Personally I don't think it was a great idea & I sure hope she doesn't do that with every guy she meets because kids are impressionable & can easily attach to "nice" strangers. Plus I suspect it could be confusing to a child, if she tags her along to every date she goes to.

I don't think she takes the kid to every date.. that would be dumb!..I think she feels a connection with the OP.
