rita25: i know its hurting expecially for TTC moms i wish God can replace a mothers womb with my baby but i truelly have no choice bearing the bills for 3 kids alone is hectic then adding a child i will just increase the pressure and the kid will suffer too.......i cant stay with anyone due to my job the kids school...as for my husband attitude i have asked the blood of my unborn to hunt him forever and may his side chick remain barren even if she eventually gets married for the pain they have caused me. I am practically lost for words. I may not understand what you're currently going through, but I feel for you. Please seek advice from your mum or a matured person, someone you can talk to physically before taking a decision. Please don't make troubles with him, your health and safety of you and your kids should be paramount. |

Abu23Rahman: EDD Feb 21/02/21 EDD Feb 22/02/21 EDD Feb 25/02/21
I'm 41 weeks gone .... should I still wait small or I should find how to induce labor.. I'm using a local maternity around my area and the only thing dey always check his my weight and the length of my stomach and blood pressure..
Pls advice me Good morning ma'am. Do you meet with a doctor on your ante natal visits or just the nurses? What are they saying about the vitals they check? Do you always ask if everything is okay? Do you monitor your baby's movements? When is your next ante natal visit? Are you feeling any signs of baby getting ready to come yet? By 'local maternity,' do you mean tradomedical practitioners or health centres? If the answer is health centres, please kindly request to see a doctor and let them examine you. They might need you to wait for some days, induce labour or cs, as the case may be. *On how to induce labour on your own: zobo drink, pineapple, dates, walks, sex, etc. But note that even with all these baby may still not be ready to come and that's the reason why you need to speak with a doctor, they know what's best for you. Please don't take chances. Speak with a doctor today. |

Abu23Rahman: What can I use to induce labor I'm overdue and I'm using a local maternity Ma'am, Please stop saying you're OVERDUE because you're NOT. To induce labour, you can take zobo drink, pineapple, dates, long walks, and meeting with hubby. However the case may be, baby will come when it is time or when the doctors feel it is time. As I can see from your scan results, your baby is coming soon. Rather than worry, do the necessary things so you'll be strong for your baby on the D-day. P.s: PRAY! |

Abu23Rahman: Good morning I have been following the trend for the past 6months now and today I need help.. EDD is 21/02/2021 and yet I haven't seen any sign..pls I'm using a local maternity hospital, pls advice me on what to do .. because these nurse don't know about most of the things I learn here..I'm overdue Good morning, ma'am. You are NOT overdue. Please note that EDD is usually plus or minus 2 weeks, so it's not necessary for you to give birth on that exact date. However, your doctor is supposed to tell you if there are any negative signs. Please do well to ask questions in your antenatal classes and when you meet with your doctor. Stop over worrying and wait for the time; eat healthy, exercise and if possible meet with hubby and PRAY while you wait. Congratulations in advance. |

Missfree: am scared of that tear sis. I ask my mum why they need blade at the hospital because it’s on my antenatal card (things to bring to the hospital) and my mum said it’s to cut my yansh if the baby it’s too big since then have been scared They don't use razor blades (as far as I know), plus you're not supposed to feel the cuttings until after the analgesic wears away, which is supposed to be after the cuts have been sewn. And you'll have some pain relievers in your medications to reduce the pain. I don't think it's something you should bother yourself with for now but for you to be delivered of a healthy baby. |

Dinma27: I just found this thread and I must say I'm happy I did.
I clocked 40weeks yesterday. Me I'm already getting tired, I thought baby would have arrived before now. According to my mum, all her children came two weeks before time. I was almost induced at the hospital yesterday- (my choice) but my mum asked me not to, that the baby will come at the right time. In. her words- God that put it there, will bring it out at the right time. The hospital said once it's 41weeks with no signs of labour, I will be admitted and induced. I have been online trying to read about induction . This is my first and I honestly wish the labour starts naturally ASAP.. Leave days already counting.
First scan EDD Dec 29th Subsequent EDDs and according to last MP-Jan 11th No two bodies are the same. If you compare yourself to others you might end up being disappointed or depressed. You might end up falling into labour before 41 weeks, if not, please follow the doctors' advice. Be prayerful. No birthing method is easy, whether natural labour, induction or cs. It takes the grace of God and how much we follow the doctor's advice. The main thing is seeing and carrying our healthy beautiful little pumpkins. P.s: Please, don't just sit at home. Do some less stressful chores, take some walks and eat healthy. Congratulations in advance, ma'am. |

Please how long does it take the stomach muscle to heal? Sorry mama. It takes about six weeks or more depending on your body. Please avoid doing stressful things, rest well and take some walks around the house as the body permits. |

Pls mamas my breast milk is adding to my pains, I mean thinking of my baby and crying. What should I do since there is no more baby to suck it Sorry mama. Please try and express it for about 3 to 4 times daily and gradually reduce the frequency. You can take some pain relievers or apply something cold. Please also seek a professional advice. You can ask a nurse or doctor in your area. Please kindly engage in activities that will distract you from grieving too much so your body can get prepared for 'babies.' I pray that you come here soon to give us the good news. |

hapheey007: Hi mamas, My baby is 5months 2weeks but his BCG injection site has a collection of pus. It was initially hard like boil. I was given an ointment at his 3months checkup, since then it has soften but has pus inside. I've been waiting for it to burst on its own since. What do you suggest I do? It will burst on its own... Movements from the baby, carrying and while bathing. Or it might as well dry by itself. |

Hello ma'am, I've always checked in here looking for your BA and BS since you clocked 40 wks. I noticed your absence in-between and was glad thinking you already had your baby, which will happen by God's grace. Kindly erase all your fears and go to the hospital tomorrow, tell the doctors you want your baby out, let them do their job. All births are a miracle, no birthing method is easy. Please don't wait until next Tuesday, for the love of our precious little one. We await your amazing BA. Kisses and love hugs. threegees: Yeah, sis. Thought of this and made up my mind to go for induction if nothing happens by Tuesday which is 42 weeks. Thought of using castor oil too |

Pascalville: As an Actuary and Insurer.. i would say Nigeria Like over doing things... The recapitalisation in this corrupt country is bad for the Insurance company because government with siphon those funds.. but on the other hand it is very nice for the insured.. cos Insurance companies just wanna collect but lack the capability of given back.. So the Insured's are safely covered if this happens.. and Insurance can work in Nigeria if only you guys can have the mindset.. Insurance is what keeps an economy up and running... Insurance comes in various varieties.. the most important of all is Health Insurance.. It covers all your Health expenditure.. even surgery.. The most common is NHIS. Now the question is are you insured.. don't you think you need at least an health insurance.. it is not a must it must be on cars and houses.. You are quite right. However, your opinion above can only work in an economically stable country. You don't expect me to get an insurance cover when I fight tooth and nail to feed, clothe and get a roof over my head. Getting insured gives peace of mind to a considerable extent. There's also need to create awareness. The industry is making money but quite unknown to a large number of the populace. |

biggerboyc: Hi guys, I'm here again. I don't want to say I'm sad. But today I really see a digital Air strike call of 36 minutes. I've Benn working on it since 9am. Around 12 I went out and come back after 6 to continue my work. Before 8pm I've finish and submit. Before 9 pm they return my work with another work I did earlier. I work on the 36 minute and discard the other one because its just 3.5 minutes. Now my redo is rated 3. Which means at least my labor is not in vain. But my concern now is that my Quality rating is 1.94. I've done over 17 calls all together. I was working with small calls before I just decided to go for this big one today. The call was really clear from beginning to the end, but I don't know what happen. Please guru in the house. What should I do. My starting phase really destroyed my account. My first 5 calls were rated 1. Should I wait till they pay on this account, close it and open another one or what should I do I'd advise you work on shorter calls for now to improve your rating, that's what I always do when they hit me with poor ratings. If you can get at least a rating of 4 on maybe 5 or 6 shorter calls before cut off on Sunday, I believe you'd be fine. |
