I think I agree with you on this.
I enjoyed the battery performance of my Galaxy A30 for 2 months after I bought it. Since then I have been using glo network & it gets hot most times when I switch on my data.
I usually get 5. 5 hours SOT(used to be 8-9 hours dat 1st 2 months). It is now worse since I upgraded to Android 10. My phone is now slow & freezes a lot.
I'm kind of disappointed but I really like this phone.

I'm not sure but I think they only use different chipsets for the same models on their flagship devices, in their midrange and budget phones they on use one for each model.

The reason they use Snapdragon in the US is because the US networks use CDMA tech while other countries use GSM, Samsung's Exynos chips don't support CDMA.

Basically, Samsung always releases two versions of their flagship devices, one with a Snapdragon chipset for the US and one with an Exynos chipset for the rest of the world.

The problem is that the Exynos chipset is just not as good as Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips, the performance of the Exynos is worse, the camera quality is not as good, it gets hotter than the Snapdragon and it has worse battery life.

Another issue is that depending on where you are in the world you're most likely paying more than US customers for an inferior device

Honestly, you should be more concerned about the 4G-LTE bands on whichever Nokia you want to buy. Many of them dont even have MTN band 20, talk less of GLO's Band 28.

Where did you get this information that they don't support band 20?

I don't think it does, but since you bought a windows 7 laptop I would advise you to upgrade Windows 8.1 and leave it at that, Windows 10 does not perform well with older PCs.
