "Twitter Orubebe, if you don't want to keep getting jammed by trailer, stay on your lane".
And that was the end of Omojuwa's reputation on Twitter, as "Twitter Orubebe" began to trend in an instant.

So, if you ask me, Omojuwa ended up as the butt of jokes, as he was kicked and tossed around by Ben Bruce, Isima Odeh, Bimbocash and even the TrailerJamShow.

Just like I keep saying - Any person who calls himself/herself a true-blood Igbo, and foolishly follows the words of that crook Nnamdi Kanu, is a gullible fool.
See morrons wasting their lives over a psycho who contributed NOTHING to their upbringing but just woke up one day in London and began to spread hate from the comfort of his home, calling on people he NEVER helped develop to pick up arms and waste their lives, render their mothers childless and endanger their communities.
Ask the fucccking twaaat how many Igbo people he helped train in any school or vocational skill program. Ask the immbecile how many primary clinics or ANYTHING resembling a helping hand he ever rendered to his people. The vagabond just crawled out of NOWHERE to start preaching trash, and frustrated, jobless people fooled themselves into thinking he gave one FUCCCK about their interests!

I have told the GULLIBLE people on this forum that IPOB is nothing but an assemblage of SCAMMERS desperately trying to manipulate the Igbos emotionally into putting their lives on the line for a foolish selfish group.
The fact that these people have no qualms in coming online to tell LIES with their misleading pictures, claiming to meet with David Cameron, US Army, British Airforce, UN Bigwigs and the rest, should have been the first red flag!
STEALING pictures of dead people from the Rivers State 2015 electoral violence and claiming they belong to IPOBians gunned down in the cause, is the height of FRAUD!!!

Let me ask you, all this while they've been killing IPOB members on the streets, what has IPOB done for the bereaved families besides taking their gory pictures of the victims and UPLOADING them as their Facebook avatars just to gain sympathy? THESE PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS, SELFISH FRAUDSTERS, AND THE SOONER YOU FACE THAT REALITY, THE BETTER FOR YOU!
THEY ARE LOOKING FOR FOOT SOLDIERS, AND THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN GET THEM IS BY PLAYING ON PEOPLE'S SENTIMENTS AND SYMPATHY!

When Nnamdi Kanu was arrested, didn't the dumb IPOB iiddiots claim it was all part of his "grand plan" and that Buhari just played into his hands?
With the number of gullible IPOB miscreants killed so far, are you saying it was part of Nnamdi Kanu's plan to intentionally get captured SO HIS PEOPLE WOULD PROTEST AND GET KILLED IN THE STREETS?

Better check yourselves and open your eyes before you become another STATISTIC!
Use your lives for more important things like building our region, NOT constituting a nuisance and getting yourself killed over a fraudster who, at the very core, does NOT give a fuccck about you!

I'll be focusing on some posts made on this thread created during GEJ's tenure titled "Naira Now 172 To A Dollar. Why?"

Number 1
MyMouth:
Outcome from 16 years of misrule by PDP angry
My broda, it took all of 16 Years for Naira to fall to 172 under PDP, but JUST 8 months to fall to 313 (141 steps!) under APC. Choi!
In that case, God only knows how many wheelbarrows of money we'll be needing to buy a sachet of Milo after 16 years of APC.

Number 2
jcflex:
still GEJ fresh air.
and sm pple still wnt us to continue wit the man. I jst nid a change, either fr the same ss, north, sw, se, I dnt care.
Today, this dude is mute

Number 3
stinggy:
Motherland finally bankrupted cry
And every now and then you'll see NOI blabbing and quoting bizarre figures. Walahi, we've been sold for pittance.
GEJ is really fulfilling his destiny - To bankrupt and balkanize Nigeria. It will only get worse!
Bros, how far naa? GEJ has left oh. Now we have the Budget of Yams... But wait, did NOI cause this one too?

Number 4
Oyeneku3:
Phools..
And they come online screaming " GEJ till eternity "...
Gullible idiats..
Well, we now hear "FeBuhari". Nothing's still changed.

Number 5
twosquare:
if it goes on like this, i bet it will hit 200 to a dollar.
It's 313 now nigga. How about that? grin

So unfortunate that Buhari is surrounded by rogues, here was i thinking this woman was a better change agent. I just hope APC won't force Nigerians to go for KOWA party come 2019

Buhari is a rogue himself. The only difference being that he has a holier-than-thou delusion... Oh, and an army of zombies.

Hehehe. There they go again... Looking for scapegoats to hide their incompetence. But why should I be surprised?

When you have an incompetent, irresponsible iddiot for a leader, he will blame everyone and everything for his failures without accepting a shred of responsibility.
Here, their zombies are back with morronic threads, hoping to whitewash their leader's battered image. The soulless shills they are.

Ladies and gentlemen, do you recall the international gaffe committed by this same Buhari on September 2015, when the junketeer and his band of dunces embarked on a SIGHT-SEEING adventure in New York instead of attending the UN conference meeting on Insurgency? When they missed that meeting and the embarrassment went global, do you remember what happened next? They first lied that the meeting was UNOFFICIAL, hence unimportant; but when PremiumTimes exposed them as liars, they began to look for a scapegoat.
"Buhari's Team Accuses Ambassador Joy Ogwu Of Sabotage" was what followed. The illiterates weren't even ashamed of themselves, they went about trying to pin the blame on the poor woman for their hero's EMBARRASSING INCOMPETENCE. Their zombies went wild on Nairaland trying to spin it, while their inbred, slow-witted tribalistic monkeys even accused the woman of having a "BIAFRAN AGENDA" grin
Pray tell, what eventually became of that show? Shey the matter don die silently? Buhari and his team are FULLY aware that the bulk of his supporters are DIMWITS, and all it takes to keep them going is publishing some junk on the page of a newspaper whenever the man's incompetence is laid bare for the whole world to see. He has ABSOLUTELY no respect for them, and frankly, I can't blame him.

Wasn't this the same dunce who delayed appointment of ministers for 6 whole months while choosing to work with only Perm Secs? Didn't his dumb supporters equally try to run with that narrative that "Perm Secs are all we need"? He didn't accuse those Perm Secs of being Jonathan's men oh. Now he's been exposed with his disgusting budget and he's looking for a scapegoat. Tell me, did Perm Secs also draft the State House budget?

Mr. I-Am-Slow-To-Avoid-Mistakes shot himself on the foot and his supporters are aimlessly running around in panic. He has been TOTALLY exposed for the fraud he is. And please tell him to drop his fake "Anti Corruption" act, as we can all see it was nothing but a LIE.

A bad technician will always blame his tools.
