Nice to see that folks are still posting and keeping the thread alive despite having to start the thread afresh after losing so many pages to the great 'Nairaland crash'. Some folks have hit the nail on the head, nobody or organization is worth putting your life on hold for. My honest tip to every person still expecting the call (& I say this with a sense of deja vu) is to continue as if you weren't waiting for any call (mind you this has got nothing to do with your faith). I salute everyone who has contributed to this thread and wish all those waiting the best of luck... |
Page 70 and Assessment centre hasn't even started. Wow! |
kuwena: Well, in latest news, I'm back home... @9jaBack home... as in back home for real? Or are you on holidays? |
kuwena: Why don't you call him, Kenosky... LOL... and tell him we miss him on this our thread...I think I'm going to do just that, though I would not be surprised if he is reading silently... ![]() |
kuwena: I wonder where Opokonwa is these days... hmm....[A phone call away i guess ![]() |

Chei... Which way NLNG indeed? I'm still in shock that 2012 went by without a single post from me on this thread... Well, it probably says a lot..'we have moved on, and are still moving on'... To Kuwena, Opoks, Skeelo, Biolabee, Aniffy4eva, Ahonohai, Wandel, Adrian et al who made this thread rock back in the days... I doff my hat! ![]() |
It's really sad what folks have to put up with in the name of staying married. I'm the last person who would encourage anyone (male or female) to stay in an abusive marriage/ relationship. What use are you dead? Now, the 2 kids are left without their mother, probably to be raised by someone else who really doesn't care that much about them... The bulk of the blame is with the tradition/ culture that encourages persons to 'endure' so that they can remain married... |
Shocking... More than 2 years and the thread still hasnt even reached 100 pages... talk more of ending... na wa o |
opokonwa:As usual, waxing philosophical. I believe everything you have said though- we need to reconnect. Heard you are in Abj now. U don hook up with Adrian? Bonny dey cool o, with everyday rainfall. How madam na? Any lil opoks now? ahonohai:Very long time indeed my brotha. |

Ballot papers did not arrive on time from Holland. can you believe this comedian? LWKMD |

Check out the links below; I believe Nokia has restated it's authority as No. 1, Anyone disagree? http://events.nokia.com/NokiaN8 http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/devices/nokia-n8 |

I know the eid-il-kabir is sometime in November- but can anyone help with the actual dates? |
Nice topic- elective C/S is becoming increasingly popular but before now, C/S was adopted in complicated deliveries- narrow pelvis, improper dilation, cord around the babies neck, weak heart beat, etc. I was with the wifey in the Labour room for 18hrs and i told myself afterwards- Now I know why some folks go with the C/S option, These days, it's painless, fast and effective! |
One dies, 10 others injured in stampedeCan the man in question explain why he got up to feed his hungry child unclothed in a room full of people (30 occupants). Later, we go talk say dem dey discriminate against us! ![]() |
Olaolufred: @Olufredwateva! Peeps like you are the reason why we havent made much progress in 50yrs of Independence. What feeds your conviction that the South is more populous than Northern Nigeria? What supports your allegation that such is more common in the South? Address the issue at hand- better still, support your allegations with fact. I'm a de-tribalized Nigeria- Nay! I'm the most tribalized Nigerian- wanna know why? I'm a Nigerian first- before any other thing. If you dont have any better contribution than trying to state where betrayal and deceit of this nature is more common- why not just STFU? Afterall- it is often said that 'Silence is Golden' |
Olaolufred:A blatant display of Ignorance! sha, didnt someone say Ignorance was Bliss? I guess they were referring to YOU!: bermuda1: Bermuda, just bone the MUGU! I'm sure he's one of those who would act like the Inspector in this story! |
Princek12:You have just gone ahead to display your KPASness! Address the issue and not where the persons hail from. The guy alleges that his businesses in Lagos had been manipulated by his brother-in-law and all you can think of is how the Police inspector must be from the South or East. Pstchewwww! Go get a life dude |
Olaolufred:@Olaolufred or wateva u call yourself, why do you think this is more common in the Southeast? Afterall, the dude said this whole stuff occured in Lagos. Why do we always bring ethnicity into such matters? |
Chei! GEJ! You be heavy KPAS! Were you not the one that approved all the wasteful spending in the first instance? COWTAIL! |
So bomb threat drills are strange in Nigeria shey? Na wa for our people level of ignorance o. Those who are conversant with the Oil and Gas industry will know that Fire Drills, Bomb threat drills, even Helicopter crash drills are conducted from time to time in order to assess the state of preparedness in actual emergency. A staff said he was in the office working and some daffy duck said he was foolish- staying in the office instead of running home with his legs between his tail at the rumour (shakes head). Na wa 4 our people o. Why would you run when there is nothing chasing you? |
otokx:Please it will do every one of us a whole world of good if we stopped spreading news from unverified sources. I have spoken with two friends who work at the NNPC towers and work is going on as usual. Whats all dis mendacious news for? |
