u3fine:Please can you give more info or link to the organization you registered with for the TEFL. What's the cost of the TEFL? |
WhyNa:thank you very much. |
Hello whyna, thanks alot for the eye opener. Please I need you to throw more light on some things, some of which you might have mentioned in passing, but were not clear enough to me. 1) Did you get a job from Nigeria before your arrival in vietnam? If yes, was this done by the agent you used? Please throw more light on how you got the job. 2) I know you mentioned that you had to send your documents to the agent to (possibly) process your visa, if I am right, what else did the agent do for you? 3) How much did the agent charge you? 4) You mentioned that your first point of call for authentification of documents was Ministry of Education, did you eventually authenticate the documents there or you went to another ministry? Please state the ministry if so. 5) What is the average pay like for teachers? 6)Please I need you to itemize all your costs during the process up until your arrival e.g. TEFL? Police report? Medical tests? Authentication? Notarization? Visa fee? Agent fee? Flight ticket? Accommodation cost in vietnam? Any other cost I forgot to mention? Total cost? God bless you as you go out of your way to answer my plenty plenty questions. N.B: To all the e-warriors, abeg I am not feeling fine and don't have power for insults. I just want great clarity in this process to aid a rational decision process. |

Thanks alot for this.quote author=calculator123 post=87619012] Your first question is very feasible. I would advise you read profagas, user1234, Time2smile, Time2win posts and draw some insights. As for your second question, I think your A.W.A score of 6 would be affected. Cheers!
|

Greetings everyone. I just wrote the GRE today after 1 week of preparation along side my preparation for IELTS, which is in 2 days time. The reason for this short duration of preparation is because I was given a short notice by the organization paying the fees. I however, struggled to score 150 in verbal and 155 in mathematics. Total 305 My questions are: 1) I have the GRE to take again in June (paid for already). Given the about 3 months duration from today, is it feasible to improve to a score of 325 and above? If yes, please I need suggestions on how to study. I used only ETS official verbal and quantitative in my preoaration. 2) In error, I didn't attempt the issue analytic writing but I attempted the argument case. I wrongly pressed the continue button and it took me to the argument case without me doing the issue case. How will this affect my score? Is there any thing I can do to save the situation? Please I will appreciate answers from everyone knowledgeable on this. |
It's another brand new Year! We have all prayed and wished for a better Year. Today is the 9th day of the year. How many of your plans have you been able to put into action? Or, are you like the former ME, that believed that there is no difference between years that it's just a change of figure? I changed that mindset in the 31st of Dec.2019. Let me tell you the full gist. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't believe there is a new year so on the 31st, when it was about 40 mins to 12am, I left the church to go get snacks for my kids. On my way, a thought was prompting me to hurry up so that I can meet up with the prayers for the new year; but I quickly shut down the thought that "what's the big deal? After all, it's going to be another Wednesday. But a gentle thought, dropped in my mind that" if you say there is no difference in years will you be happy to go through what you experienced in 2019? It was as if a veil was lifted off my face.. you can guess what happened next. You have prayed, and may have written out your plans and resolutions for 2020 have you started working on it? I know many of us may not have the financial capacity to work on our dreams and aspirations but do you know that, no one can start climbing a ladder from the top? You have to start from the bottom step and work your way up ward. In the course of brainstorming on getting capital to start up a side business, I discovered an efficient method that's very easy to execute and I will like to share it with as many as are interested. Just join me on whatsapp so that we can share ideas and better our lots this year. Remember that little drops will eventually become a pool of water. Start with what you have now and work your way up. Stop waiting for the lump sum that may not come. Join me on whatsapp at my signature. [/k] Kindly add me 08166185537. |

You have a masters degree. Prepare very well in the best way that you can and write the GRE and possibly TOEFL exam. If you can hit these exams hard, you have an over 80% chance of getting a fully funded scholarship to study in the US. This will give you a soft landing. There's a thread on schooling in USA in the travel section; go through the thread to get all the information you need. |
