It might be colic. It's peculiar to male kids. There are medications for it, but please see a doctor.

Registration is on Thursdays. But you have to go early because those lazy nurses have limits per day.

Registration fee is about 30k, I think 27,700 during my time and you'd be advised to come with cash to hasten the process.

After registration, you'd be taken to a hall for lectures and your vitals will be checked according to your number. You might be lucky to get scanned on the same day or be told to come back.

Then you go to records with your personal card given to book an appointment according to the date written on the card, and then you go home after a long day

I'd advise you go early if you want to return home on time

I am at my mom's place now.
It's just crazy when the one who claims to love you takes you for a fool.
I didn't have a dime on me since Saturday.
I was hungry throughout yesterday till I borrowed money from a neighbour to go to mom's place so I can at least eat.
My kids were hungry. My baby cried ehn. I bought sachet cerelac for her to manage. She stooled like crazy. When I told him that it makes her stool, he said I should continue it, her body will get used to it. I has to ignore and get Nutribom from a shop at our busstop to pay later. This was after he warned me to mind what I say to him.
I don't have a single pin that I can say I bought for myself this year.
Little capital that I was able to gather to sell small stuff this Christmas in my school, I was forced to use it to pay part of my children's school fees after they had been away from school for over 2 weeks.
And he is not bothered.
How many will I write? I am tired of complaining.
I just want to have something doing on the side so I can take care of myself and my kids. So many opportunities for me but thanks to Father Grace. Debts here and there so I can eat.
I'm a teacher.
My head wants to explode.
I need help.

Hmm, i want my baby to come out big, healthy and strong like his father. If the mother is not eating well enough that might be difficult. I hope this vomiting reduces drastically. But i will worry less now.

You will have a healthy baby by God's grace. But pity his mama by not making him too big

Hmm, even to the water she drinks she still vomits. We have visited and complained to our doctor. He says the nausea and vomiting will stop.

I had the same symptoms during my time. Nothing stayed down there. Hubby was really helpful because we tried several foods just to supply the necessary nutrients and to stay hydrated.

Surprisingly, it all stopped and eating returned to normal immediately 1st trimester was over.

Since you have a doctor's advice, worry less papa it will all soon be over.

My woman is in her third trimester (7th month to be precise) but her nausea and vomiting is becoming worse. She barely keeps anything she eats down.

To mothers who have experienced this, what can be done about this? I am really worried.

Some mothers experience nausea all through their pregnancy and some don't.

She can observe the foods that trigger throwing up and avoid them.

But I'd advice you visit your doctor, just in case of dehydration, exhaustion... just to be on the safer side.

Hello mums, my 7 weeks old baby has mucus at the back of her throat, you can hear the sound from her throat as if she has catarrh, but her nose is very free, the mucus makes it difficult for her to swallow and sometimes causes shortness of breath. We have been to the hospital and she was placed on injection for 3 days and given septrim, vit c and ibrupofen, today is the last day of the injection and I don't think the treatment has been helpful. She tries to cough on her own and clear her throat, for relief but it doesn't work, and she start crying, I don't know how I can help. Any one with advice and experience on this should please help me out.

Mama, please let the doctors know your observations.

I hope it's a government hospital she's being treated in? I believe they're more experienced than their private counterparts.

Also, try not to expose her to cold

My DD is 7 months old and is crawling. Lately, she has been trying to hold on on chair or people to stand up but we noticed her toes are always curled backwards. If we try to stretch it, she'll shift the weight of her body backwards like someone doing squats.
Please is this normal at the stage or is it something that needs to be checked at the hospital?

Some mamas throw up throughout their pregnancy while some don't. Other mamas throw up occasionally during pregnancy even when they are in their 3rd trimester. Just ensure to avoid what triggers it.

We were just discussing this morning about a name she said was trending for newborns and suddenly she made an alarming signal to indicate that something was wrong with her and before I could say jack she passout, with her eyes open showing only the white part i ran out to get help before I came back I saw her sitted and did not recognise what had happen to her. Please take her to the hospital and don't leave anything to chance.

There must be a reason for that.

Please don't wait, take her so that she will be checked and to confirm condition of the baby just to be double sure they're are okay as she said.

In my opinion, you took the right decision judging from the reasons you stated.

Graduating with a 2.2 in Nigerian universities these days is not easy.

You will get a good job depending on what you have to offer. So, develop yourself my brother. It's not the 1st class, 2.2 or 2.1 that matters sometimes.

You can write a professional course (ICAN, CIIN, CIPM etc) to augment your degree.

The maximum age expected to start walking is 18 months, while some kids make it earlier than that.
Since he crawls and climbs very well, he might just need a little support form you.

I'd advise you help him up, walk together around the house, praise and sing for him regularly. He just might need a confidence builder.

Give him foods and fruits high in calcium, phosphorus and potassium. Also include yogurt in his diet.

When he's ready, walking takes just about 2-3 days after learning to stand independently for some kids.

But if you see the need, you might want to speak to a paediatrician

You will get past questions from study centres or (codedly at the Institute)

But since you're writing the certificate level, which is usually objective questions, if you study the textbooks well enough you will pass them.
