If you can raise between 70k to 100k, you can get a room self contain in some areas in Ikorodu, Lagos, and possibly some other low brow areas in Lagos. You should also plan for at least 2months feeding till you find your feet.

Please can someone tell me the registration deadline usually attached to each GRE exam date. For example, if I want to write the GRE by 30th of October, what will be the likely deadline date for registration?

@Tella26 better to ask for a TOEFL waiver than to submit that atrocious score. Retake the exam, it might be useful for assistantships.

@Kevwemanuel Yes is the answer to all the questions except no. 3, which is No. For 6. your application won't be considered complete until you submit your GRE scores though. Some may accept unofficial scores for the GRE until your offer comes.

For the past few days, I've been going through this thread, and assuming it's a church, I'd exclaim: "God is here". Regardless, indeed, God is here. I thank God for making me find this thread, and I thank everyone here for making it a success.

Despite my very shallow pocket, I'd love to share my own testimony come fall 2020, and to achieve that I want to start by taking the GRE and TOEFL. By God's grace, I already have a CGPA above 4.5.

My questions:

1) With a CGPA above 4.5, do I have any advantage in my quest for a full ride?

2) I intend to write the GRE and TOEFL by October ending, and get scores capable of giving me a fully funded scholarship (mehn, I'm currently a broke ass niggar and this journey will be impossible without a scholarship). Is this timeline feasible for both exams?

3) If I get my GRE and TOEFL scores by October ending, will it be too late to get full funding for fall 2020 admission?

4) With a fully funded scholarship (without any deficit), can I get a visa without a statement of account?

6) Can I start applying to schools now without my GRE and TOEFL, and later send them my scores once available?

7) Please I'd appreciate if anyone with study materials on GRE and TOEFL can send to me on : kevwemanuel at gmail.com

haha.. It's all part of a grand plan. A while ago, During my visit to Cambridge and MIT where I was invited, I had understood what I wanted and the ingredients necessary for it. For example Google and Microsoft's CEOs both worked a while before going to two of the best schools in the world respectively for their MBAs, Wharton (U of Pennsylvania) and Booth (U of Chicago)..which then landed them on a trajectory leading to their CEO roles now. Now that's just a few of examples. I know what I want already and I know the ingredients for it already. Very few early years at Shell/Exxon/chevron/NNPC(last option depending on advice) is part of the early ingredients. I have also discussed this at length with people at those top schools you mentioned so all is well.

Nigeria can also very much be a propulsion engine for great people.

I think that's just it o. Some teachers already dropped their resignation letter, so they are short staffed, and I happen to be their best teacher (academics anyway ).

Since some teachers dropped their resignation letters, I believe the school will need replacement. Kindly tell us the name and address of the school so we can apply.
