You shouldn't go anywhere without telling your wife, cause if you go missing people will blame her. Your parents will understan sha because your safety is paramount to them.

somebody: Yes, i would take it personal and it is a big deal not informing people close to you. Its very strange to me that you wou;dn't inform her. The only time my husband hasn't informed me about his travel plans, he was trying to surprise me for my party and we weren't even married. That is the only time I will excuse it.

somebody: Huh.....its only on nairaland that I read that people are scared of their wife, mother etc. It would be very strange to me if my husband does not tell me the day he is getting on a flight. When I travel, I tell my husband, siblings, parents and close friends...not a big deal.

Amelian: Op, stick to yur decisions... It's very risky telling whosoever be it wife, family or frnds, yur due date of arrival.. Due to excitement the news will indirectly get the wrong ears and u know what that means?.. One has to be careful of such things... Odikwa very risky!
If am the one, am saying nada.!..my spouse can do same if he wishes... It doesn't stop me loving or trusting him.

kenraj: Oga Phemmy, its not just the marriage that matters, firstly the future av 2 be secured if not permanently but partially and this is the time 2 do that cos am still studying and if not that I engage in some part time businesses it would not av been easy and the woman involved have stated to me either directly or indirectly that the moment we get married, she would not condone or be happy that I won't still be with her to av been settled and the insinuation is that what's the point of the marriage when I'll stll not be on ground even though our child is with her parents but she lives in my apartment.


The fact is an assurance on the part of the man is invonlved and there is not going back on his commitment...marriage does not seal a marriage nowadays if u must know...And to tell u the fact, this is my true life story av just illustrated and it does not really mean that am so rich that s why i can afford it to come 2ice every year> what about the future involved after marriage? A whole lotta tins are involved in this marriage of i thing and better still i could just go with her to a registry to add a ring to the engagement ring and so what?

Fhemmmy: Not good enough, if the man can afford to go to Nigeria 2ce a year, such man can afford the wedding and tie the knot, not only an engaged woman or man could reside abroad while the wife is somewhere else, a married man could do such too, so it is all about understanding and commitment.
