2 days ago, i started noticing that my right eye go blur under the sun, yesterday it grew worst that i couldn't see clear with that eye under the sun, tears kept flowing down that eye and it kept closing like am sleepy, once it's night time the eye becomes healthy.

This morning, i woke up and discovered something like coverage in that eye that made my vision blur, like something was pasted on my eyeball, i used the mirror but nothing was there. Am preparing to go to the hospital now but feel like sharing it here for any advice

And once that didn't happen - they started the insurgency that broke the US' back, hence people tend to call the Iraqi insurgency the real US-Iraq war. As for Afghanistan: the country had no military and they're basically tribal goat herding militias with AK47 and RPGs. Evidently, none of these two countries had any army, if we're being honest. Ukraine (the 2nd biggest country in Europe) on the other hand had the largest army in Europe (only 2nd to Russia before the war) that was trained for 8yrs by NATO and was supplied the most sophisticated weapons.

The logistics problems Russian forces faced during the initial phase of this campaign were actually exaggarated due to this being arguably the first global war that happened during the social media era where you can see everything in real time and a lot of it is also propaganda. Most of these logistics problems weren't even because the Russians were incompetent - it was mostly because they didn't go in with an intention to fight a war of attrition. They went in thinking Ukrainians wouldn't put up a fight and would try to save their cities. Then both can get to the negotiating table. Hence they invade with a smal number of combatants and kept matching without guarding their rear. And that's basically why those ambushes were successfully. However, since they moved on to phase 2 and put their feet down to fight - how come the exaggerated logistics problems disappeared?

LMAO @ CSG and MQ-9B like China and Russia don't have advanced EW that would jam those overrated interfaces. Small Iran captured a much more advanced US drone that's superior to MQ-9B, with EW, without breaking a sweat. Ever wondered why even American F-35 stopped going anywhere near Iran? Well, it's because Russia gave Iran radars that can detect them from far away and knock them out of the sky. Now, imagine what Russia and China would do to them. Some of you just throw out names without any understanding of what the other side has.

BTW, China just launched semi-submersible surface ships. Russia on the other hand has stealth Corvettes that are fully submersible - so they can go under water or act as surface ships. NATO countries including the US don't have those capabilities. And when it comes to EW - there's no match for Russia right now in the world

I am faced with choosing between working in one of the breweries here in onitsha as a casual for 35k monthly and traveling to abuja be with an uncle who is into metal fabrication ( welding, painting and general sales of his product).

Thing is, if I am to stay here in onitsha...I have planned to save up 100-150k before next year to start a business my mom is currently into and she's doing pretty well in it .

While if I am to stay with this uncle in abuja, he agreed on teaching me basics of his profession like paint spraying with machine, and he also promised to set me up with trade in the welding industry as time goes on, but I will be placed on monthly salary after I must have learnt the painting process and stuff, ( mind you, his proposed salary is between 20-30k monthly).

My brothers and sisters, is welding something that can guarantee a good future in this present state of the country? Does it worth my time as a guy in his late 20's? Should I just continue with my 7-5 job ?

I have until 5th of april to decide. Thanks for your time.

I have two lovely kids with my wife - a girl and a boy. My son is six years old while his sister is eight. Both were born here in the US. I’ve done what I feel is right as a father to train these kids, but I know not everything can be done accordingly.

My son is restless. He has the attention span of three seconds before he gets distracted by something else. My mum tells says he is a copy of me when I was his age, but that was in the eighties and the way children were handled back then is totally different from today. He hardly wants to do anything in terms of school work and almost every day I get complaints from his teacher that he does not do his work or he is disruptive in class. When other students are doing their work, my son will be the one falling off his chair or hiding under his desk. His teacher told me he acts out when being corrected. Only yesterday my wife told me the teacher met her when she went to pick them up in school and told her that my son started yelling when the lights in the class started flickering. His behavior got so bad, they had to call the school security officer before he calmed down.

This behavior is really bothering me. I know my son is smart. His pre-school teacher once told me he was the smartest student she had. My son can do complex mathematical equations off the top of his head that even his older sister struggles to do. He has a very good memory and can list off all the types of trains that exist in the US, things that even I don’t know. It’s sitting down to be serious about work that he can’t do and can’t seem to focus on.

I enrolled him in a soccer club to see if that would help him expel his excess energy. At first he seemed to be lazy as he gets frustrated easily, and rather try harder, my son would rather give up and cry. I mostly have to encourage him to put in more effort, and most of the time he does not pay attention to what the coach says. The coach told me a couple of days ago that he wants to move him to a lower group level to see if he can build his confidence there.

I want to believe it’s his being the last born for now that’s worrying him. He seemed to start being a bit more mature when my wife got pregnant last year and he learnt they had a younger sibling on the way, but unfortunately, she miscarried and we lost the baby. I’ve been thinking for a while now whether to move back to Nigeria with everyone so that we can build some sense into both of them (my daughter’s story is another one). I’ve thought of taking them both for an ADHD test, but my wife is against that. The only time my son pays attention is when he’s doing something he likes, and that is when he’s playing the PS5 I got them or watching videos on YouTube Kids.

Any advice would be welcome from parents out there.
