Dear Stannessi,

Well, it will do well to remember that every great thing starts by talking about it.

You have to be able to visualize, articulate and verbalize (a la Martin Luther King and others) before actions turn ideas into reality.
Can u say this in English? huh huh I think i now know where our problem lies cool kiss

And talking of actions, what are your suggestions

I'l definitey be willing to follow your lead if you have

AlfaPrime:
Hi ya chaps! Do posts disappear from this thread or in transit to it? Funny question, but I'm in earnest because I battled with sleep last night to post a reply to Opoks and Pak, as well as comment on some current topics, only to start hunting for the post by this morning. It's well, sha!
u neva post am (clicked on send aight?), dats y and then ur service provider probably went down whilst it was still trying to send- it happened to mi once and i almost lost it but all d same, thanx for still summoning the courage to post again dis morning! cool
I'm actally resisting the (temptation?) of attaching some real upsetting pictures I just received about the SA violence. Burning human torches in broad daylight, fractured and surtured skull caps, etc. It would have simply spoilt your day, anyway, One only needs to take a look at them to appreciate why I boycotted MTN for a day. (In fact, though I did it just to show a symbolic displeasure, now I don't think that act was significant enough , with the benefit of hindsight). Well! Let's keep praying for Africa and our leaders.
please do- resist temptation and it will flee from you. I m sure we dont exactly need grim images to remind us about dehumanizing conditions which abound across the globe- stannesi's actually ddnt shock mi into activity- it numbed mii! undecided. On a second note, MTN is not exactly owned by the SA government or is it? The government did not swing into action fast enough to at least reduce the casualty rate- methinks u should take ur battle to SA Airlines and any other SA- owned corporation though they also condemned d MINDLESS attacks. kai- na mi dey write all dse stff, abeg make i waka before i become apostle paul. lol! grin

stannesi:
@Kuwena, haha, u no wan marry, i no get word for you today, like i said before, before u go see 99 men like u, u go don reach 70yrs, better start on your own, ooo haha lol, na Keno style i dey adopt now (obnoxiousness), lol

An ex-girlfriend that broke-up wit me (u don't wana know d reason), she's in d UK now, or dere about, after we broke up, i was kind of surprise though, i just didn't bother, (i thinks that is a thing people even family memb. dislike about me, as dey say, "i act like i don't care & never takes anytin serious", well dey don't understand me wella, but everyone hav no choice, but to love me anytim, anyday) because of that she was kind of upset, in a sarcastic way, u know women thoughts, so after she left 4 UK she sent me pictures of her and her new boyfriend in bed together. i think dey planned, what dumb guy. surprising, i laughed over d pics, u know what i was thinkin, while i saw them, that is what i did, i did not show anyone, my crazy nutty weird thoughts lightens ma idea bulbs, my was Solution?? I sent them to her dad. ha ha ha, don't want to know d end product because i don't know myself, wish i did, but were still talkin after that she apologize, so did i (but i had no reason to anyway, i'm just like that, it takes notin to apologize) anyway, its soo funny to me sha, till now. but i've lost contact wit her being a victim of losin phones, maybe lost or stolen, i don't know (3 phones and sims lots this year).

kuwena:
See what Kenosky is posting on Yemi's blog! Instead of him to share with us some of his engineering knowledge, he hides it. Is this fair?

Kenosky, I want to ask: How does peak solar radiation become trapped and used in the generation of solar energy that can eventually be converted to electricity, and why has it not been in use in Nigeria as a substitute to hydro electricity? Another question I want to ask is: what has thermodynamics got to contribute specifically to engineering? And last but not the least (pardon the cliche): what do you think is the role of steel in driving high level production in the country, from an engineering point of view (take note of ductility, tensile strengths, refining and so forth)?

Please share EMPIRICAL and NUMERIC facts on the foregoing. Please? Thanks, bro.  wink
yeepa, kuwena- u wan bring my leg out for thread? huh shocked, i b microbiologist o! i beg to defer to the engineers- pgm, tommy, kenosym and e be like say pak self na engineer! Agreed, this thread is not in the romance section

but then we don know ourselves pass the stage where we can't even yarn

'personal things with our personal persons'.

Really, really, the year is still young and

am wondering who's planning to get hooked this year.

I have a feeling stannessi might be the one to blaze the trail grin grin grin ( na yam)

Or maybe even Kuwena (but it's most likely will going to be American, unless he decides to go back to his former Love)

or my man Alfa prime (likely, quite likely)

We cannot feel strongly toward the totally unlike because it is unimaginable, unrealizable; nor yet toward the wholly like because it is stale—identity must always be dull company. The power of other natures over us lies in a stimulating difference which causes excitement and opens communication, in ideas similar to our own but not identical, in states of mind attainable but not actual. wink

I guess Arsenal is number two despite the fact they didn't get anywhere? huh If the parameter being used to judge is the Champions league, then Chelsea'll have to be number 2. Men, , my heart goes out to Chelsea,

those guys couldn't hav been more gallant in defeat.
gallant? i hope u r not counting wat the DROG did as gallant!

Had it been possible to split the cup in two,

I would have suggested that one half be given to Chelsea.

Worthy losers Chelsea.

if wishes were horses!

I think the major mistake they made was to give Anelka

a chance to take a penalty.

That guy has no allegiance to anybody.

If Manchester United dangles a little change before him,

I am sure he wouldnt bat an eyelid before pitching tent

at old tratford next season ( though I'm sure we wont do that).

The guy was not really remorseful after the kick, He probably

was already thinkin bout his next club.

rubbish! terry has only ever had allegiance to chelsea! It doesnt follow afterall, Ronaldo lost his and Ashley cole's was almost stopped! No excuses my friend- they had to go down!

Anyway, let me say congrats Manchester United, congrats chelsea.

You gave us somethin to cheer yesternight.

Finally i agree with u, chelsea's loss gave us something to cheer about yesternite, sad though that the DROG put a dent in it by seeing RED! grin cool kiss
