I can guarantee you that funds enter Adeboye’s personal account every hour because members appreciate him when his prayers work for them. Should he deposit his personal gifts into the church account too?

Any church asking you to "be a pastor" like that must be a small local one. Good for you that you’ve left. A church that can raise 900k is not small, and no pastor runs that alone without a Treasurer. Even Oyedepo gives account—or you think Winners doesn't have a Treasurer? Abeg, what is his job then? How many churches do you actually know? Let me list just three that I know for a fact have solid welfare systems: RCCG, Winners, and Christ Embassy. >
These missions pay scholarships and feed thousands daily without even coming to the pulpit to beg for donations. Mind you, I’m not even a "church-goer" anymore, but I speak facts when I see them.

Secondly, unless you are attending a "one-man-business" roadside church, no Pastor has direct access to the treasury. These big churches have Boards of Trustees, Treasurers, and Auditors. It’s not a "withdraw-as-you-like" system.

Also, why do you people assume every Pastor is an illiterate? Many of them are Professionals—Doctors, Senior Advocates, and Engineers. Do you honestly think someone like Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (a former VP and Senior Advocate) needs your "peanuts" from the offering basket to survive? 🤡

Many of these men are only "Pastors" on Sundays. During the week, they are in their offices or running businesses. Some even earn less than 200k from the church, and some are even subsidizing the church from their own pockets!

Wash that dirty mindset. Not every Pastor driving a car is "thieving" church money. Some people actually worked for their wealth before the "Call."
