The weirdest one I heard recently was that of landlords putting a big waste bin in the compound of their tenants and as the tenants dispose of their wastes into the bin, their fortunes go with the wastes to the landlord. I visited a friend and I tried to empty her waste bin into a cut-up gp tank used for waste disposal when she shouted at me to stop, told me the stuff and was dead serious about it and warned me not to empty her waste bin into it. I'm still dumbfounded
