Beetobee: Nigeria is a country whose citizens strive to go to school, but most actions and speeches of such 'educated' persons leaves me flabbergasted. But let me take the pains to broaden your very narrow research capabilities. Go to the Catholic Encyclopedia and check the age of Mary, mother of Jesus when she married Jacob the carpenter; she was 12 while Jacob was 99. This was the NORM at that time! And for your information, Saint Augustine, a christian, married a 10 year old girl in 350 AD. King Richard II in 1400 AD married a 7 year old girl. King Henry VIII in 1500 AD married a 5 year old girl. So who's fooling who here? Try and get yourself enlightened before you burp. Thank you for that I was about to say the same thing. People fail to realize that the world has changed since then. |

The guy made a valid point and you allow sentiment block your reasoning. Since your lords (Hausa/Fulani) have been ruling Nigeria for over 40 years please tell me if we have ever moved forward? Your problem is doing same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Finally don't allow hate kill you. LMAO!! I can see you have no simple sense of reasoning. You talking about sentiment I mentioned facts. Handsomecole: On a more serious note I think an Igboman becoming a Nigerian President, would make Nigeria better. Putting tribal sentiments aside. The Igbos are the only tribe that confidently associate and establish in all geo-political zones of the country.
For me I think we should just give them a try. If they can excel in business I see no reason they can't apply such in developing Nigeria as whole. This suffering is just too much abeg. Quick question; have they developed their states? I agree that they are in every state but is it these same set of theives that would rule us? If the Igbos want to make a statement, I beg make they no show these same set of politicians |
