When nominations for ministers of the federation to serve in the Federal Executive Council started reaching the desk of the Presidency, Jagaban's preferred candidates/nominees for Lagos(Wale Edun), Ogun (Wale Edun), Ekiti(Femi Falana) and Delta states (Prof. Pat Utomi) were rejected in favor of erstwhile godson Raji Fashola, Accountant Kemi Adeosun, Drs Kayode Fayemi and Ibe Kachukwu respectively. As if that wasn't enough, upon the unfortunate demise of Late APC Candidate Prince Audu Abubakar of Kogi state , who was inches away to be declared Governor-elect, the "Abuja boys" instructed AGF Abubakar Malami to pronounce the runner-up in the APC Governorship primary election as the inheritor of the Audu ticket ahead of Audu's runningmate James Abiodun Faleke. This is simply because Faleke was/seen as "Tinubu's loyalist".

In the just concluded APC Governorship primary election in Ondo state, one of the biggest fraud in Nigeria's political history was executed by those that are envious of the influence of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the end result was to illegally favor the unpopular but pro-Abuja aspirant Rotimi Akeredolu in order to illegally prevent the emergence of Tinubu's preferred Segun Abraham. Worse still, even the protest by other unfairly treated aspirants that tendered their grievances to the Party Appeal Committee, whose verdict went in their favour was allegedly vetoed by the National Chairman John Oyegun despite the report enjoying the endorsement of majority members that made up the Party's National Working Committee. This is an embarrassment taken too far.

It can't be contested anywhere that Tinubu has a eye of spotting and nominating the best material into public office, as well as putting square pegs in square holes. Those who witnessed the reign of Bola Tinubu as Governor of Lagos will testify that Mr. Wale Edun, a reputable Economist, a graduate of University of London and University of Essex (both in the United Kingdom) did excellently well as Commissioner of Finance under Tinubu's eight years reign. Apart from his reign as Commissioner, Edun had served in global elite firms like the World Bank, Lehman Brothers and Chase Manhattan Capital Markets Corporation in New York, USA. While Bola Tinubu was positioning him for the role of Minister of Finance, Buhari instead went ahead to appoint a mid-level Accountant who never performed so well in Ogun state as his Finance Minister. Why won't Nigeria be in recession when an Accomplished Economist Wale Edun was dropped in favor of a not so exceptional Accountant Kemi Adeosun in the management of the economy?

With the rejection of theAppeal panel's report on Ondo Primary, a clear message has been sent to Bola Tinubu and his proteges. The Tinubu I know is a political colossus who has fought and won different shades of political battles since his foray into public office, it is my advice that he pulls out of the party that has refused to recognized his sacrifices due to envy and join the PDP Umbrella that is in need of a political class like him.

Specifically, Bola Tinubu, Abubakar Audu and Abraham's supporters in the Southwest where BAT controls 80% of political control, Kogi state and Ondo state respectively should join hands with PDP where they will be fairly treated, respected and accorded their due places which God has placed them. Considering that PDP is undergoing massive but silent reformation, this is the best time for the Political heavyweight Asiwaju Tinubu to make a statement to his political betrayers ahead of 2019 General election.

Nigerians shall be highly grateful if Bola Tinubu find solace in the only true National party, PDP and help rescue the country from total collapse in 2019, a year that President Buhari is destined to vacate Aso Rock.
