Hmmm, a friend of mine who was a born again was a victim of this "pastor-say" stuff, it lead her to an early marriage because pastor said it is the will of God whereas she had no conviction.

Even though they had serious crisis with both family as regards the proposed marriage, the pastor advised they can even rent parents if worst come to worst or the girl can even get pregnant.

The girl was 19 years of age, knew nothing getting married to an illiterate Igbo trader was the last thing her parent wanted for their daughter but because her pastor supported it, she disobeyed her father.

After few years of marriage the man mistreated her and today the marriage is broken, now her eyes are clear.

NOTE: This is a true life story it happened to my best friend and we are still best of friends till date.

God bless u.. See, people are really passing through alot in these pastors hand. Imagine, i once whined a bro asking him if he wont get married abi he no know say, him done dey get old. U wont believe what he told me. He said ''he can get married anytime he likes, afterall its just to yarn his pastor that he's interested in one of the sisters in the church and his pastor will finish the job'' so, am of the opinion that ur frnd ex husband connived with the pastor to trick the girl into marriage..

God bless u for this piece OP... This write up sets my heart on memories. Remember a certain time i was trying to date a lady, all she's saying was that, before she could say anything, i'll have to go see her pastor.

Infact, if i've to come to her house again, we'll have to meet at their pastor's house and not her house.

Infact, her pastor's involvement in her life got to an extent, she cant take a small life decision for herself, she has to consult her pastor first.

When she told me, i had to go see her pastor first to see if the courtship would work or not and some other things.

My response was that ''she will never know peace and she'll never have a way forward and God'll as well continue to punish her if she continue to let her pastor take decision for her and not use her common brain and for her pastor, God'll continue to punish that one too as well not until when he teaches u that not all every situations u bring to him''

i vexed and told her to forget every fucking thing about me.. And left her with one word..

''come back and tell me, am a bastard if after two years, u made a single progress for urself if ur pastor is still involved in ur life''

called me sometimes ago and told me ''she's tired of everything and also said, what i said were true.. Saying, she wants to see me and explain somethings to me.. Fixed her meeting for december. No time to waste on a fool
