As the East lacks a central political figure, Tinubu will have to take that place in order for the region to regain political relevance in 2019 and that possibility is getting stronger with the current permutations of a southern political bloc...except of course a heavy realignment occurs and the East takes Osibanjo's position in readiness for a 2023 eastern presidency.

Is time for him to leave the stage..and watch his soldiers become Generals..
If tinubu bows out now..in time..the north will be indebted to him..cos they will see it as he was cheated outta of his house..he will naturally assume a kingmaker in nigeria..not limited to Yourba's alone.
His Generals will be more loyal..and his reputation guarded...this my opinion tho.
