So so true. The only thing that was recently innovative enough was the Face ID. Others were just an improvement on an already existing tech. So will be foldable displays.

This is the confusion many people face.
Many phones show 4G mean while the network is 3.5G hspa. Some phones approximates 3.5G to 4G. While some phones will show H+
That's why some people think they are on 4G but its actually 3G.

4G is same as 3.5G.



The main 4G is LTE.

4G is not the same as 3.5G, this confusion is a result of false advertising by ISPs, the only phones you will see 4G when they're actually not on a 4G network are carrier locked phones, it's similar to what is happening in the US today where Sprint has sued ATnT for claiming 5G when they're still on 4G.

What I'm saying is, using industry standards instead of false advertising of unscrupulous companies 3.5G and 4G are completely different.

They're the same thing, 4G is the common name for LTE,
in the same way that
2G = GPRS and EDGE
3G = UMTS
3.5G & 3.7G = HSDPA

Happens to me when my connection is slow, what works sometimes is that I go to my home screen without closing play store or stopping the download then I put the phone in airplane mode then turn on the network again, or just turn off and then turn on data connection.

Try it, it may work for you.

Simple advise, if it's not a high-end model then don't buy Samsung, the Nokia is a better option for a mid-range phone.
