Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Lady Fired 30mins After Getting Dream Job Because Of Her Tattoo by khassy(m): 5:48am On Sep 27, 2015
baski92:
A woman who landed her ‘perfect’ job was fired half an hour later after
the company learned she had a tattoo on her hand. Claire Shepherd
applied for the role of retail merchandiser at logistics centre Dee Set
in her home city of Swansea, Wales. Clearly impressed with her
experience, the 27-year-old was offered the position after passing a
telephone interview with ‘flying colours’.
However, after discovering that Claire had inkings on her hand – which
would be difficult to cover up – the firm backtracked and said they could
not hire her as the design may ’cause offence’.
Frustrated Claire, who got the intricate tattoo that extends from her
forefinger, over her hand and on to her forearm 18 months ago, vented
her anger on Facebook. She told her followers:
‘I got a new job today! And then I got sacked within half an hour. I
had a telephone interview today with Dee Set for a retail
merchandiser and was happy when at the end of the phone call she told
me I had the position and would be starting next week. The company
then sent me an e-mail with their dress standards. As I read it I was
gutted as they noted that all tattoos must be covered up as they are
likely to cause offence.
Thinking that this was an ‘old standard e-mail the company sent out’,
Claire contacted Dee Set, hoping that their views had changed and
explained that her emblem wouldn’t affect her work.
She continued: ‘I have 6 years previous experience in managerial roles
and my tattoos have never been an issue. That is until I applied for a
role with Dee Set that work with Tesco, Asda, Boots and other
chains. I was shocked when they replied and said they would no longer
be employing me as I would not be able to cover my tattoos. They
clearly thought I had something to offer and would be the right person
for the job as they had already offered me the position,’ she said.
‘I’m shocked that people still discriminate against visible tattoos. I just
didn’t think this happened any more. I’m totally disgusted,’ she said
while ending her rant.
Claire’s rant has been shared nearly 2,000 times now and re-tweeted by
American plus-size model Tess Holliday, who is a fellow ink devotee.

Politics › Re: Secession Not In Igbo’s Interest, Ohanaeze Tells MASSOB by khassy(m): 5:35am On Sep 27, 2015
Stephansmily:
The youth wing of the
apex Igbo socio-
cultural organisation,
Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has
told the leadership of the Movement for the Actualisation of the
Sovereign State of Biafra that seceding from Nigeria, as
being agitated by the group, would not be in the interest of
the Igbo.

The National President of Ohanaeze Youth Council, Mazi
Okechukwu Isiguzoro stated this on Saturday during a press
conference in Umuahia, Abia State, to unveil plans for this
year’s Igbo Youths Day slated for Monday in Umuahia.
According to him, it is better for Ndigbo to remain in Nigeria
and struggle for their fair share of the ‘national cake’ than
fight for self-determination with its attendant consequences.
He said, “ It is better we remain in Nigeria and fight for our
rights than secede. We have been patient enough and in
2019, it will be our turn to produce a Nigerian President. It
will take a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction to heal the
wounds of Biafra.”

He called on the Federal Government to unconditionally
release all members of MASSOB and other Biafran activists
detained in various prisons across the country.
Isiguzoro also appealed to the Federal Government to
address what he described as injustices against Ndigbo in
the country, which he said were the major reason for the
agitation for self-rule by MASSOB and other pro- Biafran
groups.

He further argued that it defied logic for members of
MASSOB who are non-violent to continue to be held illegally
for years in detention, ‘‘while the same government is busy
releasing captured members of violent groups like Boko
Haram and Niger Delta militants who have taken up arms
against the state.”

“Since the Federal Government is secretly negotiating with
Boko Haram terrorists, why can’t it also negotiate with
MASSOB, which is non-violent? Since it is releasing some
Boko Haram fighters, it should also consider MASSOB
members detained illegally in prisons.”
The OYC helmsman however declared support for the anti-
corruption war of President Muhammadu Buhari, arguing
that those responsible for the woes of Nigeria should be
brought to book.
He also said the Igbo Youths Day would be used to sensitise
Igbo governors on the urgent need to invest in agriculture
for youth empowerment.
Speaking earlier, Chairman of the organising committee and
National Vice-Treasurer of OYC, Dr. Lawrence Dozie, said the
theme of this year’s celebration is “Ndigbo: The Challenges
of our Youths.”

Romance › Re: 9 Things You Should Never Do To A Woman’s Breasts During Sex by khassy(m): 5:16am On Sep 27, 2015
realuz:
Men love to use breasts as a prop, no matter the size, shape, or color – a large one is loved for its largeness and a small one is loved for its handiness while a pointed one is good for sucking and a round one is cool for massaging…

Men love bre asts.
It is a natural attraction that 99% of men share from birth and it remains with them until death.
Undoubtedly, one of the most attractive parts of a woman is her boobs and, with the cleavage exposure we see these days, it is one of the most visible sexual parts.
When it comes to pre-intimacy men love to use breasts as a prop, no matter the size, shape, or color – a large one is loved for its largeness and a small one is loved for its handiness while a pointed one is good for sucking and a round one is cool for massaging…
Now, some men handle the breasts like it’s the handle bar of their power bikes, forgetting that is flesh and blood too.

Here are some things you must never do with your woman's boobs:
Never ignore them. Yes, this might be funny but the first rule of sex and breasts is that you must involve them in the sexual action. [Most] Women love to have their breasts touched and it would be unfair to let those twin jugs feel lonely.
Never hit them sharply. Like a man’s balls, a direct blow to the breasts can yield intense pain to women so avoid hitting them intentionally or by mistake.
Never mash them like you’re checking for cancer. Hehehehe…women love to have their breasts touched but not like you’re kneading flour for bread.
Never try to twist and rotate the boobs as if you’re squeezing clothes to dry. The breasts may look flexible and responsible to twisting, but there is an elastic limit which, if breached, you begin to give the owner of the boobs intense pain.
Never turn pinching to an attack. Yes, it is okay to pinch the boobs lightly. But a handshake that goes beyond the shoulder is an attack, same with the breast. When you begin to pinch too hard, you’re looking for trouble.
Never lick them like a child licks plate after a sweet meal. Licking is one of the way to please a woman’s breasts. Still, you must be dignified as you do it, don’t make it look like you’re trying to lick paint off a chinaware.
Never juggle/jiggle them. If you want a job at the circus, go to the circus instead of practicing with those tender beauties. A woman’s breasts hold a lot of pleasures and jiggling them is not a way to unleash those pleasures.

I was so surprised when Sir. Khassy, who just registered on this forum last year, celebrated his 4000th post on NL while somebody like me, who has been here for a couple of years now has not even began to dream about his 1000th post. grin grin
However, seeing his chatty loquacity and lively garrulousness on this thread, I was less surprised.

Shout out to everyone in the house, stalites and prospective freshers, I believe we have fewer days to wait before we all know out next step of action.

In view of that, I'll like to enjoin us to be more prayerful, especially aspirants ( for stalites, it's more of what we've done than what we can do now wink )
