My sister's interview appointment in a few days was rescheduled by US consulate and moved by one month. We have no idea what is going on. Do you have any suggestions on what we can do. She travelled in yesterday and we received the email today.

I don't have so much to share from my personal interview experience however, from others that I listened to while waiting for my turn, it is best to go very prepared with lots of prayers. Study all transcripts on this forum and draft yours too. I drafted mine and went through the interview process with a Nairalander at least once. Treasure the advice on this platform....na real gold!

Me- Yes. Searched my documents, couldn't find the print out and I saw it stuck to the form i-20 I gave her. Told her to check beneath the form i-20. She didn't.

VO- Typed on her system and handed me the white paper with my documents while she kept my passport. Told me to pick up....
Me- Thank you and left.

GRE was optional. I chose not to write. My guess is, it was made so because of COVID.

I wrote Duolingo instead of TOELF. You can write either of the exams.

You can state the UK school as well and if asked why the US you state your reason. There no law against applying to both countries

I applied to just one school in the US and one in the UK. I got both admissions. Planning on going to the US because my deficit is less than $1000. If asked how many schools I applied to, my plan was to say one school in the US but from your comment below....What do you suggest? The school I applied to already stated admission will come with automatic full funding while other schools don't have same provision. So I just applied to the school alone.

Yes! The more school hours apply to, the better your opportunity to select the best one and, perhaps, receive funding.

Sevis fee must be paid before interview and a coupon must be generated to make this payment. However, interview appointment can be scheduled before payment of sevis.

1. use the start/end dates on your i20.
2. personal funds means you're the one covering the deficit of your program.
if that has changed, mail your school requesting for a new i20 and ask them to change the sponsor part to "family". that way you can use any 3rd party as sponsor. The new i20 can be sent through email since embassy still accepts printed copy.
My 2cents. Hope this helps.

Hello Gurus. Please I need your help.

My confusion is, school listed my deficit as coming from "personal funds" on i-20 while my sponsor whose bank statement I submitted before my 1-20 was released was not listed. Is it okay to fill "self" as who is paying for the trip on my DS-160 form to match "personal funds" indicated on i-20? I have the funds without needing a sponsor and secondly, I can't get my sponsor's bank statement (the original copy). I have the scanned copy of the bank statement which was signed and sent directly to the school. Sponsor is based in the UK.

Also, DS 160 is requesting for social media handles. Is it okay to list one or all?

Can someone please help me. I filled the form for renewal online but didn't put my NIN because it was optional and I wanted to get the old one anyway. After filing and submitting I realized I am to payN25,000 cost for the new passport. Apparently no more old passport at Ikoyi office. It's fine to pay N25,000 but won't I have issues capturing because I did not fill in my NIN?

I use Eva soap. I don't use any cleanser...I clean my face with baby wipes and exfoliate once in while. It must have been a gradual process but I did not notice on time. I used it for about 2 months if not more than.

I am dark in complexion. I used funbact A and tribact on my face last year on doctors recommendation to treat ringworm skin infection but I reacted to it and it left the area between by brows down to the base of my nose very light and obviously different. I want it to go back to being dark like every other part of my face. Please recommend what I can use. All I use on my body and face is pears baby lotion.
