Christianity EtcRe: When We Speak In Tongue by kesprime(m): 12:04am On May 12, 2016
U are using earthly wisdom to discern the things of the Spirit bro. Read ur bible again. The part that that says - " he who speaks in the Spirit Speaketh an unknown tongue" . Quote author=lordnicklaus post=45531895]

Lol!!!! Who tell you say devil no understand? Speaking in tongues is actually meant to be an earthly language and I will prove my point from the bible.

"And when this sound occurred, the mob assembled and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

Then they were amazed and marveled, saying to each other, 'Look, are these not those speaking Galileans? And how is it we hear each in our language in which we were born?
Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those inhabiting Mesopotamia, Judaea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya bordering Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and converts,
Cretans and Arabs- we hear them speaking in our own languages, God's wonderful works'
" - Acts 2:6-11.

So, if the spirit comes upon you and you speak in let's say French, you wan tell me say devil no hear French? Whenever people say speaking in tongues confuses the devil, I laugh........

Besides, repitition of a particular word is not geniunely speaking in tongues....

If a pastor continuosly says "babababababbabababa" for a long time, then I will know it is fake, cos speaking in tongues is not for confusion. Besides the word "ba" is the Hebrew word for "come", so what the pastor is literally saying is "come, come, come, come, come" for a long time.

The disciples of Jesus spoke the Galilean dialect of the Aramaic language, so when the spirit came upon them, they spoke foreign tongues.
Christianity EtcRe: When We Speak In Tongue by kesprime(m): 10:34pm On May 09, 2016
When we speak in tongues we speak in a mystery. The devil doesn't understand what we say Because we are speaking in the language of the Spirit.
Psoul:
"Whenever we speak in tongues, Satan gets confused "

How true is the above popular statement? To me, I have a different opinion about dis. It's personal and don't kw what you think.

Remember that Satan was an angel before he was chased out of heaven. He hears and understands the heavenly language (speaking in tongues).

To me, I don't think speaking in tongues confuses Satan, what I think is that wen we speak in tongues, we speak to/command him in his local language and he understands it faster and better and daz why he responds to our commands faster than wen we speak in man's language which he doesn't understand well thereby get him confused and he tends respond rather to slow.

What do u think

CrimeRe: Ritual Killer’s Den In Lagos Exposed After Victim With Slashed Throat Escaped by kesprime(m): 7:24am On Dec 30, 2015
im sure its someone in the police division that tipped the alfa with the info that enabled him escape
lolaxavier:
Residents of Big Daddy Street in the Atinplome, Bagadry area of Lagos State on Tuesday stormed an uncompleted building in the area, which they suspected to be a ritual killer’s den, after a female victim raised the alarm.

PUNCH Metro learnt that at about 12am, while a carnival went on in the area, a woman in her late 20s, whose name had yet to be known, had run into the party with her throat partly cut, while blood was streaming out of her body.

The girl, who later became unconscious and was rushed to a private hospital in the area, told the partying crowd that an alfa, identified as Mallam Sheu, had tricked her into the uncompleted structure before slitting her throat with a knife.

The matter was said to have been reported at the Morogbo Police Division, and some policemen
came to the scene, but the alfa was said to have fled the uncompleted apartment.

It was learnt that in the morning, more residents thronged the area and they were said to have found bloodstains, old clothes, charms and ladies’ clothes inside the structure.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro, a resident who identified herself as Mummy Eso, said youths in the area attempted to burn the den in the afternoon, thinking that the girl had died as a result of her injuries.

Mummy Eso added that the alfa did not stay in the area and nobody suspected that he used the place for evil purpose.

She said:

“There was commotion in our area in the midnight when boys holding a street party saw the girl bleeding from the throat. The girl, who just managed to speak, pointed to the structure and said an alfa had attempted to kill her, but she managed to escape.

One of her hands had also been tampered with. So, the youths became furious and headed for the uncompleted building. Some policemen, who were also on guard duties at the carnival were informed about the incident and they went too. But information had got to the man, and he escaped before they could arrest him.

Since morning, people have been coming to the area to check the building. They attempted to burn it in the afternoon.”
Another resident, identified as Akeem Ajao, who visited the building, said the youths found old bloodstains, clothes and charms.

He said:

“The lady ran into the carnival with blood streaming out of her body. One of those at the carnival saw her and came to her rescue. She said a man was in the house trying to slaughter her.
“We rushed the girl to a hospital, where she is now receiving treatment. We did not know that the alfa used the house to do evil works. The girl’s clothes were bloodstained. The police have also come to the area this morning.
“When I entered the house, I saw bloodstains, charms and a human bone was also in the man’s car – a Gulf 4 vehicle. It was the boys holding the carnival who noticed the girl.

“The girl’s neck was cut. Nobody knows the family of the girl involved. The man has run away from the area.”
Punch gathered that the alfa had been having an affair with the lady, before he took her to the uncompleted building on the evening of the carnival.

The lady was said to have come from the Igando area to Atinplome.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joe Offor, said he would get back to their correspondent with details of the incident. But, he had yet to do so as of press time.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: This Is Why December Is The Best Month To Find A Job by kesprime(m): 8:07pm On Dec 14, 2015
Thanks a lot
Dennis192:
As a job-seeker, does December bring about thoughts of kicking back, relaxing and taking a long winter's nap? If so, you are not alone. Hiring drops dramatically during the holidays and the majority of people looking for work adopt the attitude that they will take these weeks off and then gear back up after the first of the year.

But this mindset results in a major disadvantage to those who succumb to the belief that "December is dead" as far as their job search is concerned. On the contrary, it gives an enviable leg up to the savvy seeker who chooses to keep their search active. The reason for this? Your competition levels drop dramatically!

Moreover, January and February generally represent the strongest hiring period of the year. So, if you stay active, make your presence known and build connections, you will be setting yourself up to be first in line when hiring takes off.

In truth, December can actually be the best time of year to look for work!

Here are three ways you can capitalize on the season to make real strides in your job search:

1) Make merry while you make your presence known
Opportunities to socialize abound. Parties, gatherings, and industry and community events provide prime opportunities to mix, mingle and make valuable contacts. Although you will want to partake in the festivities, do not forget that you are on display. As an active job-seeker, your goal is to exude a combination of professionalism and personal warmth. So dress somewhat conservatively, watch your alcohol intake, interact with holiday cheer and enjoy yourself.

When asked what you do, you will want to let people know that you are currently in a job search. However, a light touch is always best -- especially at parties and informal gatherings. You can certainly mention a few of the companies you are targeting. But do so in a way that doesn't dampen the festivities by coming on too strong. You could consider saying something like: "Right now, I'm looking at companies X, Y & Z. If you have any thoughts or ideas for me, I'd love to hear them at a later date." Then you can follow up when this type of conversation is more appropriate.

2) Use Season's Greetings to reconnect with old contacts
Holiday cards and newsy letters are not only welcomed, they're expected. Done correctly, they can be a great way of securing new leads and opportunities. After sharing the latest about your family, you can mention your job search and a few of the companies you are targeting. Then, in a low-key manner, you can let your friends know that you would appreciate any suggestions or contacts they might have. You could even follow up when you meet them at various gatherings (again approaching the topic lightly) or contact them after the first of the year to see if they've got any ideas for you.

3) Remember the true meaning of the season and pay it forward
Volunteering not only helps others, it is a great way to move beyond your immediate circle of contacts. In addition to doing good works, you never know whom you may meet and where such opportunities might lead. So pursue as many of these opportunities as you can that will comfortably allow you time for other holiday networking activities.

Also, you will want to recognize that networking is a two-way street. Sharing information, tips and job leads adds to the good will of the season and predisposes those in your circle to want to do the same for you.

Above all, be sure to take full advantage of this very special time of year. Good cheer and serendipity abound in December. People tend to be a bit merrier and certainly more open to reconnecting. So take the time to reach out, share the warmth of the season and keep your ultimate goals in mind. You just might find yourself ringing in the New Year with a brand new job ... and it doesn't get much merrier than that!
