I was expecting to read something substantial. The only word I have to type here which brings every crap written here to a nonentity is the acquisition of "veto power" to the President which is enshrined in the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria. |

Ma bebe crooner, get well soon. It's nature. But you need to be sophisticated in the game of artistry. No wonder Timaya sent you packing with originality in his profess. |
Chineke eh!!! |
What is your score in JAMB? |
I have never been Efe's fan. But on this, I think he has dropped a key point. Believe it or not, it's a gospel truth. |
I no dey even see any swarg sef |
Figure of speech is a grammatical style you can use to high light your sentence either by comparison or simply identification. As in metaphor and simile. while Idiomatic expression has much deep meaning that has nothing to do with the simple comprehension of the sentence as it is conveyed on the sentence. Thus; you do not have to understand it literally as it looks or sounds |

Greetings to you all. Please I would wish if any one who has any useful information to help my neighbor's son who wrote the just concluded JAMB to furnish him with the detailed information. He got 231 in Jamb and he put University of Port Harcourt. Civil law to be precise. Please can he get admitted into his desired course choice or should he change a course. Meaningful contributions are highly welcomed. Moderator, if you can push this to a front page where it will generate much contributions, it will be a welcome development. Thanks to you all. |
I do not need to beg any moderator to push a post to the front page. If a post is front page worthy or generates much comments, it'll see itself at the front page. |
Greetings to you all. I just want to scrutinise the outlook of apprentice among Igbo business people. It is a general norm among Igbos that a young boy will be sent to learn a trade under the tutelage of a man that becomes his master after he finishes school, be that primary, junior secondary or senior secondary. This happens most especially when the young man's family are financially constraint in pursuit of further education for their son. Others happen when the boy is poor academically or wishes to go and learn the trade to become a business man. It is expected that after he must have finished not just this apprentice but a slave-like service under his master, whithin a stipulated time, ranging from five to six years, his master settles him by setting up a similar business for him through which he becomes master and gets another boy and the circle curves. On this process, many things are bound which I might not want to write it all because most of you are lazy to read when it becomes lengthy. Please, I am sorry, if this offends you. But many of these boys see hell on earth during this time-out. There are two phrases that go with this phenomenon. Thus; either it "makes you" or it "mares you". This can "make you" when you are fortunate to have a good master who would always stick to his pledge after you must have suffered for him in growth and development of his business, he settles you accordingly and spur you up to become a success. Their are notable Igbo business billionaire whom Ibeto is one among them who passed through this process and this is where they are today. It can also "mare you" when you enter into the hand of "shylock" type who would use you and dump you. Some might level one allegation or the other when the time for your settlement draws nearer. Giving a dog a bad name just to hang the dog. The most painful part of the B part is, when after a young man must have spent such number of years, which might even exceed the five or six years agreed in learning and serving his master, if any thing happens and his master do not settle him or settle him very well, if not for an intervention of God, that young man will become less use in the society because he has spent a lengthy period of time doing this and after which his age has come up, some might find it difficult to go and "bend" again to learn something else and resorts in becoming nuisance in the society or tout. Most of the young and old men you see in menial jobs are product of this. There are some bad eggs among the "boys" too. Whose missions are to steal, save and splash their masters' cash. While others syphon and transfer their masters' money, hoping to bounce back on it when they become free. Others loot their masters' treasure and varnish to the thin air. I would advise, if you want to do this, don't do it with one who does not relate to you in any way. Except in rare occasions, it works out. But with God, everything is possible. |
Greetings to you all. Sequel to the topic on how to get a good tetant, I think it is needful to highlight on how to get a good landlord. As we proceed, who is a good landlord? A good landlord is he who maintains peaceful co-existense between himself and his tenants. And not the one who thinks he is a master over his tenants. A good landlord glues to his words. Not one that will promise heaven on earth in terms of major repairs or restructures he should do but as soon as money hits his account, he turns a deef hear. A good landlord is not one who thinks that his tenants are his Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) who would like to exploit his tenant in any available opportunity. Some go as far as inflating some utility bills in detriment of their tenant and increases the house rent more often than expected. Now, how can you get a good landlord? You don't have to be in a hurry to pay for the house as some of the property agents will induce you to belief that some other people are hell bent in paying for the house especially when they have seen that you like the house. Take a time and do a little survey. Privately get other tenants or neighbours and have a verification on who and the kind of a person the landlord is. Make sure the man has something doing to earn a living. Above seventy Percent of landlords who do not have any thing doing to earn an income except the old and retired and sit at home and eventuly rely on the proceed of the rent are tend to be troublesome. Before you make that payment, endeavour to meet him in person. This will help you have a psychophysical analysis of whom he is. A landlord who get angry over any flimsy provation and looses his temper is not good to go with. Above all, the best options still remains to get a house where the landlord does not live. Have a blissful mid week. |
Vivi, what's on that second to the last finger of your left hand? Don't tell me that you are chained because... Let me reserve my comment |
I wouldn't want you to hurriedly rush to answer this question but thoughtfully do so. Can you avoid s*x for your entire life and earn for your self thirty billion naira? |
I doff my cap for Onwa! Owelle Rochas Okorocha. In Doncan Mighty voice; "Akonuche is better than money". |
