Non of you got the Op's question. He meant, your guy putting on only boxer, going outside to chill, if you would feel ashamed, normal or indifferent that the neighbours would think that you guys just had sex, he just came outside to have a fresh air. |

This is a true life story of what happened in my neighbourhood. A lady, Sandra ( not her real name) who had stayed with her Aunty for years after her graduation with out any good job or suitors coming forth, was fortunate to got a proposal from this young man, John.( not his real name too) They did traditional and white wedding early last year. Susan, (not her real name as well) is a girl friend to Sandra. Both ladies hail from one of the States in the South. Susan is a stylist. She is known with her sexy skills seductive prowess. If she notices that you are doing well, she does not give a damn if you are a married man or not. She sits facing the road as she works. As you are passing by her shop, as she is greeting, She will be flopping her laps so that you can see her G- string pant through her usually worn hot mini gown and skirt. Late last year, she lost her accommodation, she has been sleeping in her shop. Out of sympathy Sandra asked her to be coming into her flat to answer the call of nature. She was excited and it continued untill Sandra began to even feed her as well. Interestingly, any time Susan notices that Sandra is not at home, she will pretend as if she wants to use the toilet, purposely bending so that John would picture her " watermelonic" breast. This continued until one thing lead to the other. To cut the long story short. John threw Sandra his wife out and paid her off with one million naira. Rented another accommodation else where for her. Got the same for Susan, furnished it and today, Susan is in school, at the expense of John. Many people attribute this to the power of Voodoo. Which Sandra attests to. Sandra is frustrated, what would be your advice for her? |
Greetings to you all. I must start by saying happy democracy day to each and every one of you. I believe in democracy. It is worthy of noting that the worst democracy is better than the best military. I could remember in 1998, I was in secondary school, there was a debate organised by my school then. I was among those proposing the point that Nigeria will be a democratic Nation in 1999. Today, It is a dream come true. Ever since then, I have been a follower of the trends in Nigeria politics. In as much as we see USA as a model in this facet, I see Nigeria growing and developing beyond United States in terms of politics and democracy.I will high light on this, but it will be a topic for another day. In 1999, We all know how we were all made to believe that a multi party system is more democratic. The political party were getting up to thirty to fifty. Meaning, every body should be given the platform to vote and be voted. But in realism, it divides the nation into a faction, there by allocating much powers to the party at the helm of affairs. Today, we are gradually narrowing down to two party system. Where each and every one of them is battling to buy the people's mind. We all know that when two Elephants fight, the grasses suffer. The sweet battles between the APC and PDP is doing more good than harm to the citizens. The opposition party will continue to tackle the ruling party while the ruling party will be striving to dish out political dividends to the people so as to prove the opposition wrong in all sphere. Now, I think I have got a question to ask most of you who are also political observers. The aim of this is not to derogate any political party but we are a watch dog that will hold them on the neck for them to deliver their campaign promises. Get your pen and paper ready. Attempt at least four questions. If PEDEPE is constant, while AAPECIE is variation, and if one year should be used for blaming, with the aid of diagram: 1- Discuss the probability of AAPECIE blaming PEDEPE for the next three years for: i- Dollar increase. ii- Fuel Price increase. iii- Firing of employed workers. iv- Fulani Headsmen killings. 2- Define the term, " Budget Padding ". 3- Mention three types of AAPECIE propaganda you know and how they can be used in 2ist century politics. 4- Mention the next three countries PMB will travel to. 5- Write short note on this cool phrases; a- Masquerade dressing. b- Importation of grass. C- Fantastically corrupt. If you used to be corrupt, but now fantastically corrupt, explain vthe effect of gravitational force on you. Thank you. |

Three Pastors met and decided to share their problems, as they say, " a problem shared is a problem solved".these are meant to be kept secret among three of them. The first Pastor said, " my problem is money, I even steal from the Church offering, just to get ends meet. Please pray for me". The second Pastor, " mine is women, I have slept with almost all the ladies choristers, please pray for me". Turning to the third Pastor to hear his, he started crying, it took his friends some time to calm him. When they asked him to continue, he was still crying, he said, " my problem is gossiping, when we leave here, every body will hear what two of you have just told me", please pray for me" The other two Pastors fainted. |
NwaTeacher1:Can you specifically tell me how Ikwerre is more Igbotic than Nsukka? Nsukka, Ikwerre, Ngwa, Ohafia, nkanu, mbaise, nteje, nando, and so on speak their dialectical Igbo language, after which we have a central Igbo through which we all connect. This is so in every language including Hausa, Yoruba and in even English language. Please don't type what you don't know about Nsukka next time. When it comes to the migration of the Igbos, it was at Nsukka,( the first place in the entire East) the Eri first settled before he took off and later chilled at Nri. |
Greetings to you all. In a bid to reduce the sufferings of the people, as a result of the increment of the Fuel Price and as well as fulfilment of the campaign promises made by the Government in power, during their electioneering, some palliative measures have been listed out. Basically, this is a good gestures by the government, just to show that they have the people who voted them into power in about a year ago in mind. In as much as these measures are good, I still see some of them as not being healthy to our national economic stamina, considering the current economic status of our nation. Firstly, the five thousand naira monthly payment to the very poor Nigerians for the period of one year. Since this payment is not going to be continuesly, the next government to come might not heed to this since it has not been passed into law. It is just in one party's manifestos. The short term relief it can create will have little or no significant effect in our economy at large. Again, it will also hike inflation and its effect will be an economic waste by the government as we are already hit by one. Secondary, the 5.5 million primary school children that is to be fed for 200 days is a baldadash to me. Yes it is so to me because, after these number of days, what happens next? Like I stated above, it should have been made continuesly and the results will also be the same as I stated above. Remedies; I would wish the government to go deeply on human resources and man power developments in these forms listed below; (a) The five hundred thousand unemployed youths that is to be trained and be engaged and be paid is a welcome development. (b) The 5.8 billion naira that is to be influxed into educational grant is also commendable. (C) The 140.3 billion naira that is set aside for market women and men ( as a soft loans with out collateral) is acceptable. And aslo; Fertilisers should be made available and not just available but affordable for the farmers and even the peasant farmers in the remote areas. Like wise poultry feeds, fish feeds, cattle grasses and so on. That is not all, infrastructural developments. If government should embark on massive infrastructural developments, this will go a long way in even provision of jobs and alleviation of poverty directly or indirectly. Is it needful for me to be mentioning the provision of good roads, health care and it's facilities, good water, electricity and so on? Ajaokuta Steel Company should be activated and be made to be functioning in full scale. Private bodies and individuals should be given free access in building of refineries. this is a bed rock to our industrialisation. In a nut shell, this is what the government owes the people and not just giving out five thousand naira for no just cause and feeding of school children for a specific number of days. |

Good morning to you all. In as much as today is marked as "World Malaria Day", I would like us all to wage war against this dreaded insects called Mosquitoes. During the period of our colonialism, ill effects of mosquito's bite which causes malaria resulted in the deaths of many white men which made them to tag Africa, " white man's grave ". I am concentrating on mosquito because if there will be no mosquito, there will be no malaria. It is only the female mosquitoes that transmit this deadly disease. Yes it is because it feeds on blood. Male mosquitoes feed on nectar and do not transmit the disease. Do you know that the life span of a female mosquito is forty- two to fifty-six days while that of a male is ten days. Do you know that when it bites a pregnant woman, it is an important cause of stillbirths, infant mortality, abortion and low birth weight. Do you also know that ill effect of its bite which is malaria is classified into either " severe or uncomplicated " by the World Health Organisation. (WHO). It is severe when any of the following criteria are present, otherwise it is considered uncomplicated; 1- Decreased consciousness. 2- Significant weakness such that the person is unable to walk. 3- Inability to feed. 4- Low blood pressure. 5- Two or more convulsions. 6- Breath problems. 7- Circulatory shock 8- Kidney failure. Since this year's theme for the World Malaria Day is "End Malaria for Good", is it possible that malaria can be eliminated and Mosquitoes completely wiped out? Yes I think, there are some preventive and attacking measures through which this menace can be curbed. Medication: Some malaria preventive and curative drugs are made to be sold over the counter so that every body can have free access in this fight against this disease. Mosquito elimination and prevention of its bites: Nets, insects repellents, spraying of insecticide and draining of standing water should be a habit we should form. In as much as malaria and Mosquitoes elimination were achievable in Europe, America and some part of north Asia, if all hands is on deck, we can equally achieve that and eventually end malaria for Good. |
[quote author=FreeBSD post=44879884]Hell no. How can she cheat? It's not fair[/quote But you can cheat!!! What's good for the goose is good for the gander. |
FreeBSD:Specifically, we're discussing marriage not just a relationship. Is your wife free to cheat too? |
FreeBSD:The constitution you are talking about is an English law, the Christianity you are talking about was brought to us by the same English men. Mark it: "they go parripasue ". Haven't you wondered why you call this, white wedding or Church wedding? That is to say, English wedding or Church wedding. Are you still far? |
FreeBSD:Don't you know that constitution is drawn from people's culture, norms and value. How ever, we still have customary court, where cases related to people's beliefs are tried. Secondary, the constitution you also said you have regards to, have high esteem to our Christian believe which is a part of the society we are talking about. Christian believe and constitution go parripasue. |
FreeBSD:You belong to the society. You must be guided by the societal codes. If not, you are wild and if you are wild, you will still be curtailed by the societal codes. |
FreeBSD:Gent, if you are married, you are not free to cheat. It is against the societal norms and value in which we dwel. Be it traditionally or religiously. Let me start with the tradition because I know it might be your bedrock for argument. African culture is such a wonderful culture in the sense that, before the introduction of Christianity, we believe in good conducts, good values, norms and morals. It is a taboo for a man to leave his wife and starts bleeping with another woman out side. Even though he does it, he does it in secret. You can't be proud of doing it.I don't think you can tell this to your kids. In our traditional setting, if you like, you marry ten, it is no body's deal. But you can't be pissing about out of marriage. It is seen as abomination. It is also applicable to Koranic rules. You can marry four. But it is also rejected that you will be shitting around as well. I don't think you need to be told from a Christian perspective. Love your wife and let your wife love you. Before you got married to her, there was something unique you saw that got you chilled. Rekindle it and experience a blissful family life. |
Hello people. I have been telling most of my friends both married and unmarried that when ever I get married that I MUST not cheat. They argued that it's not what I can do. It's not that I am a saint but there are somethings one does not do, putting religion or morality aside. There are people who do not smoke, some do not drink and every body must not womanise. Let me now put down some factors that prompted me to get to this conclusion. Firstly, it's a bad habit. It's well known that a habit is very easy to start and very difficult to stop. Check it out, you are in a relationship either with a girl or a guy. Once the relationship gets sours and break up occurs, either of the man or the woman would wish to have a new date immediately, so that he or she might not get hurt completely or the emotional wound got, might heal immediately. Secondary, it's an economic waste. You can agree with me that most young ladies who date married men do this because of financial or material benefits they get from them. These men are bent in spending heavily on these ladies just to "buy" their conceince. If you can spend fifty percent of the amount you are spending on that girl out side on your wife. You will agree with me that your wife will look like the most beautiful girl in the world. Thirdly, bond, love depreciates. In as much as love grows, love dies. When you start having an affair with another lady out side. The intimacy between you and your wife will begin to reduce. Sooner or later, you will begin to compare her s*x prowess with that of your wife. Fortly, when the number three happens, it is a threat to the survival, growth, development and the existence of that family. Fiftly, the man is prone to contacting of diseases and this is suicidal if I may say. My Piece of Advice I do not think there is any difference between Sandra and Kassandra. It is still that euphoria you get with your wife you can still get with another lady out side. Like some people will jokingly say; "when you eat egusi, u also eat ogbolo". It's a high time you and your wife spiced up your s*x life. Explore it, invent new skills, styles and what so ever. This will make it all magnetic and seductive. I do not mind chatting s*x with my wife. To add it up, marry whom you love. Do not marry out of sympathy or pity. " let me marry her to help her, or I have dated her for long, if I don't marry her..." Or marrying her because of her social stratification or wealth. Do not be over ambitious. It is true that one should aim high and dream big. Some would like to marry a lawyer or a doctor. If he or she is one, you will see him or her 'dieing" to live with him or her. Simply because, he or she is a lawyer or a doctor. In addition to this, I would like all nairaland ladies, especially the married once, even the unmarried too, to look neat, romantic and trendy for your husbands and husbands to be. Meet you in the next episode. Kenmatt. |
Greetings to you all. Please, I do not think there should be a cogent reason what ever why you should not go to Church today. In the few hours to come, thread like; " why you did not go to church today" will be cropping up. I wouldn't wish to see that today. I am here by encouraging us all to go to Church today. I am looking forward to seeing a thread like this today; " one special thing I benefited in Church today" God bless you all. |
Most of the roads stated here were all "hand work" of the former administration under Amechi. |

Greetings!!! In many occasions, I have found brides crying at the point she is being handed over to her husband after the wedding. I began to ask my self if she is crying because she is about missing her family members henceforth or it is just phobia of the new man, new home and the new life. Nairaland ladies, who among you will cry and who among you will not cry that day? |
As it rained this afternoon, a part of old Refinery road, by the junction of Eliminigwe Estate has been flooded with water. Most of the motorists are reversing their cars. Some who insisted not to reverse had no one to blame as it has caused a little damage in their vehicles. Either the kick starter or the ignition has developed faults It is causin a total interlocking traffic congestion. See pics below:

Which among your teachers in Secondary School was exceptional? I can't still forget Mr Walter Okereke. He acquired much skills and articulation in teaching. He was teaching us Government and Economics. This man was very good that I was confused then if I should take Economics or Law as a course to study in University. Lets read yours |
Happy Easter to you all. Today, Christians all over the world mark and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. In this context, I would like to bring to you the effect of the cross, Christ's death and His resurrection. Cross - cross is a geometrical figure consisting of two straight bars. Cross has a very big significant in Christianity as it is known as a sigh or symbol of Christianity. Cross also signifies suffering. Some Christians wear cross, it is not as a fashion but he or she associates him or her life with the suffering Jesus Christ suffered with the cross for mankind's sake. Cross is also a symbol of relief. In the book of Numbers 21:9. Moses made a bronze snake ACCROSS a bar. Any body that looked upon it got relief and was healed. In the book of John 19 :17-18. Jesus was crucified on a cross and getting down to the book of Hebrew 12: 2, Christians were advised to also do the same by looking unto Him, because He is the "alpha and the omega" of our faith. Christ's death - He died a sacrificial death on the Cross so that our sins will be erased. Hebrew 9:38. This is a death you and I would have died but He died that we may have everlasting life. Resurrection- The joyous thing about Christ's resurrection is that it was the hope of Christians and this hope was made real. If he had not resurrected, we wouldn't have been talking about Christ and Christianity. Thanks be to God He has resurrected. As a result of this, any thing about you that seems to have died, shall also resurrect in Jesus name. |
