Some Batches of Xasten (Vixa brand of dexamethasone tablets) were withdrawn from circulation some months back due to certain concerns by authorities, for this reason many Pharmacys and prescribers have ruled out the brand for the time being.
My advice is to go for another brand of dexamethasone, a brand that has no negative affiliations. Ensure that you obtain the right strength of the drug (either 0.5mg or 1mg ) please let your Pharmacist guide you, Dexamethasone is a steroid and wrong usage may lead to harm. |

IDEAS
Pretty little nothing, That gives us many monies, may be plus our studies, It gives us fame and fortune,
the masters like the slaves, the monkeys like their preys, We all need this idea Not one, not two but many.
Let's pray it comes in the morning, as at when our heads are empty, or later in the day, When we've studied more and prayed.
Let's hope it comes in summer , When natures beauty is thicker, but better in the winter , When farms refuse our tools.
Let's wish it comes today , When our hearts are still in rhythm, but never in the morrow, When life may stray away. Let's know it comes from Christ. He gave His own for ours,
Perhaps from you my friends In faith you are one in Christ... ...Monk... |

WORLD PHARMACISTS DAY. Nigerian pharmacists shouldn't just celebrate
Cheers pharmacists I bet you are owning the day already ,its three six five days, since we celebrated pharmacists ,the climate has changed, the people are changing the tittle remains as mighty "pharm". Pharmacists have fixed problems, those ones from the scary tales , the drug market is prove that their heart beats, their lungs are functional and their pupils are intact, pharmacists are alive, on a two four seven campaign against diseases indeed, their is life without a pharmacist, a sick life, a painful one, a dying one.
Like the Nintendo with its stages, so has been the fight, infectious diseases have been amazing thanks to the complexity of bacteria genetics, sometimes it is a blow to their faces, they go right back to start all over again other times they win but with their sleep time and lunch money sacrificed. chronic diseases have taken over their dreams they now see complex physiology with closed eyes . Like the story of our grand chemist kekule, pharmacists get crazy in their dreams, they dream of personalising your therapy, imagine going to the hospital and you are given a special care, a special pill a special fluid, because you are you and no one else can get that type of treatment because they they are them. patients personality, a huge challenge , several islets of patients with what they hate or don't like, pharmacists have to figure out the problem of Mr A, he hates to swallow blue tablets or miss B she is not comfortable with the regimen, she wouldn't mind one tablet a week. I watch Pharmacists run to business schools to study economics , they wish you spend less on those drugs, especially those ones you have to take every day ,the prices of drugs were so complex that understanding chemistry actually helps in dealing with issues of cost, " excuse me sir ,hello madam, can we give you this one, it cost much less and it does pretty much the same thing "have you heard this from an angels lips , It's been rewarding for those who took the oath with their own lips. The custodian of poisons the legal drug dealers the priests in the temple of drug therapy, the chemical clinicians ah, you can call them all that, it describes them A little more than celebration is what Nigerian pharmacists need, they are facing the right direction but the earth circles the sun and comes back to meet them here in their in their branded coats with the branded cars and perhaps branded houses, Believe me just last week in one of the towns or villages, a boy died of malaria he is twelve or less he didn't get the drugs we have in our world , it's sad, he could have become a pharmacist an engineer or an artist , he might have the solution to that plague that will threaten some persons or place in the future. , a girl teen and naive got pregnant she didn't get the information we have in our world. They may force her to get married, they may treat her badly, and she is only a child Some where in this nation right now, young persons are initiated into this drug cult drinking and smoking hard toxins the very ones the pharmacists are placed incharge of , they are chained up for life, they may never see the sun the same way again, imagine the hopelessness these are the occupants of the green and red chambers, the ones who should wear white coats or the black regalia with the wig, they are same people who should dress smartly for combat now they are taken far away from our reach Today is twenty fifth, the world knows what today is, for years now the trend in celebration has been quite the same, a lot of stories will fly around, speeches and promises of alliance and commitments will surface concurrently in the same voice as of years past, They will speak of the cure for cancer been worked on in the US, the HIV research, a sport race amongst intellectuals in India, they will even speak of the chemical markets and the drug synthesis happening in Israel and the Arab nations and then diseases in Africa, they will say of Bilhazia and mosquitoes resisting their poisons, they will say we need help and call on to our friends abroad to come and do the work that pharmacists here are so scared of In my opinion, we should be more scared of loosing those herbs in the southern swamps, the shrubs in the Savannah and the grains that stretch towards the Sudan, we should be scared of loosing young scholars, to the glittery of music and fashion and fame .what doom will cover us if no one can take up from pharmacists when their bones fail , knowledge dies with people in this country, materials for drugs are food and furniture the rest are manure. As you celebrate today holding wine or salad may be you are at work compounding with porcelain motor or rationalizing your patients prescription, if you will give a seminar today, a talk or a lecture , even if you've lost hope in the profession and on verge of taking a new dimension, may be you are not a pharmacist but share my sentiments, take a moment to meditate

Jman06: You are just ignorant. Aside functioning in the hospital, the pharmacist functions in in industry, administration, education, research, community pharmacy, etc. In industries, they serve either as production pharmacists and quality control officers. They also serve as company representatives in hospitals and pharmacies to enhance sales. When multinational companies come into the country, they engage pharmacists as medical reps to help facilitate sales of their products and they pay in hard currencies.
Hospital pharmacists don't just dispense drugs like some ignorant people are saying here, they also correct errors in doctors prescriptions and engage in formulation of extemporaneuos formulations, and very soon in nigeria they would begin to participate in ward rounds as in other countries.
Nigeria needs more pharmacists where I study , pharmacy students go on rounds, thanks for the enlightenment , to add a little , hospital pharmacists don't just dispense, they check and validate prescriptions through a combined knowledge of pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacology, pharmacists look out for drug-drug interactions, drug -food interactions, contraindications and better therapeutic options the knowledge of formulation aids pharmacists to give advice on proper drug use especially for injectable preparations , there is so much in pharmacy, if you don't have the passion for it , you won't see it. I am glad I deed. |

Romance › Re: The Truth About Low Self Esteem - Newbeginninngs by kennedymonk(m): 10:41am On Mar 06, 2017 |
Newbeginnings: This is not just any writeup, but for those who want to add more to themselves and improve their confidence.. If you are reading this.... Sit down and build yourself, because you deserve to be better than you are right now... and remember practice makes perfect..
Self - Esteem is confidence, confidence is how great you feel about yourself, how great you think about yourself, and no how great you think people say you are or feel you are...
Low self esteem is a situation where you compare yourself with society or people, asking questions such as am I up to his/her standards? Will he/she accept me? Will they like me if they see me? or saying I am not good enough? I am not up to her level look at her phone/clothes/accessories... I am not up to his level look at his car/women/houses/clothes..
Low self esteem is a situation in which you care about what people think, feel, say and use what people think, feel and say about you to live your life, you use it to measure yourself and describe who you are, to measure how valuable you are.. remember for you to be valuable to others you have to be valuable to yourself and believe that you are valuable in yourself...
Gaining confidence starts by creating your own rules, values, standards for yourself and being in control of your thought and what others think about you..
Most people with low self esteem don't have a direction in life, they don't have plans for their future, they don't even know where they are going.. they are just living life and by God's grace they say....... they live life according to the what they see and not according to who they are and that is why society easily influences them and makes them lose vision of who they truly are and they start comparing themselves with others in the society.
Self esteem is confidence, confidence is how great you fell about yourself. How valuable you say you are in respect to yourself and not to others... not saying that I am more valuable than a begger or people living on the streets... No!.. you can only feel great and valuable of yourself in respect to yourself when you know who you are, your ambitions, plans, potentials and knowledge.. saying you wish to go to school, get a job, get married and have a family... those are not plans or ambitions... That is the way society makes it to be and that is why you are easily influenced and compare yourself with others.. because you are living according to society and not according to who you are..
Saying that you wish to go to school, get a job, maybe own a business, get married and have a family... those are not ambitions or plans .. that is another version of what the society creates for people to live by... If I love art and fashion and I live by it.... and I say when I go to art school, I will come out... and join an art organization.. make myself known in the art world... create a platform for young Nigerian artists to gain exposure.. build art gallaries and then maybe get married and have a family... Now those are ambitions and then I plan for them...
With this you are living according to who you are with your ambitions and plans leading you through life.... This way you wouldn't even think about comparing yourself to others but you be more interested with where you are headed because you know who you are, and you know why you are on this planet earth...
Low self esteem is when you wear a cloth, which you think is fine, but wait till your friends confirm it before you go anywhere because you are afraid of looking bad and they are your judge... without them you can't go anywhere..
High self esteem is when you tell your friends to dress you that you want to trust them that day... You are not relying on them, but just giving them an opportunity to show themselves with all those advises they have been making noise with ever since.. No matter what they dress you with, it is when you say it is great that it is great...
I will stop here... hope you remembered to take down key points... But one thing is that if you think you are not strong enough to take control of your life right now ... you should said you are not strong enough to urinate... Which is an utter lie..
So I am telling you... with knowledge of who you are.. take control of your life.. plan it step by step, ambitions, goals, and plans with knowledge and understanding and with a well defined life... you wouldn't have space for low self esteem..

WARRIOR'S SANDALS..
Pretty dusty cotton, yellow greyish growth, A fires mark above it,a centre sinking sun Hard, heavy, Holy, hot.
"Take the shoes, fit in your feet, Squeeze some part, let it stand, Get to war, walk and win, Brave don't fall, the sandals are on. "
I wanted my own carve, My sandal from my sweat, To wear them first, first wear them to war, Win, wonder, wail or leave a trail... 1 Like |

I'll agree with you that there are truly stories that are never told. But what's about them? You are to tell us this and beside I think the write up is somehow blurred in regards to the genre of literature which this should appropriately be. No offence inteneded. THE STORIES WE DON'T HEAR
It's night again, and there is the moon in the skies of the Plateau , it's chill not really cold. I settled in grandma's hut to hear these beautiful stories. Yesterday it was the tortoise, what would it be today, the Fox?, I raised my eyes and once more noticed the beautifully knitted thatch that covered us from the sky. I hear folks living under galvanized iron roofs hear the stories differently, their stories are usually read to them while they pleasantly smile to sleep, it is mostly about beautiful princesses and their pauper lovers, lucky maids who get to charm the Prince, some dragon and so much of funny magic. I wanted to hear these stories, " Grand ma tell a different story " I said , was slave trade really real, did we have people transported bound in weighty chains, is it true that the peace of our Palace was distorted and a mockery made of our royalty, Its true, she didn't tell me but look at her eyes , she's weeping, it's true These are the stories we don't get to hear.... 2 Likes |
