This is a fundamental mistake every Igbo makes.

The vast majority of Yorubas do not come from "VILLAGES".
Igbos never evolved beyond the village level of political organization before colonization. They existed essentially at the clan level and there was NOT one single town in Igboland where you would find settlers from other places. Everything was Umu this and Umu that/

Well I a sorry to burst that bubble but in Yorubaland there have been towns and cities for centuries with settlers from Hausaland,Nupes,Senegal,Guinea and so on.


So when you gget this idea of I am going to my village do not think it applies to the whole world. There are people who come from places like Ibadan, Lekki ,Ikorodu, Abeokuta and so on.

the reason for mistakes like this is due to ignorance.the reason for Senegalese, Nupe,Guinea people ,Hausa to have landed in Yoruba land including Islam is because of the Fulani conquest in Yorubaland. Fulanis are from Guinea, they spread to Senegal ,Nupe ,Hausa land down to Yoruba land via the conquest of the jihadist known as usman Dan fodio. so it is expected to see such people migrating to such areas which is a form of an extension of their empire.Read books on the conquest of us an Dan fodio of the sokoto caliphate in the 18th century.You will get to read about the resistance of the Tivs of the middle belt down to areas where usman Dan fodio could not conquer.you will also read about Alimi and Ilorin etc.

If OBJ wqs the one in power in 2015 Tinubu would not have cared anything to support Buhari.

We say Buhari has no certificate but he is respected by global leaders,far more than Jonathan, a phd holder. It was so bad even foreign journalists, whose profressional ethiquettes and training call for respect for diplomatic corps, could no longer restrain frustration and their shock that Nigeria actually voted the man into Presidency. But that's not the issue here,Jonathan administration is gone. Buhari has his incompetencies and Tinubu was not unaware of them. At the time, he was a matched candidate for national priorities to recover this country from sinking. So Tinubu did his job well. Its now up to Buhari to show whthehe can do.

If Buhari is a man of credibility and accountability, he would have plugged back the billions coming from accrued revenue of the country plus the recovered loot into vital areas of the economy to save it from sinking, implemented the 2016 budget for you and I to see the benefit of his work.How do you define a Buhari who gives dollars at ridiculous prices to hajj pilgrims and deny manufacturing and aviation industries dollars. I have being to the south east several times, I always love when I am crossing that Niger bridge, but after that, what I see is a huge IDP camp. People fail to realize that the success of the igbos is only individual, and not regional. A sensible person will not count that as success, what has the individual success of the igbos brought to the south east, because after the north, the south east is the most underdeveloped region in Nigeria. Where is the Igbo success u people continue to boast about if u can't replicate it in ur region. I liken the igbos as a man with enough money who is living with his friend in a one room apartment but still went ahead to buy the latest jeep instead of investing the money in building his own house to live comfortably.
