In other to ease the movement of goods from Onne port and Aba market, this road is critical, hence the reason why Alex otti is fixing it and not waiting for the federal government. This road is too important to Abia to be left this way. The road also connects the new Abia industrial park in Ukwa west to Aba and Umuahia, the importance of the road is to huge that we cannot wait for the federal government.

Note: This is not port Harcourt road is Aba, this road is the road connecting Port harcourt to Aba, Umuahia and Enugu. It is different from the port Harcourt road project within Aba city.
