Sarri just pulled off a master class. First time he's had players that are almost as good as Pep's and he beats him.

Good win Chelsea.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by KevinDein: 7:50pm On Dec 08, 2018
Wow, Sarri really has got his tactics spot on toady. Playing around and through city's press like it's nothing.

Some people look at isolated cases instead of a more total approach.

I am not saying he should be a starter, but at this level he is very good. Without mincing words, he is very good.
Yeah, true. I really don't know why the guy is unpopular among some fans. Probably because he runs in an awkward manner; kid looks unbalanced kind of grin

He's definitely unrefined but he's good enough to get games here and there.

Cc; Kokaneprodigy, BlueRayDick

Guendouzi isn't a starter. He's started in the last two EPL games because Xhaka got suspended for the Old Trafford game and Mhiki and Iwobi aren't really in form so the coach wanted to try a different system. When Ozil comes back, he'll most likely be back on the bench.

Emery knows he isn't a first team material yet but he's good enough to deputise for the others if needed.

Relax guys grin

This Emery bias towards Guen will be his pitfall.
The kid played a huge role in the build up leading to the goal. He's still unrefined but he's very talented and is capable of producing moments like that.

Monrẹ́al is back...good news
Great news. He will fit in at the left side of the back three. Kolasinac, just like Bellerin, is much better as a wing back. The back three system suits Kola and Bellerin.

Which good work are you talking about? Arsenal sits fifth on the table!!!! If this present Arsenal team meets City or Barcelona, they will concede at least four goals. It is still a very poor team.
Arsenal met city at the start of the season when Emery hasn't even fully implemented his system and they didn't concede four.

Please, I understand everyone should have an opinion especially on public forum but I will appreciate it if you just stop quoting my comments. Your knowledge of football is rather poor and it's a torture having to read your comments.

Thanks for your understanding.

Much better squad indeed.

The squad that finished 4th behind Wenger's 2nd and equal points with United in 5th?

The one Leicester, Tottenham, United and Arsenal even West Ham took turns to beat almost home and away for all teams above?

Kompany out. Zaba, Sagna, Clichy, Mangala, Fernando that same squad or another one?

The same squad with 63points only '3' shy off the '66' points team Pep inherited is the one his was much better than? Lol

Okay o.
Yes, that same squad.

He inherited a squad that had De Bruyne, David Silva, Fernandinho, Aguero and 50 million pounds Sterling as the core and then spent a couple of hundreds of millions to strengthen it. That squad won the league just 2 seasons earlier. Compare that to the Arsenal squad which just finished a distant 6th last season and has the mentally weak and inconsistent Ozil and Mhiki, the error prone Mustafi and Xhaka, the out of form and inexperience Iwobi and Bellerin. Only Aubameyang and Lacazette can be said to be really great players.

The squad Pep inherited from Pellegrini is so much better than the one Wenger handed to Emery is not even a joke.

(Pep/city fans should stop seeing my post as a dig at Pep. It's more to put the good work Emery has done at Arsenal in perspective)

This really has nothing to do with Nigerians. Literally people of all nationalities will react in the same way if a wife somehow imply her husband is a paedophile with her dumb logic.

First 15 games

Pep; 30 points
Klopp; 23 points

Emery; 31 points.

Mind you, Pep inherited a much better team than Emery did. I'm not in anyway implying that Emery is better, just stressing what an awesome job he's done so far.

You can point to the fact that Arsenal is still 5th despite the impressive run (in reality they are on same point as 4th, only 2 point behind 3rd and would most likely be higher this weekend when Chelsea get mauled by Man city grin), however this is testament to how competitive the top 5 is. I mean, Liverpool are having their best start in their history and they are still 2nd grin.

Right now, the EPL is actually divided into 4 tiers;

Tier 1: Man city and Liverpool (title challengers)

Tier 2: Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea (battling for the 2 remaining Champions League spots)

Tier 3: Everton, Bournemouth, Leicester, Man Utd (battling to be the best of the rest and a Europa league spot)

Tier 4: The rest (fighting for survival)

Quite impressive how Emery has managed to get us into this position and I'm very optimistic he'll do so much more when he gets his own players.

Emery is very well aware of that. He did set up perfectly and neutralized the pace of Son, Mane and Salah in previous games.

I speak for many Arsenal fans and football followers when I say Emery has exceeded expectations. I have no doubt in my mind that with two or three transfer windows, Arsenal will definitely challenge for the title. (City will still remain the favorites of course; they have a fuckkking oil rich country backing them)

If this isn't sarcasm, I don't know what is cheesy
I really don't have time to engage someone who obviously have some sort of bias. Even the most avid Utd, spurs and Chelsea fan would recognize there's a clear improvement in this present Arsenal team. It's still a job in progress, but the team is heading in the right direction.

Yesterday's game, Spurs got one of their goals from a dive. Emery tweaked the tactics at half time, brought in Ramsey who played between Lacazette and Aubameyang (fuckkinng hell) , Arsenal went on to put three goals passed them. Could easily have been more. This is a clear difference from Wenger who would have spent the entire game moaning about the penalty given; wont tweak the tactics and would only have brought in fresh legs at the 70th minute when the game is probably lost.

The funny thing is this is a Spurs team that battered Chelsea and a team most "pundits" believe no single Arsenal player could get into.

Arsenal is clearly improving, players are mentally much tougher and they seem to know what job they are supposed to do in the team.

Very positive

What kind of yeye transformation? Just because Arsenal beat Tottenham? I didn't get to watch the live match but with all the noise that have been made about how good Arsenal played, I had to watch it this afternoon on DSTV. Honestly, Tottenham was poor on the day and Arsenal was lucky and average. This Arsenal team won't still beat Man U tomorrow.

Going through this thread I have noticed that most Nigerian men are bitter and spiteful and i feel really ashamed of them.

They have perfected the art of victim shaming even to the extent of blaming a woman who was killed by her husband and stuffed in a travelling bag of provoking the husband in to killing her, can you imagine that?

Nigerian men what's next? will you also blame the Little 7 month old baby that was fingered by a pervert too? maybe you guys will say that she didn't wear her diapers well or she wanted it because the Little girl was an olosho and if dem use am, dem go use am. SMH
