In short their tourism earning figures don't make sense. It's nigeria type of cooking. Last year we received I think 1.2M tourists - our earning as we computed was 1.2B dollars. Tanzania received 1.3M tourist - their earnings as they self-reported - 2.5B dollars.

You should know it just in the period of Alshabab and their wars that they caught Kenya - otherwise generally we use to receive twice the number of their visitors - and they use to claim they earn the same as us.

Tanzania has never ever received more tourists than Kenya this is despite having more natural attractions.
Last year according to Tanzania invest the numbers were 1,280,000
Kenya despite being a political year 1,463,000 visitors.
The interesting part is that kenya earned $ 1.2 billion
While Tanzania earned $ 2billion from lesser numbers.
Obviously there is someone cooking figures.

GDP together with HDI is the best way to measure a countries wealth and prosperity. GNI ppp of Tanzania is 161 and that of Kenya is 175 according to CIA world Factbook.

I have clearly broken down how we got the cushitic influence in our DNA this is not only specific for Kikuyu but also kamba taita meru embu and very many other bantu tribes in Tanzania, Congo, Rwanda and Burundi all of this is because there were already existing cushitic groups living there already. This nonsense of a lost tribe that has ancient scrolls is plain stupid this is what Europeans used to trick tutsi lemba and many other groups including the fulani to separate them from forming unions with other tribes and made it easy to conquer . In Africa many groups existed before the bantu expansion, cushites, nilotes and pygmys were present in e.Africa and s.Africa we are simply mixed people any other historical shit should be treated with the contempt that it deserves

Luo are 50% bantu or even higher as it had actually been stated there are several groups the Luo have mixed with suba, Baganda, teso and most importantly luhya. Even the kalenjin are heavily mixed with bantu kisii and luhya that's where they learned farming they were pastrolists like the maa peoples until they intermarried with this groups. There is actually a kalenjin tribe in s.sudan and they are taller and darker than the Kenyan kalenjin and the they are purely pastrolists, same with luos. Actually in kenya and East Africa in general it is very hard to find a pure people many are mongrels with heavy mixtures of each other.
Fyi I'm Kikuyu and i did a DNA test by 23 and me
My results were
26% Somali
2% middle Eastern(Arab)
40% kenyan (bantu)
22% maasai (nilote)
10% west African (Liberian)

It is very interesting as how mixed Africans really are.
This nonsense of lost jewish tribes is purely and utterly rubbish and bullshit for lack of better words created by people all over Africa, kikuyu, maasai,igbo, lemba, fulani even Tutsi.

Please do not post misleading information there is no Ethiopian Jewish DNA In kikuyus what you have is Cushitic DNA from people who lived in the area occupied by kikuyus. The people who lived here were called dorobo or ndorobo which is a term used by maa peoples as a name for someone with no cattle. The ndorobo are an admixture of multiple groups and tribes. You will get nilote ndorobo and cushite ndorobo even pygmys were present in the greater mount Kenya region including coastal areas. The Kikuyu easily conquered this tribe by intermarriage and also by war they would kill off the men and take their women and children. Actually all bantu tribes in this area did this successfully until the maa were affected and reacted all tribes in this region feared the maa until the Kikuyu subdued them just before the arrival of the white man circa 1850-1870. This battle took place nearly everywhere where kikuyus have settled especially areas with maa names like nyeri, nyahururu and naivasha. Another major battle that took place was also in kiambu which literally translates to a place of screams.

Exactly Tanzanians and Ghanaians are very much the same laid back and friendly although dar es salaam is far more developed than accra with a lot more to do

I did,early in the morning they wake you up to see the elephants right underneath the hotel I've never been that close to wild animals. One thing I didn't like is at night there happens to be quite a number of owls and you know what culture says about owls..lol

I've been here recently it's a really quiet nice serene place in nyeri. Basically no tv, no music, no internet it's a place you go with your special someone and enjoy nature or make babies.lol

I must commend you people for keeping this thread alive. 1000+ pages of comparisons aren't you guys getting tired.
Anyways this thread has entertained,depressed,informed and made me happy the human psychology is indeed wonderful. I have lived in kenya and Nigeria(for nine months) so I know a little about both countries..I must however commend the Ethiopians they have joined this thread and not only have they educated people about their country they have not quarelled or argued with anyone.
I also have to commend fanfic girl she has remained positive despite the ignorant comments from both my country men and her peoples.
9ja kool I will find you and by you beer someday you are by far the most interesting person on this thread. P.s khoisan like tribes are not only in Tanzania they are also in kenya known as the waboni in the border region between kenya and Somalia in a forest known as boni forest. Also the akamba and mbeere were the last among the bantu tribe to assimilate the khoisan like tribes in their region and you can see the evidence in That as they are the only bantu speaking tribe in kenya that lives in a semi arid region also physical features can be seen as they are generally shorter than the other Bantu peoples.

All in all this thread is very interesting it started with facts deteriorated to insults went to information back to insults went to pictures back again to insults kenya vs nigeria Nigeria vs Ghana, s.a vs nigeria, ghana vs kenya back to Nigeria vs kenya hahaha the humans mind I love it. Kenyans need to know also Nigeria is the giant of Africa and rightfully so,population wise and economically.By 2020 Nigeria will have the largest economy in Africa surpassing south Africa.
