I knew the moment lukaku scored very early, I knew PSG was in deep shyte. I tried to watch but swift just useless. The little moment I watched I could see PSG had difficulty playing from the back as man u pressed from the front. That PSG team has mental issues. Lyon is better. Neymar should leave if he wants world best. The coaches were never the problem. Speaks alot for a team that won a first leg by 4 goals to go and lose the second leg 6-1. grin

Even Tuchel has failed!!!!

Emery was never the problem.... EOD!
Spot on...

Something is deeply wrong with that club and I don't see Tuchel staying there for long. Some other club will be lucky to have him.

Family › Re: My Letter To Women With House Girls by KevinDein:
Aren't women just amazing. You'll hear them say stuffs like "never lay your hand on a woman, no matter what"; but visit their homes and you will see them beating someone else's child with all the strength they can summon.

If women were stronger than men they wouldn't have any issues with domestic violence. They'll probably preach it. They have that knack to always want to harm anyone they sense is weaker.

Just thinking about it now, I say thumbs up to men. We come up with laws to protect women even though they most likely won't do the same if they had the power. Funnily enough, women are abusing these laws in other climes. Men are being framed up and are going to jail for crimes they didn't commit. This will probably be their undoing because only a matter of time before men say enough is enough.

Women are only as powerful as men allow them to be

Some people really don't wanna get married, their decision should be respected.

However can't help but think that some folks on here screaming marriage sucks are people that are downright unpleasant with genuinely nasty attitude and can't seem to find anyone willing to put up with them.

It's not that they DON'T want to marry. It's just that they CAN'T get anyone to marry them.

I don't do self deceit.

there is nothing wrong with accepting reality, we are too slow when it comes to transfer.
wengay missed out on loads of players to our opponents, chelsea and scummies may hijack suarez and carrasco if we delay.
we get players who prefer us or london not the players we wanted. auba, xhaka, ozil all left their clubs and accepted us cos we the only one interested.
sanchez wanted us ahead of lfc cos he preferred london, imagine chelsea competed with us do you think we will get him
It is more pessimism than reality.

Reality on ground is Arsenal have identified the need for a winger and are working hard to get one or two. This is not FIFA. Transfers are complicated and many terms must be met before they go through. If you look around, you'll hardly find a major club that has done one so far.

Being negative even though there is still a whole 20 days before the window closes is just pessimism.

bro When did you start following Arsenal and EPL games? As much as o hate to say it,Chelsea are a more ambitious and proactive fc than us both on and off the pitch, you should know Chelsea can cough out any amount to get a good fabregas( Suarez) replacement and Morata/ Giroud (Dzeko/higuain)..
Chelsea fans don't see us as much threat because they know how to address issues and force out good results while we can't.
Why do you want Chelsea fans to see you as a threat? Chelsea is just 3 points ahead of Arsenal despite Arsenal playing the last few games with a make shift backline. They are yet to visit the Etihad, Emirates, Anfield and Old Trafford. Fact is Arsenal are still very much in the fight for top four along with Man Utd. You really don't need to convince fans of other clubs to see that.

it seems you started supporting arsenal this year

....don't worry by the time arsenal deal with you both psychology and emotionally na dey you go understand our pain every transfer window

higuian and Luis Suarez deal comes to mind embarassed
I've been supporting Arsenal for long; when I started following European football. Arsenal was my first love. I've also endured the pains of many transfer windows like most Arsenal fans. However the back room team responsible for those fuckck ups (Gazidis and his guys) are no longer at the club. A new team is on ground, Mislintat and Sanllehi, and if the last transfer window is anything to go by they seem to know what they are doing. I mean they came in and identified that the team needs a DM which they quickly got (Wenger turned a blind eye to that for years). They are working hard to let go of many dead woods and have identified that the team needs a winger which they are trying to get in.

My point is the new guys at the club seem to have a plan and are at least making effort to fix obvious deficiencies.

All this negativity aren't necessary, at least for now.

It has to be said that (some) Arsenal fans (here) are really a negative bunch. I mean if you visit the Chelsea thread and then come over here you'll find it hard to believe three points separate both clubs. It almost feels like Chelsea are slugging it out with city and pool for the title while Arsenal are battling fulham and Cardiff to avoid relegation.

Carrasco and Suarez in this Jan will put everyone on a high, Emirate will be noisy, fans will turn up,much hope and huge support all rounda.
But the window hasn't closed yet. Why are you sounding so negative. At least wait until they actually lose out on those transfers before giving up. It's barely 10 days in the window and literally no major club in Europe has brought in anyone.

you can't be so sure we don't have the funds
Humour as it we either manage these players and spend big next summer or vice versa
we dont need 67m player for now.
we can get suarez and carrasco for 50m combine and give bayern 7m for james(loan) with option to buy in the summer
collect the swap deal of bennatia and ramsey, if we need cahill too on loan
plus most of our players are back ozil, bellerin, kos, monreal, mustafi and mavopanos
I really don't think we are getting both Carrasco and Suarez. It will be one of them, which I'm OK with especially if it's Carrasco.

@emboldened, amazing to think we've been without five defenders for a while now. Those injuries really did take a toll on team's results. Literally any team would have struggled to cope with such. Bellerin in particular has been the biggest miss and boy am I glad he's back, and just in time for some crunch match ups. grin

I hardly see him play for Barcelona, I don't have much about him.
I'm concern about our defence, no plans to strengthen that place at all. We can still try Cresswell, mee or tarkwoski
He doesn't really play much because Barça do have some quality players in his position. Dembele, Coutinho, Rakitic, Arthur, are better than him. He did have decent game time last season though but got injured and since then has been unable to force his way into the team. However, he played regularly for Emery at Sevilla.

Lol, those English defenders would come at very high prices and there's no guarantee they'll do well at Arsenal. One could look like a world class defender in a team that parks the bus but would likely struggle at a team that plays high line where you are constantly exposed to counter attacks and 3 vs 3 scenarios.

We've been strongly linked with a Valladolid defender, Valero I think.

We could be bringing in Denis Suarez this january. Plays as a LW, CM or AM so apparently Ramsey's replacement. Better dribbler and passer than Ramsey but probably an inferior goal scorer (statistically). Emery has worked with him in the past so that should also be a plus.
